IntroductionIn this study, we have explained the complexities of social media, as it is still a relatively unexplored area. With the rapidly growing use of social media in recent years, companies have chosen to establish themselves in social networks to advertise themselves and communicate with their customers. In this study we analyze IKEA Sweden and their use of social media on the national market, where focus lies upon IKEA Sweden Facebook-page. The study intends to find out how the company uses social media as a marketing and communication tool and also analyzes the relations and conversations that occur on the Facebook-page. Purpose and research questionsThe purpose of the study was to gain a deeper understanding of how a large Swedish company as IKEA has chosen to use social media and how it's perceived by them. We also intended to find out how IKEA Sweden uses social media in their daily work and how the company communicates through this media channel.

I detta arbete undersöks skillnaden mellan skapandet av tooniga kontra realistiska texturer för polygonmodeller till datorspel. För att alls kunna undersöka detta har jag först fått ta reda på vad som faktiskt gör en grafisk stil toonig. Detta, har jag kommit fram till, är om det som avbildats dels blivit förenklat och även stiliserat (det vill säga ikoniskt abstraherat och även expressionistiskt abstraherat). Det som definierat en realistisk stil har jag låtit vara något som påminner om sådant som kan ses i foton. Jag har sedan åt fyra olika digitala 3D-modeller skapat texturer i två olika grafiska stilar: toonig och realistisk.

Detta är en studie riktad mot hållbarhetsarbete i förskolan. Syftet med studien är att undersöka barns intraaktioner i återbrukande praktiker och med återbruksmaterial, vilket har genomförts genom analys av tidigare forskning kring ämnet samt analys av empiriskt material insamlat på en Grön Flagg-förskola i Stockholm. Studien har en kvalitativ etnografisk ansats med fotografier, observationer och gåturer som insamlingsmetoder. Det insamlade materialet har sedan analyserats med hjälp en materiell-diskursiv analysmetod, som grundar sig i Barads agentiskt realistiska teoribildning. I denna studie påvisas materialiteters och diskursers ömsesidiga påverkan på hur fenomen skapas ? i detta fall hur fenomenet barn som främjare för hållbar utveckling blir till.

This study aims to examine play as a phenomena from a phenomenological approach. This I do by discussing a dominant approach to play, an perspective which is reproduced in the context of pre-school and in where the play and learning is in single focus. Using alternative perspective on play, mainly by Gadamer and Bakthtins philosophical thoughts about the feast or the carnival, contents differ significantly from educational or developmental psychology perspectives. I open up for an understanding of what play as ontology can be understood as, and thereby enable second readings. I illustrate this thought by an empirical example from a pre-school context which where created alongside with the children in the study.

This essay deals with the support and help offered to elderly people over 65 with mental disabilities out of personnel from a special support team. We have chosen to use the qualitative method to answer our questions. We have four semi-structured interviews with all staff from the support team we have been in contact with, three nurses/nursing assistants and project manager for the support team. We have recognized five themes and divided the text into six different categories and disciplines that answers and highlights the importance of meeting clients' needs, increase their independence and quality of life. Our theme is security, continuity, time, treatment and relations.

För att förbättra situationen för bland annat squatters, hölls 1996 en FN-konferens, Habitat II.Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa problemet med squatting och undersöker om Habitat II:s beslut haft någon inverkan på det deltagande landet Sydafrika. Den teoretiska ansatsen är realism och managerialism, där man menar att bostadssegregation beror på sociala och rumsliga hinder, samt att det är de med makt som ansvarar för bostadsituationen. De dokument från Habitat II har studerats som berör squatters samt sydafrikanska bostadspolitiska dokument.

The purpose with this study has been, based on different public and private procurement conditions, to measure if there are any significant differences in the business relations between public- and private institutional kitchens. Furthermore, to observe what important influencing factors there are to maintain and develop a relationship between a producer and customer. The result of the analysis shows that there are important factors that influences on the trust in the relationship between a producer and customer. These factors are product- and service exchange, communication, strategic purchase and social exchange. In this examination we have showed that there are differences in the relationship between public- and private customers.

In this thesis we have tried to show the problems that the categorisation of ?norrlänningar? generates. We have also tried to describe what the stereotypes of ?norrlänningar? are by examining what people say on web logs. The method we have used to find the stereotypes in our empirical material is the discourse analyse.

Through performativity and narrative theories I analyze narrations and characterization in the text and in the play.

This qualitative case study, made with four companies, looks closer at how more effective information management, with the help of IT-systems, affect companies market communication and relations to customers and suppliers. Customer Relationship Management perspective is used and Enterprise Resource Planning-systems are the ground for new technology change. The main conclusions are that new technology affects the outcome of companies? relationships towards their customers and suppliers and that the processes and activities between the involved parties are more closely linked. Also involving your suppliers and external actors makes the information handling more effective and companies that do so most likely have a competitive advantage..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att mot bakgrund av betydelsen av etik och gott rykte inom konsultbranschen undersöka hur konsultföretaget Accenture arbetar med sin etiska kod för att den skall efterlevas av de anställda inom organisationen. Vi har även valt att undersöka vilka utmaningarsom företaget möter och hur dessa påverkar efterlevnaden av koden. För att genomföra detta har vi utifrån tidigare studier av etiska koder konstruerat en modell som ligger till grund för vårt insamlade empiriska material, vår analys samt slutsats. En deduktiv fallstudie bestående av fem stycken kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med anställda inom Accenture.Vår studie indikerar att Accenture har lyckats väl med implementeringen och upprätthållandet av sin etiska kod inom organisationen, även om utrymme för förbättringar finns i vissa avseenden. Överlag upplever vi att efterlevnaden av koden verkar hög inom Accenture.

Most people with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in a late stage of the disease.

In this report you can read about a service company that wants to introduce a new decision tool for their customers. The first question that will be answered in this report is, what information is needed for market controllers. The second question investigates how a decision tool that gives the answers to the first question would work. Theories in business and economics written by Jan Lindvall (2001) and sociotechnical work analysis written by Kim Vicente (1999) are used in this report. To find the answers to question number one, interviews with two market controllers were done.

Alcohol consumption and student life have been connected through many years. Many people establish their drinking habits during their years as a student and drinking habits among students are therefore an extremely important topic. The aim of this study was to examine the drinking habits of students at Växjö University. The study included 98 respondents who answered a survey concerning sex, age, living status, social relations, social desirability and drinking habits. The result indicated that male students consumed more alcohol than female students.
