NMD 100 is a notes and media dispensing machine, manufactured by De La Rue Ltd, located in Flen, Sweden. The customers, mainly bank offices, have expressed a need for a more comprehensive description of errors occurring from time to time in their machines. In order to acquire a BSc-degree in Computer and Electronics Technology at the University of Linköping I have carried out a diploma work, regarding new computer programs to fulfil the customers? wishes. The machine NMD 100 is connected to its PC through handshaking.

Innovation has been identified as one of the key factors for economic growth long ago. However, the emergence of ?knowledge century? further strengthened the role of the concept since proper management of the knowledge is essential to make the best out of the innovative capacity of the companies as well as the countries. This necessitates a balanced intellectual property rights (IPR) systems, since these rights provide the basis to solve the market failures faced by innovating firms by creating property rights over knowledge. There is an inherent dilemma between invention and diffusion.

This essay examines whether, and if so to which extent, the project Export MatureDestination in the Biosphere Reserve Vänerskärgården with Kinnekulle can combine the goalof the tourism industry, i.e. to double tourism between 2010 and 2020, and the goals of theBiosphere reserve, i.e. sustainable societal development and a sustainable biosphere economy.The aim is to examine how key individuals in the project approach sustainable developmentand economic growth, representing the two main interests in the area. Examining the state ofthe two interests the following examples are used: the position of sustainable development inregard to economic growth, the opportunities and challenges in the area and unity concerningthe goals of the tourism development in the region. The study is conducted through qualitativeinterviews with key individuals and a descriptive document analysis of the most importantpolicy documents.

This essay focuses on the Sweden Democrat?s migration policy and its evolution from 1989 up until today. The purpose of this study is to longitudinally examine the party's migration policy proposals to see if, and how, the political ideas have changed over time. Idea analysis has been used as method, and the texts have been analyzed by using three dimensions. Depending on the outcome in the three dimensions, one out of eight political types is possible.

The purpose of the research is to find out how the teacher of the pre-school looks at the value of the nature Pre-school. To get an understanding of what the nature pre-school enviorment can bring, we are talking about learning, knowledge, and experience combined with the everyday lessons learned from the natural world. The research is a stepping stone on the pre-school teacher?s thoughts and reflections of what a nature pre-school is. This is grounded in a view of how having options for alternative schools lead to wider research, and all conclusions where formed after multiple interviews and analysis.The results showed that the teachers involved are very positive to the nature pre-school environment and learning process.

Inom den regionala utvecklingen har ekonomisk tillväxt fått en allt större roll, fler och flerregioner arbetar efter att sträva en så hög ekonomiskt tillväxt som möjligt. Men i och meddetta så skapas en geografiskt differentierad utveckling där de områden som genererar tillväxtanses har starka utvecklingsmöjligheter medan de områden som inte alls genererar likamycket riskerar att hamna efter och bli outvecklade. Detta är något som kan ses i Värmlanddär Karlstadsregionen utvecklas medan de svagare delarna av länet, så somlandsbygdsområdena inte alls har lika stort fokus på sig inom det regionalautvecklingsarbetet. En lösning på detta kan vara att arbeta fram en inkluderande tillväxt därdet inte bara handlar om de ekonomiska värden utan även inkluderar sociala faktorer.Syftet med min studie är därför att lyfta fram och belysa frågor som rör inkluderande tillväxtpå regional nivå med Värmland som fallstudie. Syftet är även att undersöka hur en merinkluderad tillväxt kan arbetas in den regionala kontexten, samt se hur det regionalaperspektivet och utvecklingsarbetet i Värmland kan påverkas av detta.

The amount of television entertainment of the character ?reality program series? has increased on Swedish television, because of this it could be generally considered that television entertainment is in a ?reality series era?. In recent years so called ?work soaps? have become very popular. This is a television series, where through the TV screen; we have the possibility to view ordinary people in their daily lives and often dramatic work.

Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt är att göra en utvärdering över de mekanismer som är viktiga vid tumörmetastasers nybildning av kärl s.k. angiogenes och med vilka metoder man kan hindra dem. Tumörceller som prolifererar ohämmat utan att stimulera angiogenes begränsas av brist på näring och ineffektiv bortförsel av slaggprodukter och kan därför sällan växa och bli större än cirka 1mm. Detta medför att även om det kliniskt finns många små metastaser i en patient så innebär det sällan något problem för patienten. Om tumörcellerna däremot muterar så att de kan stimulera angiogenes så tillåts tumörerna växa sig större och förstör då kringliggande vävnad vilket tillslut resulterar i patientens död. Mycket forskning görs i nuläget inom ämnesområdet och man har som mål att med hjälp av angiogeneshämmare göra cancer till en kronisk men hanterbar sjukdom istället för den sjukdom med dödlig utgång som den ofta är idag. Den första angiogeneshämmaren som godkändes för medicinskt bruk i USA var Avastin (Bevacizumab) som är en antikropp som binder till och oskadliggör vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), vilket är en av de faktorer som stimulerar angiogenes. Detta får som följd att de tumörer (60 % av alla humana) som uttrycker denna faktor hämmas i sin tillväxt.

Costs of maintenance on agriculture machines is something that many farmers has a low knowledge of, it can depend on low interest or that the farmer don?t have enough time. To make it easier for the farmers they can use many computer programs which are available on the market. In this program they can calculate their costs of maintaince on their agriculture machines, for example STANK and JTI machine calculation program. Most of this program is using Svensson (1987) costs model whish was made in Sweden in the middle of 80 decade in a large study.

A sample of milk inoculated with S. aureus was treated with penicillin, and Antipen (a new commercial product containing penicillinase) was added. To another sample with S. aureus and penicillin, formic acid to pH 5 was added, and to yet another sample, a combination of formic acid and Antipen was added. Controls with no penicillin were treated in the same way.

There are several factors influencing the profitability of production with sheep. Two of the most important factors are ewe fertility and lamb survival. Also growth capacity of the lambs is important. This paper aims to review correlations between the ewe?s fertility and maternal behavior and lamb survival.

The purpose of this study was to, using statistical analysis, investigate to what extent families of a different cultural background have participated in family therapy and other family treatment programs at Familjeenheten in Lund. With questions regarding the goals of treatment, and the importance of cultural competence in the treatment process we have let two unit managers comment on the statistics. The population of the study is too small to allow general conclusions to be drawn, however, we have been able to ascertain that families of a different background are over-represented relative to their percentage of Lund´s population. Familjeenheten has no statistical record of ethnicity and the interviewed persons express no certain importance in the families´ cultural origins. They express no need to develop special treatment methods that take the clients´ cultural background in regard as they feel that so many of family issues are universal.

Den svenska länsindelningen härstammar från 1600-talet och få förändringar har skett sedan dess, trots att debatten varit häftig. Krav på förändringar av länsindelningarna har ofta ställts, ofta med anspråk på att göra dessa större. Ett stort antal statliga utredningar har under årens lopp behandlat frågan. Jag har i denna uppsats undersökt fem statliga utredningar under 1990- och 2000-talet, dels utifrån vilka förslag man kommit med, dels hur medborgarnas möjlighet till effektivt beslutsfattande och systemens kapacitet att tillgodose medborgarnas önskemål har behandlats i utredningarna. Med hjälp av Robert A.

Studien ger en bild av hur tjänstemän på regional och lokal nivå ser på miljömålsarbetet. Syftet med studien har varit att skapa en förståelse för hur tjänstemän, som aktivt arbetar med miljömålen på en länsstyrelse och en kommun, uppfattar miljömålsarbetet och vilka faktorer som de anser är viktiga för ett lyckat miljömålsarbete. Studien baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer med sju tjänstemän från en länsstyrelse och en kommun. Fokus har legat på de intervjuade tjänstemännens syn på åtgärdsarbetet på den egna myndigheten. De problem som verkar vara mest centrala för intervjupersonerna i miljömålsarbetet är resursbrist, att det saknas politisk förankring, att inte tillräckligt många olika aktörer är delaktiga i arbetet, att det är ett brett område och att det är svårt att integrera miljömålen i myndigheternas ordinarie verksamhet.

Since 1979 when homosexuality no longer was classified as an illness the Swedish authorities have been working on increasing the LGBTQ community?s rights and living conditions. How is this work reflected within the Cultural heritage sector, especially since the adoption of Agenda 2030. The purpose and goal of this study is to examine whether the cultural heritage sector actively works to include the LGBTQ perspective in their preservation work by using a quantitative method. Through a document analysis and a survey, it examines this on a national, regional and local level within ?sterg?tland county and its 13 municipalities. The study shows that at a national level there are no specific strategies for working inclusively with an LGBTQ perspective in cultural heritage, however, there is almost always a general level where concepts such as equality, gender equality, inclusion and intersectionality are mentioned.
