This thesis evaluates the environmental performance of six different fish farming systems. The thesis is part of the network group ?Hållbar fiskförsörjning I Stockholms län? (HFFS) which tries to increase the domestic and regional production of fish in Stockholm and move to a more sustainable supply in the Stockholm county. Two of the chosen systems; pangasius from Vietnam and salmon from Norway are delivering a substantial part of the fish consumed in Stockholm today, although they are very different when it comes to system characteristics. One system, arctic char with conventional feed, is produced in a fairly small scale in the north of Sweden, while the three remaining systems are viewed upon as possible options to supply Stockholm with fish in the future.

This C-essay is a qualitative study designed to create a basis for understanding how managers involved in school affairs perceive the impact of merit points on students? chances to continue on to higher education and how this will affect individuals' life chances.The study is based on three interviews with managers involved in school affairs. In this paper grades, merit points and socioeconomic class differences are discussed.The aim of this paper is to answer the following questions:? What impact does merit points in language studies and the way different languages are valued, in the system, have for the individual and for society?? Who are the winners in the new grading system and who are the losers; how are different socioeconomic groups affected?The material was interpreted with the help of a report written by Ingrid Nordqvist and Monica Langerth Zetterman called "Secondary School competition field-a regional perspective", a paper written by Helen Raven who did a study on grades, national tests and social reproduction and the Frenchman Pierre Bourdieu's theories.The results show that class differences will increase and that it will be difficult to rise in the social hierarchy in the future..

Efter andra världskriget så har ett av de mer övergripande särdragen i det internationella systemetutgjorts utav framväxten av regionala - och internationella mellanstatliga integrationer. En avhuvudfrågorna inom det integrationsteoretiska forskningsområdet har handlat om att förklara vilkakrafter som får stater att sammansluta sig i politisk-ekonomiska konstellationer i likhet medEuropeiska Unionen. I början på 1990-talet kom en ny våg av integration att ta fart i Sydamerika,där Mercado Común del Sur (Mercosur) utgör en av de mer framgångsrika sammanslutningarna.Denna uppsats har ansatsen att klarlägga vad som driver stater i Sydamerika till att samarbeta ochingå avtal inom ramen för dessa politisk-ekonomiska organisationer. Där jag utifrån enhegemonisk stabilitetsteori undersöker vilka motiv som ligger till grund för bildandet avMercosur. Analysen omfattar tre olika aspekter som står i direkt koppling med det teoretiskaramverket.

Införandet av mål- och resultatstyrning tillhör de mest betydande förändringarna i den svenska statsförvaltningen under modern tid. Enligt regeringen är ett system för mål- och resultatstyrning det mest effektiva sättet att styra ett brett upplagt miljöarbete. Styrningen sker med hjälp av uppställda mål, miljökvalitetsmål, men vägen att nå dit bestäms inte i detalj utan kommuner, myndigheter, företag med flera ges stor frihet att välja hur man vill arbeta för att nå målen. Målstyrningen har visat sig ställa höga krav på målformulering, kommunikation och uppföljning och dess praktiska betydelse är livligt omdiskuterad. I studien genomförs en analys av de hinder och möjligheter som uppkommer i implementeringsarbetet av de svenska miljökvalitetsmålen.

Denna uppsats är en pilotstudie för Regionförbundet Östsam. Den syftar till att kritisera och testa en metod som behandlar serviceutbudet i tätorter inom Fjärde storstadsregionen. Denna metod bygger på att kartlägga utbudet, vikta detta enligt en poängmodell och sedan analysera resultatet och söka skapa en ortsklassificering. Metoden är tänkt vara ett verktyg i modern regionalplanering och kunna förbättra serviceutbudet i regionen. I studien har svensk regionalpolitiskt historia, centralorts- och nätverksteori använts för att visa på hur modern regionalplanering söker skapa samarbeten utifrån funktionella omland och inte genom administrativa områden.Det studien visar är att metoden står i förhållande till den politik som förs av dess användare.

The National Libraries task to save and preserve the national cultural heritage has turned to a new challenge in a digital world. The preservation of born-digital material for future use requires not only saving the digital object itself but also information about the object, preservation metadata. This is a relatively new issue and the library community has very little experience in this area. It has become evident that international cooperation is necessary to solve the task and that the development of international standards is of fundamental significance. This thesis investigates what has been done to meet the problems with the fast obsolescence of digital material with the focus on metadata.

Inledning: Sedan i november 2010 är revision för småföretag inte längre ett tvångenligt lag i Sverige. Marknaden för redovisnings- och revisionstjänster har dessutomutvecklats så att funktioner som tidigare endast revision kunde bidra med till ettföretag numera även kan erhållas genom redovisningstjänster. Det är såledesintressant att undersöka vad som påverkar småföretagen till det val av tjänst de gör.Problemformulering: Vilka faktorer påverkar småföretagens val av externaredovisnings- och revisionstjänster?Syfte: Syftet med studien är att kartlägga faktorer som påverkar småföretags val avredovisnings- och revisionstjänster.Metod: Studien är genomförd med en kvantitativ undersökningsmetod där detempiriska materialet har genererats genom en internetbaserad enkätundersökning.Deltagarna i enkätundersökningen består av småföretag i Sverige som valts ut genomett slumpmässigt urval.Resultat och slutsats: Studien påvisar att regional placering, anställda, ägarstruktur,omsättning och företagarens ålder är samtliga faktorer som enligt vår studie påvisarett samband med valet av redovisnings- och revisionstjänster. Av studiens resultat kanvi således konstatera att kontroll och verifierbarhet, samt gamla vanor ochförväntningar är samtliga viktiga omständigheter när företagaren står inför sitt val avexterna tjänster..

Invasive alien plant species have historically caused major damage to ecosystems and are considered to be amongst the greatest threats to biodiversity globally. The lurking threat of harm to well functioning ecosystems has led to the development of global and regional goals and regulations which seek to stop the spread of invasive species. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a list of species that are specifically harmful to the Swedish flora and fauna, which includes (amongst others) garden lupin. The management of invasive species is however largely dependent on local actions, making municipal public servants key players. This qualitative study uses interviews to investigate how municipal public servants who are responsible for managing invasive alien species view this work.

The disintegration of the Soviet Union was a vast experience, not solely for the former members and inhabitants of the Soviet Union, but also for the rest of the world. This thesis examines Estonia and Uzbekistan's different experience with transition. By examining three different aspects of transition I seek to explain Estonia and Uzbekistan's different outcome of transition. Estonia has since their independence been fully aware of the process that started with their independence. They have reformed both the political and economic system, the industry is privatized, institutions democratic and Estonia is today a member of the European Union.

The purpose of our study is to interpret and understand the collaborative process around a regional model that is based on state developed guidelines for people with dementia. We have chosen to focus on the importance of interaction and have therefore interviewed participants in the project's steering committee. This group participates in efforts to develop a model for dementia care in Halland.The project work in Halland, to develop a joint model for people with dementia and their families was initiated in the spring of 2011 and is due to finish at the end of 2012. The Halland model has been named ?Annas led? and is about Anna and her husband Lars and living with dementia.

During a time when the parents may need support, guidance and a sense of control ? the family might need to relocate to a hospital away from home if the child needs highly specialized medical care at a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the parents? experience of having to change neonatal care unit.

BackgroundResearch shows that the majority of patients feel anxiety before and during anesthesia. It has been shown in several studies that preoperative anxiety may cause adverse effects in the postoperative course. Nurse anesthetists have a key role in creating a safe environment and the opportunity to use different interventions to reduce the degree of anxiety.AimThe aim of the study was to examine which interventions may reduce anxiety in adult patients before and during both general, local and regional anesthesia.DesignSystematic literature review with a quantitative approach.ResultsSeveral studies indicate that gabapentin and pregabalin can reduce anxiety before and during anesthesia. The anxiety reducing effect appeared to be dose dependent. The naturopathic drugs Citrus aurantium blossom and Passiflora incarnata Linneaus were found to reduce anxiety before anesthesia.

The aim of this Bachelor´s thesis is to describe the phenomenon ofmarketing. Four public libraries in the County of Kalmar have beenstudied in the aim to obtain information on their current marketingin the autumn of 2004, as well as their view of marketing and itssignification in connection to a vision that the Regional Library inKalmar has established. The vision is that the County of Kalmar isgoing to be the best Region of Libraries in Sweden in the year of2010. Target markets for the vision is the general public, studentsand entrepreneurs. The study has done a landing at an early stage ofthe vision, the starting point of which was in the year of 2001.

The aim of this study was to investigate and analyze what is required for the environmental quality objective Good built environment to be fulfilled by 2020 in the Swedish county Jämtland. The focus of the study was to gain an understanding of the work that the local government does and further investigate the problems that the officials face with implement these questions in themunicipal planning.The study is based on semi structured interviews with officials in the municipalities of Jämtland county. General plan and programs for the municipality have been reviewed, based on how the plans highlights these issues linked to sustainability and Good built environment.The results of the study show that there are major problems with the formulations of the environmental quality goal in itself and its specifications. The environmental quality goal is formulated to suit the entire Sweden. But as it turns out in the analysis it does not work on the basis of the conditions inJämtland with sparsely populated areas and scattered dwellings.
