Purpose: The Swedish correctional service is on the brink of its biggest expansion in history, due to political investments related to battling a rise in gang related criminality. The purpose of this thesis is to exam and understand the strategic competence supply work from an employer perspective and investigate the elements included in the Swedish correctional service competence supply form a regional perspective. The study specifically focus on what strategies the Swedish correctional service employ to attract, recruit, develop and retain workforce. Theory: The theoretical framework of the study includes among others, a model divided into three different phases (within, in and out) within competence supply, the demand-control-support model, push and pull factors, as well as the two-factor theory. Method: This study has a qualitative approach with semi structured interview as its specific method. A total of seven interviews were conducted with personnel within the swedish correctional service. Results: The main challenges are related to recruitment, staff retention, support of managers, and the fact that many correctional officers do not have time to complete their training before leaving. The latter is particularly significant are of concern.

Management consulting firms are an important part of the knowledge economy and they capitalize on the analytical ability and knowledge of their employees. Much research have been made on large consulting firms and their management of knowledge, but little is known about how small consultancies manage their knowledge. Even less is known about the management of knowledge in small consultancies specialized in change management. These firms rely solely on senior consultants and focus on the human aspect of organizational development. This thesis aims to show how these firms manage their knowledge and also provide an understanding of why.

The purpose of this study has been to describe and analyze how former foster children experienced foster care which have been filled with maltreatment and neglect and how this has influenced their adult life when it comes to health, education and relationships. We also wanted to study how the former foster children coped with their placement. Furthermore we wanted to study whether there has been any turningpoints during their growth. Finally we wanted to describe how the former foster children experienced the authorities control. To make the purpose of this study complete we chose to use qualitative interviews with six former foster children as our research method.

Regionala flygplatser har idag svårt att nå lönsamhet enbart baserat på trafikavgifter från flygbolagen. För att få bukt med detta problem behöver flygplatserna få inkomster från andra delar av flygplatsens komplexa verksamhet. Vi har därför fått i uppdrag av Luftfartsverket att undersöka om regionala flygplatser framgångsrikt kan arbeta med att skapa lojalitet hos sina resenärer vilket kan vara en tänkbar utväg för att öka inkomsterna. Vår frågeställning är därför: Hur ser en regional flygplats förutsättningar och strategiska möjligheter ut för att göra resenärer lojala? För att besvara denna frågeställning har vi studerat befintlig litteratur som berör flygbranschen och lojalitet.

Av intresse är hur fotbollen format platskänslan på orten, och hur detta ger sig till känna i kommunala strategier och visioner. Degerfors är fortfarande en bruksort, där den lokala arbetsmarknaden och ekonomin är starkt beroende av ett stort industriellt företag. Huruvida en så kallad bruksanda finns att hävda, och i så fall hur denna är möjlig att relatera till fotbollen på orten är en central diskussion i uppsatsen. Den teoretiska förankringen vilar i den humanistiska geografin, och verk från bland andra Tuan, Relph och Buttimer.

DDGS from wheat has a high crude protein content and a good amino acid profile, which makes it an interesting feed ingredient for poultry. The disadvantage of feeding DDGS from wheat to poultry is that it also contains a high fiber content that chickens don?t have the ability to break down. Gender theory based upon R.W. Connell?s theoretical framework which discusses masculinities in plural is used.
