Denna rapport undersöker om olika gestaltningar av rumsklang ger högre gradperceptuellt Realism med en visuell referens. Undersökningen baseras på denforskning inom rumsklang och perception av dessa som skett tidigare. I dessa fall utanen visuell referens. I detta fall undersöks gestaltningen som ges av konvolutionsreverb,fördröjningsnätsreverb och en kombination av dessa. För att undersöka detta skapadestre videoklipp med samma bild och samma ljudeffekter med skillnad i denreverbteknik som användes.

Simulatorer används för utbildning, forskning och utveckling och det område där simulering troligen haft störst betydelse i modern tid är flygutbildning. En simulator är kostnadseffektiv och utsätter inte eleven för de risker som är förknippat med flygning och kan helt eller delvis ersätta utbildning på verkliga flygplan. Hur mycket flygtid som en simulatorutbildning kan ersätta är beroende av simulatorns Realism. Syftet med studien var att fördjupa sig i simulering som utbildningsverktyg samt kartlägga användandet av flygsimulatorer vid flygskolor och simulatorinstruktörernas uppfattning om Realism i simuleringen. Med kartläggningen kan man bilda sig en uppfattning hur utveckling i informatik i form av förbättrad Realism och val av lämplig nivå av Realism har bidragit till dagens pilotutbildning i Sverige.

Since the abrupt ending of the Cold Wars the international system of politics has been dominated by the unipolar United States. The thesis examined whether there is a distinct boundary between art and advertising. The collected data showed how art and advertising are linked to each other and also differ from each other, in particular through the latter half of the 1900?s. What was happening in society came to have great impact on what happened in art and advertising. Driving simulators are a very important part of the research that is done at VTI. This thesis explores the conditions of painting artists in the former GDR. The conclusion after studying rather many artists excepted paintings is, that they had a very personal style within the figuration, considering the official prescription of Social Realism. The main objective for the study is common motives and changes over time. It showed a development against greater freedom in expression. A closer analyse of one painter´s work (Susanne Kandt-Horn) and of the exhibitions in Rostock Art Museum during the 80´s illustrates the circumstances under which the artists lived..

Studien analyserar försvarsbeslutspropositioner mellan åren 1995 och 2009 och beskriver svensk militär alliansfrihet ur ett säkerhetsgemenskapsperspektiv. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka möjlighetsvillkoren för barns karnevaliska lekar och subjektskapande i förskolan. Studien är kvalitativ med avseende på insamlingmetod och utgår från det postshumanistiska perspektivet agentisk Realism. Studiens empiri har samlats in med hjälp av videoobservationer och fältanteckningar. In the ever increasing media clutter it is hard for marketers to make their products stand out. New ways of reaching consumers are constantly arising. This study seeks to further investigate the phenomenon known as product placement, delimited to movies/television. By conducting an experiment we tested whether different presumptions matters for what effect a product placement will have on attitude and if these could be affected. We also looked at if the level of product integration effect attitude and Realism enhancement.

The aim of this study is to increase the understanding of the causes of the first war between Russia and Chechnya. Empirical data consists of four half-structured interviews with former Russian and Chechen war participants that tell about their perspective of the causes of the war between Russia and Chechnya. The study used narrative method and the theoretical framework consists of International Relations theories such as Realism, Geopolitics, Liberalism and Marxism. Geopolitics sees the geostrategic interest, territory as a cause of war. According to Realism warfare occurs because of the state?s endeavor after power and influence in term of territory.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse how work by Swedish artist Ylva Ogland (born in 1974) function as an eye-opener for the social marginalisation of people identified with homosexuality, prostitution and drug addiction. Although highly present in reality, these phenomena were historically, and are still today, hidden from view in public discourse. I have focused on the installations Rapture and Silence and Things Seen, and the still-life painting called Xenia. I argue that these artworks carefully represent the above-mentioned marginalised groups, by way of references to comparable motives in the history of art, from neoclassicism in France, to Realism and romanticism..

AbstractEn förklaring till Irakkriget tror vi inte kan finnas i vare sig retoriken eller i påståendet om att det var ett folkrättsligt legalt internationellt sanktionerat krig. Detta är en teoriprövande studie där de två teoretiska perspektiven i statsvetenskaplig internationell politik; Marxism och Realism undersöks, vi vill se om de bättre kan förklara varför USA invaderade Irak. Huvudproblemet i uppsatsen är att identifiera orsakerna till varför Irakkriget blev ett faktum. Vi går i b-uppsatsen igenom olika perspektiv inom respektive skola och redogör i kortfattade drag för dess synsätt. Vi har samlat in material både om Irakkriget i sig och om de teorier vi vill pröva.
