Since the down of archaeology much of the resurges has focused on graves andgrave materials. This essay is an attempt to interpret a grave material to the society of the living, to investigate what a megalithic grave material can tell us about the society that made them and the people that were buried in them. The study is focused upon two megalithic graves in Löderup; Ramshög and Carlshög. A study of the bone materiel, building construction and building material at Ramshög and Carlshög is done and then compared with different theories that are made of Ramshög and Carlshög and of other megalithic graves. By studying different theories of megalithic graves and comparing these with Ramshög and Carlshög I have tried to evaluate which ones that are relevant in this case.The megalithic graves primarily shows some kind of change, in society or in their way of looking at the dead or the life after this.

The aim of this thesis was twofold, on the one hand to compile a set of usability and accessibility guidelines in order to establish the characteristics of a user friendly website, and on the other to test these guidelines on eight library webcourses with user education to see how well they adhered to the guidelines. The methods used were literature survey and source studies. The guidelines found in the literature survey were divided into four different categories: document properties, structure and navigability, visual characteristics and accessibility. In order to establish the adequacy of the guidelines, I examined reference sources, mostly on the web. To a certain extent this examination has been based on HCI Human-Computer interaction theories.

The main project Dry preservation of source-separated organic household wastes involves a new technique for treatment of biowaste through drying. Investigations are going on to determine how the dried biowaste best can be used to close the natural circular flow of nutrients. The objective of this degree project is to determine if the dried biowaste can be used as a soil conditioner. By restoring the nutrients in the material to the ground, the natural circular flow is closed. A declaration of contents, including the nutrient levels, C/N ratio, pH and the electrical conductivity of the dried biowaste, was constructed and a germination test was done to make sure that the material did not inhibit sprouting.

Is accountability possible in global environmental governance? The purpose ofthis thesis is to examine if accountability is possible in global environmental governance. From an accountability perspective the thesis tries to illuminate global environmental governance. An investigation about the conceptaccountability is made and the thesis also illuminates the possible problems that exist in global environmental governance which exist of such a large amounts of different and often private actors. By investigating and examine the concept of accountability from different aspects and by using Global Compact as a example of global environmental governance the thesis try to answer if accountability actually exist in global environmental governance and in what way it is possible to demand accountability.

In this paper I have focused on the underlying reasons for people and piracy. The paper starts with a presentation of the Swedish laws of copyright as they are constituted today and the new law that is supposedly being ordained the 1st of July, 2005, a brief summary of what its effects will be for the people, according to the authorities and the critisism that has developed around it from the net-pirats. Then follows a definition of the expression "norms" and what it means here in my paper.Now comes a presentation of the research I have been doing, in the form of a survey concerning why and how often people download copyrighted material from the net, and if they have ever sold any pirated copies to more than selfprice and, if so, to whom. The presentations shows that the majority of the people that are downloading copyrighted material from the Internet is doing it for the own personal use and not to make any money out of selling the material on, since most people consider it unfair to charge for something that they have got for free.The survey also shows that many of those who download copyrighted material also upload it because it gives them a satisfactory feeling of giving something in order to get something. The survey also shows that although most of the people taking the survey knows what the new law means it has not affected them in anyway.

Det här arbetet undersöker landskapsrepresentation med fokus på stora landskap. Under en resa längsmed transsibiriska järnvägen har vi, med hjälp av olika dokumentationstekniker, samlat in material i syfte att utforska för oss oprövade sätt att representera stora landskap. En metod för representation som skapar överblick och samtidigt fångar den mänskliga upplevelsen av landskapet eftersöks. Insamlingen som handling har varit central för projektet och det material som ligger till grund för arbetet är i huvudsak vårt egeninsamlade material från resan. Två olika förhållningssätt till insamlingen av material har tillämpats, ett intuitivt och ett utifrån förutbestämda regler. Inledningsvis för vi en teoretisk diskussion som problematiserar representation av stora landskap.

SUMMARYInventory of raw materials holds an important role in companies within the manufacturingsector. The inventory works as a buffer that secure the supply of materials to the productionunit. The aim of the inventory is to ensure that the company is able to meet the customers?demands despite fluctuations and variations in the material flow. The size of the warehouseand the layout are physical limitations for the quantity of articles that can be stored.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how Swedish highereducation librarians mediate discovery tools to its users. Thisstudy aims to investigate higher education librarians? generalattitudes towards discovery tools, their perception ofstudents? discovery tool usage, and how they mediatediscovery tools to students through reference interviews anduser training. The empirical ground of this study is a semistructuredsurvey that was answered by 115 instructinglibrarians. The study concludes that although librariansgenerally have a critical attitude towards discovery tools theyalso think that the discovery tools serve a useful purpose,especially as a starting point in the information searchprocess.

This is a case study of the planning and building of a new IT education facility when thedepartment of Media Technologymoved its operation to Flemingsberg and the main campus, due tothe termination of Campus Haninge at Södertörn University, Stockholm, Sweden. The study isbased on a case study an on administrative material from the process such as emailscorrespondences, policy documents, contact reports etc. The material is analysed using qualitativecontent analysis and the different observations done are distilled into four recommendations,aimed at being able to contribute to a improved process in similar future situations, whereverneeded..

This essay is about the burial rites in the passage graves of Falbygden, Västergötland. My questions were: Can the burial ritual be understood by comparing the material culture inside and outside the tombs? What kind of grave offerings did the dead have? Most peculiar are all these beads of amber, what kind of meaning did they have? Was the position of the body a part of the ritual? The time period is the middle Neolithic.I selected four passage graves to investigate: Hjälmars rör (Falköping 3), Rössberga (Valtorp 2), Näs sn 7:2 Kvättak 5:1 and Frälsegården (Gökhem 94).My conclusion was that there are differences between the material culture inside and outside the tombs. Outside the ritual includes fire, inside the material culture are not burned. The material culture outside is more dominant than the finds inside, although the beads of amber are only represented inside and dominates the findings inside.

Att lärare utför merparten av arbetet i relation till andra människor kan tänkas skapa särskilda villkor för arbetet. Artikeln avses att belysa användbarheten hos artikelns fyra empiriska material vid studier av relationsarbetets villkor. Särskilt intresse ägnas åt organiseringen av de delar av arbetet som innefattar en lärare-elev-relation. Materialen omfattar tretton lärare inom specialpedagogisk verksamhet från grundskolans tidigare år till gymnasieskolan. Analysbegreppen är kommunikation, notistagande samt aspekterna avsikt, tid och rum.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka pedagogers uppfattningar kring ett arbete med Balthazarlådan som ett färdigdefinierat material innehållande enkla kemiska experiment. Det färdigdefinierade materialet, Balthazarlådan innehåller experiment om vattnets aggregationsformer och ytspänning, material till experimenten samt förklaringar till experimenten. Genom individuella semistrukturerade intervjuer så har svar på följande frågor sökts: Vilka tankar har pedagoger kring att arbeta med ett färdigdefinierat material, en låda med enkla kemiska experiment? Vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar upplever pedagoger med att arbeta utifrån ett färdigdefinierat material i förskolan? Vilka tankar har pedagoger om det färdigdefinierade materialet som en inspirationskälla kring arbetet med kemi i förskolans verksamhet? Resultatet visar att pedagogerna har arbetat med Balthazarlådan på olika sätt, antingen genom barnens intressen eller för att få barnen intresserade av kemi. Alla pedagogerna ser många fördelar att arbeta med kemi i verksamheten utifrån Balthazarlådan.

Syftet med studien var, att på uppdrag av Ankarsrum Assistent AB, dels välja ett nytt material som ersättning till Polykarbonat i deras mixerkanna, dels undersöka om det går att minska längden på mixerknivens blad för att förebygga överbelastning av köksassistenten. De två frågeställningar som projektet bygger på var: Vilket material är bäst lämpat att efterträda Polykarbonat i Ankarsrum Assistents mixerkanna? Den andra frågan var: Kommer en minskning av mixerknivens blad kunna minska tiden, innan överbelastningsskyddet stänger av maskinen, utan att försämra resultatet?För att få en grundförståelse för mixerkannor och vad de förväntas klara skapades en områdesanalys som senare användes för att sätta upp material- och knivtester. Områdesanalysen användes även som grund till en kravspecifikation. Aktuella plaster och dess egenskaper sammanställdes i en materialöversikt.

För att behålla kroppens fungerande temperatur vid utövande av aktivitet krävs träningskläder i ett material som kan transportera fukten från kroppen och samtidigt minimera ansamlingen av vätska på huden. Utvecklingen av nya material med förbättrade funktioner går ständigt framåt. I denna rapport har olika fibrer jämförts för att kunna komma fram till vilket material samt passform och varukonstruktion som lämpar sig i ett underställ avsett för män vid utövande av medelhög vinteraktivitet. Resultatet skall ligga till grund för en produktutveckling av ett underställ åt företaget Salming Outdoor. Grunden lades genom en utförlig materialinsamling där artiklar och litteratur inom ämnet granskades.

The Swedish Textile industry has since the beginning of the 70-ties moved their production to countries with cheap labour further and further away. The production in the Baltic countries and Asia has become reality for many Swedish manufacturing companies. With today?s technology the communication with remote countries has ceased to be a problem. The difficulties have instead turned out to be more focused on transportation of goods and just in time deliveries to Sweden.
