In this text I will work on three situations from my daily work as a pedagogue at preschool. The situations are about how pedagogues at preschool relate to children in difficult situations, e.g. when they pee in their pants or long for their pacifier. Those are situations which occur frequently at preschool, but they are still rarely coming up for discussions. The problem in the situations is difficult to describe which makes the essay a suitable form for me to explore and discuss it.

The aim of this study was to understand how social workers perceive and understand violence and threats of violence from clients, and how it effect their working environment. It seems that the respondents understand the violence and threats of violence from clients as a result of the clients background problems, vulnerability, dependency and from ?the reason" that the client is currently in the contact with the organization. How respondents interpret the client´s behaviour based on the above-mentioned factors, seem to determine how the respondents perceive and define the violence and threats of violence by clients directed against them. Interestingly enough, although all respondents in the study experienced violence and threats of violence from clients, none of them perceived themselves as exposed at work. The answer to this is consensual.

Purpose: The aim with the report is to investigate if the South East Asian customer on the food processing market base their investments on Total Cost of Ownership and if so, which are the cost drivers considered most vital. Moreover, do these cost-drivers diverge from the perception FP Ltd has, and if so, can a Total Cost of Ownership-model help to achieve a mutual understanding? Methodology: First a descriptive approach will be taken, identifying FP Ltd?s employers? perception on how to meet the customer. This will later be compared to our empirical findings of the actual customer behaviour in Thailand and Vietnam. Thorough analyse of the gap between the two parts will give us the outcome whether or not FP Ltd will have any use of presenting a quantitative model justifying their higher price.

När döden inträffar plötsligt, har efterlevande inte fått någon chans till mental förberedelse inför dödsfallet. Efterlevande löper därmed stor risk att drabbas av komplicerade sorgereaktioner, med psykisk och fysisk ohälsa som följd. Denna grupp möts inte i tillräckligt stor utsträckning av strukturerad evidensbaserad omvårdnad, i proportion till efterlevande vid väntade dödsfall. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa närståendes behov vid plötslig död samt att understryka relevanta omvårdnadsåtgärder i akuta skeden. Litteraturstudien är baserad på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar som på olika sätt behandlar närståendes behov vid plötslig död.

The thesis is formed by three main categories:? What is social media?? Who are using social media?? How can you use social media in public Relations?The information which is being presented in this thesis is based on academic reports, interviews and research on social media blogs and lectures. It is a qualitative approach since the purpose is to get a deeper understanding for the subject in question.

The aim of this study is to, from a child?s family Relations, describe the usage of terms relating to factors of risk and safety in science and in investigations concerning children in need of protection. It is also of importance in what way the terms are used when the Social Services suggest that measures should be taken, and in which way the children have been heard in the investigations.The issues raised in this study are: (a) How is the current life situation and life quality of the children discussed? (b) The value of factors concerning risks and protection. (c) How is the children?s own descriptions taken in to consideration? (d) Is gender issues considered? (e) How is Lagerberg?s model (Lagerberg, 1998) useful in investigations?The method of analysis is mainly qualitative however it is combined with analysis of literature relevant to the study.

Omvårdnadsrelationen och omvårdnadsmötet är omvårdnadens livsrum. Ett vårdmöte med tolk inblandad borde ses som en interaktion mellan tre eller möjligen fler personer. Detta arbete syftar till att beskriva sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av relationerna i sådana möten.Sjuksköterskor med erfarenhet av tolkanvändning ombads att besvara en enkät innehållande kvantitativa och kvalitativa frågor. Utöver detta gjordes två semistrukturerade intervjuer. Svaren analyserades med öppen innehållsanalys.Tre huvudkategorier hittades: trygghet, tolkteknik och kulturella aspekter.

Bröstcancer kan vara en omvälvande upplevelse samtidigt som det kan medföra obehagliga sjukhusbesök och läkarvård, som i ett ögonblick kan vända upp och ner på tillvaron. Under året 2007 fick 45 män en bröstcancerdiagnos i Sverige. Att möta en man som har fått diagnosen bröstcancer kan vara en väldigt speciell och ovanlig situation för vårdpersonalen eftersom diagnosen är relativt ovanlig. Detta kan resultera i att vårdpersonalen inte vet hur dem ska bemöta mannen i den aktuella vårdsituationen. För att förstå mannen som får bröstcancer måste hans upplevelser bejakas.

The building industry is a conservative market where the incentive to changes has been relatively low compared to other industries.

This paper is a critique of the hegemonic democracy ideal in France today, the myth of the Republic. Based on critical theory, the paper also contains a normative attempt giving the chance to subaltern groups to tell their, less often heard, version of the "truth".The theoretical foundation is the ontological narrative perspective, where identities and actions are understood as being constructed by the telling of stories. The interdependent Relations of different narrative dimensions are analyzed. The power over who gets to tell the story of the "truth" is understood as decided in the interaction by dimensions of metanarrativity, public narratives, ontological narratives and conceptual narrativity. The author argues, inspired by Chantal Mouffe, that consensus is an illusion based on exclusion of those that differ.

Since the 1980s, the management philosophy New Public Management has resulted in major changes in the public administration system in several countries, especially in the West. A market oriented approach and an increased focus on performance measurement are ideals that are salient in these changes. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the management philosophy?s influence on international Relations through a critical analysis of some of its ideals in the management of international development cooperation, where effectiveness, quality, and results have been new dominant concepts. Through a qualitative content analysis of a Swedish Communication from 2014 ? the Aid Policy Framework ? and a debate in the Swedish parliament where this Communication was discussed, different themes that reflect the strategy of so called results based management in Sweden are identified.

Purpose: To explore how the changes in work life, here represented and depicted through the concepts of knowledge work and knowledge worker, have been incorporated in the official psychosocial work environment discourse in Sweden. Methodology: Critical discourse analysis, contrasting the official psychosocial work environment discourse to literature on knowledge work and knowledge worker, to explore how employees, employers and their Relations are constructed within these two discourses; focusing identity, autonomy and power. Using the constructions to make visible how they are articulated, used and dealt with in a real life case from the Work Environment Authority. Theoretical perspectives: Our social world is socially constructed and language is the main tool for constructing it. Discourse analysis is thus not just a tool for deconstructing texts but also for enhanced understanding of our construction of the world and our ability to communicate about it.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze why or why not Swedish municipalities implement the gender equality policy ? ?right to work fulltime?. In order to understand this institutional change, the analysis is based on a theoretical framework consisting of two fields: political representation and feminist institutionalism. The study is divided into two empirical inquiries. The first part is based on a quantitative survey that describes the casual Relationship between two independent variables; women´s political representation and party ideology, and the dependent variable; political decision about ?right to work fulltime?.

Finns det förbättringsmöjligheter för att ytterligare främja det sociala kapitalet på CreActive?Syfte:Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur CreActive skapar nytta för sin omgivning. Det kommer även att undersökas kring hur mötet uppstår mellan människor på CreActive som ska främja det sociala kapitalet.Metod:Studien genomfördes med den kvalitativa metoden, eftersom den fångar upp detaljer och information av intervjupersonernas tolkning av verkligheten, det vill säga deras uppfattning, tankar och känslor. Det medför en inblick kring hur CreActive arbetar med mötet mellan människor, för att främja det sociala kapitalet. Empirin består av intervjuer med studenter och anställda.Slutsats:Det framgår att studenter inte känner till CreActive i den utsträckning som CreActive vill.
