Den här studien är en fördjupad inblick i stadsplanerarnas perspektiv och synpunkter på sin roll och relation till politiker. Syftet med studien är att identifiera hur stadsplanerare ser på sin roll och relation till politikerna, och vilka konfliktpunkter det finns mellan dem i planeringsprocessen. Följande teman är fokus för studien: Stadsplanerarens syn på sin roll, Stadsplanerarens tolkning av kunskap, Stadsplanerarens syn på politikernas roll och Kommunikation.Litteraturstudierna redogör för stadsplanerarnas och politikernas relation till varandra utifrån ett kunskaps-, kommunikations- och självbildsperspektiv. Stadsplanerare och politiker är till stor del beroende av de obligatoriska spelreglerna som ges av lagstiftningen men påverkas också av externa aktörer och intressenter. Både stadsplanerare och politiker strävar efter en friktionsfri planprocess, dock är det svårt att åstadkomma de har olika kunskapsnivåer, förväntningar och motiv.Två stadsplanerare i en mellanstor kommun i Stockholm ger sin syn på rollen som planerare och relation till politiker.

This bachelor thesis is intended to point out differences within the supervisors? role and contribute in making the role more attractive. At present the information about how the supervisors? perspective varies on the supervisors? role and the introduction to it depending on work experience and education is unknown. Further it was investigated why the supervisors? role is seen as an entrance to the building industry and how to develop the role to encourage the supervisors to stay longer within it.In the collection of data we have been interviewing supervisors and studying literature.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to investigate how the relation between users and librarians is affected by higher education librarians? talk about information literacy. The thesis uses Norman Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis in analysing four articles written by Swedish higher education librarians and in answering how information literacy, users and librarians are constituted. The analysis indicate that the questions have no distinct answers, there are discrepancies between, as well as within the texts.

Studien genomf?rdes med en kvalitativ metod med hj?lp av fem intervjuer med sex familjehemsf?r?ldrar, fr?n tre olika kommuner i Sverige. Studien riktar in sig p? familjehemsf?r?ldrar som inte har n?gon tidigare kontakt med det placerade barnets n?tverk.

The purpose of this paper was to look at the perception of self-determination for adults with intellectual disabilities from their perspective. We wanted to examine the experience of the space available for self-determination in some key areas of life, and how their own thoughts and ideas have been addressed by others. Through interviews with six people with intellectual disabilities, we have found that a single definition of self-determination is elusive. The key seems to be that you get the opportunity to do what you want, to have your voice heard and to receive and take responsibility. The space for self-determination is perceived by respondents as both large and small.

Denna uppsats behandlar hur ett införande av SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) påverkar en organisations IT-arkitektur. IT-arkitekturen har stor betydelse för en organisation och det är viktigt att arkitekturen är anpassad efter verksamheten för att lyckas med ett införande. Syftet var således att ta fram ett ramverk innehållande faktorer som påverkar IT-arkitekturen vid ett införande av SOA, vilka problem dessa faktorer kan medföra samt förslag på åtgärder. Genom litteraturgranskning och tre kvalitativa intervjuer erhöll vi underlag för att skapa ovan nämnda ramverk. Resultatet blev ett ramverk innehållande fem dimensioner av IT-arkitektur som visar att påverkan till stor del beror på hur väl IT-arkitekturen är anpassad till verksamheten.

I denna studie behandlas enskilda polisers resonerande kring våld i nära relation. Syftet har varit att genom intervjuer synliggöra olika diskurser i de enskilda polisernas resonemang kring ämnet, samt att även synliggöra vilka konsekvenser som kan uppstå från diskurserna. This essay examines the speaking subject in Katarina Frostenson?s poetry through a phenomenological perspective. The study is focused on how the subject appears, the relation between the subject?s inner world and the outside world, and the relation between the speaking subject and language. The purpose of the study is to expand the understanding of questions regarding the subject in Frostenson?s poetry by using a phenomenological approach ? a perspective that is missing in previous studies.

Den här uppsatsen är en jämförande studie mellan hur svenska och amerikanska vetenskapsjourn-alister ser på och hanterar relationen till forskare. Syftet är att ta reda på vilka förutsätt-ningarna är för en god relation mellan vetenskapsjournalister och forskare så att det journalistiska uppdraget kan genomföras.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the narrative in You are a bad man, mr Gum! to be able to understand and explain the intermedial aspects of the work. I assume an intermedial, narratological and reception theory perspective in my analysis. The method of close reading is used combined with a reader-oriented perspective. I examine the medial aspects of the chosen work through the pictures, the text, and the iconicity of the typographical pattern of the text. To reach my goal, the following questions are dealt with: What is the character of the narration? How do the various media interact in the production of meaning? What is the relationship between the text and the implicit reader? What is the narratological difference between reading the book aloud and silently? The theoretical framework f the paper consists of narratological and intermedial theories.

The aim of this Master thesis is, from a sociocultural perspective, to investigate the views the teaching librarians at Södertörn University Library (SHB) have on learning, information literacy, and their own pedagogical role, and how their views affect user education and their ideas about the future of user education.The research questions used were: How do the teaching librarians view learning? How is this view reflected in their work with user education? How do the teaching librarians envisage user education in the future, and how do they work to reach that goal?Five semi-structured interviews were conducted with the teaching librarians at SHB. The interviews were then analysed using qualitative content analysis.The results of the study show that the teaching librarians at SHB share a sociocultural view on learning, and take a communicative oriented approach to user education. They believe that communication and interaction support learning, and in the classroom they stimulate discussions both between librarian and student, and between the students themselves. In the future, they hope for improved collaboration between librarians and academic staff, and that user education will become a natural element of the curriculum..

Syftet med studien är att undersöka om och hur läraruppdraget påverkas av IT i relation till värdegrunden. Studien söker svar på två frågeställningar: vilken eventuell integrering uttrycker lärare mellan användande av IT och gestaltandet av skolans värdegrund? Hur påverkar lärarens syn på IT användandet av tekniken i undervisningen, främst i relation till läroplanens värdegrund? Undersökningen bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med sex gymnasielärare: fyra kvinnor och två män. Uljens skoldidaktiska teori och modell är den teoretiska utgångspunkt som undersökningen är förankrad i och som resultatet analyseras genom. Studien visar främst att IT och värdegrund inte ses som ett fristående fenomen för den yrkesverksamma läraren, utan att IT integreras med det övriga värdegrundsarbetet.

The aim of the study is on basis of Peters and Waterman?s factor of success, to examine the successful companies, Ericsson and Huawei, and to analyze the R&D and positioning strategies of the companies.To accomplish the study we have used a case study using interviews and annual reports to collect data. Three persons have been interviewed, two from Ericsson and one from Huawei. All annual reports from the year 2004 until 2011 have been reviewed.Our finding is that Ericsson and Huawei do not, according to Peters and Waterman?s model, fulfill all factors of success and their R&D strategy varies depending on the situation and which knowledge the company already possesses and needs.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.
