The consequences of obesity are believed to be metabolic and hormonal changes, as well as cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, orthopedic problems, tumors and premature death. Prevention and early detection of obesity leads to better health care.

The analysis provides tools for examining decision methods and preference changes.

This thesis treats the topic of user-generated comments connected with news stories on news sites, meaning electronic word-of-mouth combined with PR. The writers have examined how different types of comments affect consumers' perception of the article and also what communication effects these comments generate in terms of attitudes, purchase intent and word-of-mouth intent. The results interesting to the news site owners, is that lots of comments and negative comments generate a negative effect by making the actual article less credible, attractive and worth reading (Relative to the subsequent comments). On the positive side, serious comments imply that the news story is perceived as more interesting, than a news story followed by non-serious comments. From a brand equity perspective, the interesting results show that few comments compared to lots of comments, generate a better attitude to the brand, even though there is no difference in how positive or negative the comments are.

Numerous studies raise the topic of highly educated immigrants whose education and list of qualifications devalue in the context of the Swedish labour market. However, little is known of those with foreign background who enter into higher education in Sweden. Our study attempts to shed some light onto the value of higher education Relative to that of a person?s ethnic background. The background material features nine in-depth interviews of foreign background academics, as well as data extracted from an extensive survey study previously carried out at Växjö University. Initially, the quantitative data showed that students with foreign background, including Swedish-born children of immigrants, had not managed to find qualified work upon completion of studies to the same extent as their Swedish background counterparts.

Bakgrund: I dagens samhälle pågår ständiga debatter om genus i olika kontexter, diskussionen om exempelvis löneskillnader, barnuppfostran och vårdande utifrån genus är närvarande i media, i såväl TV som tidningar och på internet. Studier har visat på att kvinnor och män uppfattar vårdande olika samt har olika preferenser för hur vårdandet skall utformas ? sjuksköterskor bör därför vara genusmedvetna i mötet med patienten för att kunna ge genuskänsligt vårdande utifrån en personcentrerad utgångspunkt.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva patienters uppfattningar av vårdande ? ur ett genusperspektiv.Metod: Detta arbete har genomförts som en litteraturöversikt och har baserats på 14 stycken vetenskapliga artiklar som har analyserats med en kvalitativ designmetod. Arbetet är förankrat med utgångspunkt i Katie Erikssons teori om vårdande.Resultat: Resultatet utgörs av tre teman; (a) Kvinnor och mäns förväntningar samt önskemål för vårdande, (b) När förväntningar och önskemål ej tillgodoses samt (c) När förväntningar och önskemål tillgodoses. Olikheter mellan könen gällande uppfattningar av vårdande framkom främst vid missnöje.

In order to increase productivity and efficiency work studies are used to, through an analysis, find developments in methods that result in improved work methods and to establish the time that are used. Increased production of different parts and customer driven production in combination with increased demands on rationalisation of capital have led to an enlarged interest for shorter set up times in the production.To point out the use of capacity and the set up time of the cutters at Stålöv AB we used frequency studies. Frequency studies are work measure methods based on random observations on predetermined events to calculate the Relative occurrence of these events.

Vi ville skriva en kandidatuppsats som belyser barn som närstående samt sjuksköterskans förhållningssättgentemot dessa. Barn är en grupp med speciella behov eftersom de ska utvecklas till att så småningom blifungerande vuxna. Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa vad aktuell forskning visar om hur barn, 6-12år gamla med en kritiskt sjuk förälder eller annan familjemedlem upplevde och hanterade denna situation,samt vad barnen hade för behov. Syftet var också att belysa hur sjuksköterskan mötte och förhöll sig tilldessa barn. Uppsatsen är en litteraturöversikt.
