This study is based on interviews with heads of unit, care staff and senior representatives from a total of six people. We have in this study directed our focus on care quality in the elderly as a concept in development. It appears, when the elderly do not have any dependents, it is even more important that staff supports some extra where no relatives are involved.Quality of life is the broader concept of good quality care and where a good quality of care is a necessary condition for a good quality of life. According to the social services care is the target that older people will live a good life and be allowed to live in a safe environment, which we intend to investigate in this study. Opportunity for greater influence should now be given to older people and their families on how interventions should be designed and implemented.

Instagram is one of the most common used social media platforms among teenagers today. It is not only one of the most common used social media platforms, but as well one of the most common places where cyber bullying takes action. By using focus groups, netnographic studies and a questionnary we investigate the meaning of technology regarding how the bullying on Instagram takes shape and the strategies used by teenagers to handle cyber bullying.Our research shows five different ways that cyber bullying takes shape and ten different strategies implemented to handle those. The findings are compared with previous research. The ten different strategies are then discussed from aspects that are found to have a big influence on how those are implemented: gender, knowledge, experience and awareness, presence of parents and other relatives, personal experience, trust in the technical solutions and the weaknesses of those. .

När en familjemedlem drabbas av demens förändras hela livssituationen för den anhörige. För att sjuksköterskan ska kunna stödja de anhöriga krävs det kunskap och ökad förståelse om de anhörigas vårdarroll i hemmet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva anhörigas upplevelser av att vårda en familjemedlem i hemmet som insjuknat i demens. Sex självbiografier analyserades för att ta del av anhörigas egna upplevelser av att vårda en demenssjuk familjemedlem. Till grund för analys av data låg Burnards (1991) innehållsanalys och Graneheims & Lundmans (2004) kvalitativa innehållsanalys.

BACKGROUND: Pressure ulcers are unpleasant and painful and causes anxiety not only patient but also for the relatives. It also results in longer hospital stay and increased costs for health care sector and because of this it?s important to identify and survery the origin and what preventive measures there are to prevent pressure ulcer. AIM: To illustrate the nurses´ work to prevent the origin of pressure ulcers. METHOD: A general literary study where scientific articles were searched and found in electronic databases and through manual searches.

The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how an individual's identity is constructed and reinforced through clothing brands. This we intend to achieve by studying and analyzing the significance of clothing brands on consumers. In close proximity to this purpose, we have chosen to work with three research questions:? How do consumers see clothing as a means to express themselves? ? What perception does consumers have on clothing brands as identity creators? ? How do consumers value wearing clothes from a particular clothing brand?.

With help from Hälsoteknikcentrum the need for storage of medical items in the home care section has come to our attention by an investigation that Hälsoteknikcentrum did. Facilea and the nursing stuff at Eketånga home care have developed a product specified to improve the work situation for both the nursing staffs and the patients.The trolley is equipped with a special module to make the trolley more adjustable for the recipients and the nursing staffs needs and desires. The product also collect all the care items in one place. Which gives the care patient and its relatives a possibility to gather all the medical items in one place and don?t have to put these in bookshelves etcetera.After surveys, interviews and home visits a prototype was built.

This essay is about personal assistance for persons with considerable intellectual disabilities.The purpose with the study is: to examine personal assistance for individuals, who can`t speakfor themselves, to examine how the individuals can determine and get influence into theirassistance and how they can get help with it, to examine the role of an representative inrelation to the serviceuser´s assistance and examine if there are factors of gender in theinterviews.The chosen method is qualitative interviews.The interviews has been analysed through earlier research about personal assistance andtheoretical perspectives like: influence, integration and citizenship and discussed throughperspectives of social psychology.The main conclusions are: the influence the serviceusers can have is through persons whoknow them very well, the role of the representatives are indistinct, the serviceusers can´tdetermine their assistance themselves and need help with it from relatives, representatives,personal assistants and managers, the persons who know the serviceuser intimately are best totransform the needs to assistance. The factors of gender, are that there are more men aspersonal assistants than in the care of elderly, and the representatives are mostly men. Thepersonal assistants appreciates the time they have for the serviceuser, the work can be lonelyand demanding..

The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of district nurses to care for and have responsibility for the care of people with dementia in home care. Aims: The aim of this study was to describe how patients that received a patient diary after their stay at an intensive care unit (ICU) had used the diary and if they found it useful for dealing with their stay in the ICU. The study also aimed to investigate if the patients felt a need for discussing their stay in the ICU and the diary with a registered nurse.Method: The study was performed as an interview study with explorative design. Six informants participated in the study. Recorded personal interviews were held with the informants. The recorded material was transcribed and analysed using qualitative content analysis on a manifest level.Results: This study shows that informants have used their diaries to establish a conception of what they have experienced during their stay in the ICU.
