Vårt syfte med detta examensarbete är att skapa ett egentillverkat studiehäfte för elever med svenska som andraspråk. Genom egna erfarenheter och möten med lärare har vi fått veta att det inte finns mycket färdigt material för dessa. Vår tanke är att den ska ge eleven chansen att lära sig om sitt nya land genom att se på skillnader och likheter mellan detta och hemlandet. Då vi framställt häftet ville vi se om läromedlet levde upp till våra förväntningar. Vi skickade ut delar av vårt material till tre lärare för varsin förberedelseklass i Skåne, med elever i olika åldrar. Responsen var mestadels positiv och lärarna upplevde motivation och entusiasm hos eleverna..

When SKL (Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science) gets images to analyse, the task often is to identify a person or an object. In that work it?s important to find features. Unfortunately images from camera surveillances often contain a lot of noise, so details can be hard to discern.A simple method to improve an image from a sequence is to compute the mean of some of the images. However, the part of interest in the image has to be in the same position in all images.

In this qualitative study of students? methods of calculating subtractions, I have used interviews, subtraction exercises and analysis of teaching material. The purpose of my study was to explore which methods students in grade three uses when calculating subtractions. I also wanted to highlight which strategies the students use and their comprehension of the concept of subtraction. In the study, I also highlight the different pedagogical ideas on which the teaching material is based on and the students? choice of methods.  The study shows that the students choose to use the methods?deduct? and ?kind of number? independently.

Att använda laborativt material ger eleverna möjlighet att uttrycka sina kunskaper på ett annat sätt än i ett traditionellt arbetssätt. Det laborativa materialet är av stor betydelse då eleverna på olika sätt kan uttrycka kunskap med hjälp av materialet. Detta är en aktionsforskningsstudie gjord på två skolor i södra Sverige. Syftet med studien är att bidra med kunskap om hur elevers förmågor i matematik kan synliggöras för bedömning. Syftet växte fram genom det utvecklingsbehov som identifierades på våra VFU-skolor.

The thesis work of 15 credits has been performed to interest of Norrtälje ElektronikPartner AB (NEP) in Norrtälje. The aim of the thesis was to develop a prototype for an integrated digital multimeter, designed for one of NEP's proprietary test systems. A digital multimeter module according to NEP's requirement specification, such as physical size and accuracy should be constructed. The module should be able to measure current, voltage and resistance.The final circuit was based on the chosen analog to digital-converter, Maxim integrated´s Max134, which is the main component of the circuit for this instrument. A circuit diagram and PCB layout were made. The result of this project is a constructed DMM board.

This master of economics paper discuss that the globalization has lead to increasing internationalization among small Swedish IT- companies in the service sector. Sweden has a long history of foreign trade but in the beginning of the industrialization only large companies that produced goods answered for the foreign trade. Before, the Swedish companies begun their operations abroad in fairly nearby markets and only gradually penetrated far-flung countries. Now this is no longer possible. When small companies nowadays seek growth in other countries there is no time internationalize with the same approaches as before, especially when the company offers a service.

No matter what subject or which grade you are active in, the teachers in Sweden have incommon that they are provided with governing documents that states the guidelines and goalsregarding each subject. Along with these governing documents every teacher has to findmaterial that will be used as the foundation of the teaching. This thesis is a study of howSwedish history teachers define what material they are going to use in their teaching, andwhich the factors are that is affecting these choices. The question whether a child?s ethnicaland cultural background is a factor that affects this choice of material is concerned, as well aswhat is current in Sweden and the world.

Deta examensarbete undersöker slitaget i Växjöbostäders studentlägenheter genom att genomföra en enkätundersökning och att göra ekonomiska bedömningar av material för ytskikt.De ekonomiska bedömningarna görs med hjälp av livscykelanalys (LCC) och de material som analyserades var golv, väggbeklädnad och bänkskiva.Examensarbetet undersöker också andra faktorer som kan påverka slitage. .

This study investigates augmented reality using third person perspective and what precision can be achieved by using this method. There have been prior studies in regards to precision using augmented reality, however studies using third person perspective is scarce. This study presents a solution using a static camera capturing the user as well as the plane to augment from behind. This augmented image is then transferred to a handheld device that is held by the user. Using this method the user will be free to manipulate and work with the plane without removing the device that captures the scene, a common problem when using visual reference markers in augmented reality.

KSL Trading Inc is a trading company in the Jönkoping area that distributesmaterial for the furniture and interior design industry.The purpose of this report is to analyze the existing material flow andwarehouse layout as well as to identify the issues there are today at KSL?swarehouse for board material. When we identified what kind of problems thatexisted we were able to design a new plan for the material flow and storagepossibilities. The problems we found where:? There is no well-organised warehouse layout? There are no routines to keep the warehouse clean and in order? Abstract The purpose of this degree project is to examine what impact working with physical objects has on children?s learning process concerning addition. We want to explore what addition strategies can be exercised using the game ?Twice as much?. We have observed children in school year 1.

Denna undersökning belyser materialet, dess placering och användning i förskolan. Studien är genomförd ur ett lärarperspektiv för att ge en förståelse hur material bör placeras för att ge barnen i förskolan tillgång till det material som finns där. Vidare undersöker studien pedagogernas användning av materialet i arbetet med barnen i förskolan och pedagogers uppfattning om dess placering och tillgänglighet. Syftet har varit att undersöka hur pedagoger i arbetet med barnen använder materialet i förskolan och hur det är placerat. Vidare har syftet varit att undersöka om det finns idéer kring materialets placering och om dessa har diskuterats bland pedagogerna. Som metod för denna undersökning har intervjuer av ett arbetslag använts som underlag. Detta för att se om idéer kring materialets betydelse förekommer hos pedagogerna och för att undersöka hur det placeras. En slutsats av undersökningen visar att en viss diskussion kring materialet och dess placering verkar förekomma hos pedagogerna sinsemellan.

This study aims to describe how a company behind a well-established brand in the fashion industry has strategically chosen to communicate with their target market. Interviews with four individuals in different positions within the company have generated qualitative data, which is presented and analyzed in relation to the theoretical frame of reference in this study. The results show that the company does not use conventional marketing, but relies rather on marketing based word-of-mouth generated by its customer base due to its unique store concepts. Previous research has shown that this type of marketing strategy is effective and beneficial to the brand equity, a conclusion that is demonstrated to also apply to the survey object of this study. Furthermore, it is also shown that this is largely due to the distinct and coordinated image that the company maintains through strict standardization..

When a helicopter is flying, the dynamics vary depending on, for example, speed and position. Hence, a time-invariant linear model cannot describe its properties under all flight conditions. It is therefore desirable to update the linear helicopter model continuously during the flight. In this thesis, two different recursive estimation methods are presented, LMS (Least Mean Square) and adaptation with a Kalman filter. The main purpose of the system estimation is to get a model which can be used for feedback control.
