På Sveriges fastighetsmarknad har man de senaste åren kunnat urskilja ett allt högre fokus påmiljön från dess aktörer. Miljödebatten i Sverige har snabbt fått fäste och allt fler företag förstårvärdet av att fokusera på sådana frågor.Att utvecklingen fortsätter att gå framåt är viktigt då fastigheter och dess tillhörande byggnaderstår för nästan en tredjedel av världens utsläpp av växthusgaser och bara byggandet och driftenstår för cirka fyrtio procent av den globala förbrukningen av råvaror och energi. Prioritering avmiljöfrågor blir således viktiga vid fastighetsförvaltande och nyproduktion.Tidigare forskning visar att det finns en mängd incitament för att bygga och förvalta grönt. Ävenhyresgästerna har incitament för att hyra gröna lokaler. Vidare visar internationella studier att detinte alltid krävs stora åtgärder för att uppnå bra resultat vad gäller fastigheters energiförbrukningoch hållbarhet över tid.

Today  Real  estate  companies  face  the  challenge  where  extensive  renovations  on  existinghousing built before 1980 must be performed. Conditions have changed and the housing need performance-­?enhancing measures that meet today's quality. With a current renovation rate,  it  would  take  30  years  to  meet  the  renovation  needs.  The  renovation  rate  must therefore rise dramatically, which requires the real estate companies to act consistently in accordance with commercial principles and in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible way.The  paper  discusses  renovation  strategies  in  four  municipal  housing  companies  in  the Stockholm  suburbs.  The  report  includes  surveys  of  four  ongoing  renovation  projects; Fastighets AB Förvaltaren in Sundbyberg project Hundloken 3, Stiftelsen Signalisten in Solna project Ritorp, Sollentunahem in Sollentuna project Svalgången och Väsbyhem in Upplands Väsby project Dragonvägen. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the practices of redevelopment projects.

Stressrelaterad ohälsa är ett stort problem i dag, såväl för den drabbade individen, som dess närstående, samt även för samhället i stort. Föreliggande arbete sökte nå en djupare förståelse av en berättelse från en informant, om vägen tillbaka till förvärvsarbete efter en längre tids sjukskrivning på grund av stressrelaterad ohälsa. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för arbetet har varit den socialkonstruktionistiska, och det som i arbetet undersöktes var dels själva berättelsen till form och innehåll; dels vilken funktion den hade för jagberättaren och för den berättelsevärld där berättelsen är publicerad, på ett diskussionsforum på Internet. Verktyget för att nå djupare förståelse kring detta har varit den narrativa analysen. Via analysen framkom bland annat att temat för berättelsen var jagberättarens kamp mellan yttre/inre krav och de egna resurserna, samt att berättelsen hade en vårdande funktion dels för jagberättaren själv, dels för övriga aktörer i berättelsevärlden..

Graffiti kanske är en av vår tids mest uppmärksammade uttryckssätt. Mängder av texter har skrivits om kulturen ? många gånger i media. Ofta med ett angreppssätt som behandlar ekonomiska, sociala, juridiska eller kulturella aspekter inom graffitikulturen. Syftet med denna forskning har dock inte varit att spinna vidare på något utav dessa aspekter, utan istället hitta en ny egen forskning.

Eftersom att samhället förändras ställs nya krav på vad läskunnighet innebär. Bilder omgeross ständigt och förmedlar budskap i lika hög grad som skriven text enligt det vidgadetextbegreppet. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka vad forskningen säger omeffekterna av användandet av bilder i samband med läsutveckling med utgångspunkt ilärandepotential för eleverna.Artiklarna var åtta till antalet och innefattade fem kvantitativa undersökningar och trelitteraturstudier. De teman som har betydelse är i de kvantitativa artiklarna; inferenser,arbetsminne, ögonfixering, bildpreferenser, fysisk interaktion med bilder samt läsförståelse. Ilitteraturstudierna identifierades 4 olika teman; lärarens roll, meningsskapande genom bildoch text, elevers utveckling och vår tids krav.

This thesis deals with the numerical 3D simulation of a four stroke, spark-ignited, internalcombustion engine, which is mounted on a high performance motorcycle. The work, carried outin collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and MV Agusta, focuses on the simulation of theintake, compression and expansion stroke, including combustion simulation, using an opensource CFD code.Simulation of internal combustion engines offers a great challenge in the field of CFD research.Moving boundaries of the solution domain, caused by the motion of the piston and valves, leadsto deformation of the computational grid, with decreasing quality of the solution as result. Basedon this, a previously developed mesh motion strategy was employed where a number of meshesare used to cover the whole simulation cycle. Within each mesh interval the internal cell pointsof the mesh are moved to account for the boundary motion of the piston and valves. This strategywas previously applied to simplified geometries as well as real engine geometries.

This degree project is based on identifying and allocation of costs in a packaging section at Electrolux Distriparts in Torsvik.The purpose of this thesis is to identify the costs that emerge when packaging different articles and show how the costs are allocated. The report also contains improvement suggestions about how the company can use the current computer system more efficient.The methods that have been used in order to approach the problem and the collection of information have mainly been literature study, interviews and observation.The work started with answering the questions; which expenditure cost and direct cost exist in the section, how can they be allocated, if improvement can be done and how the flow of information is supposed to happen.In order to answer the questions we used our former experience and the knowledge we achieved by reading literature, interview relevant persons in the company and observations carried out in the section.Through our studies, we came up with an Excel file, which is the groundwork for a template that can be used by the company in different occasions depending on the situation and need. It is important to remember to modify the template if the presumptions change. In the template, we have identified the different kind of costs that emerge when packaging different articles and we have also allocated the costs. In addition formulas and estimations that are necessary for the cost calculation are presented.The work consisted in making the groundwork for a template.

Denna undersökning kartlägger hur spelare psykologiskt upplever slumpen i ett enkelt tärningsspel, samt hur spelupplevelsen förändras då slumpfördelningen har anpassats efter spelarnas förväntningar eller avviker från dem. Undersökningen grundar sig i forskning om bland annat matematik, psykologi och spelbeteende i hasardspel. I det här projektet överför jag denna teori på spel i underhållningssyfte. Undersökningen visar att spelare generellt upplever att de i vissa situationer har större sannolikhet att lyckas än de egentligen har. Undersökningen visar även att spelare upplever frustration då deras förväntningar på slumpfördelningen avviker avsevärt mot den faktiska slumpfördelningen.

Depression är en av vår tids vanligaste folksjukdomar, trots det söker bara hälften av alla drabbade vård. Ett sätt att nå ut till fler är genom internetbaserade behandlingsmetoder. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka effekten av fyra behandlarunderstödda internetadministrerade behandlingar vid mild till måttlig depression. Två av behandlingarna bygger på fysisk aktivitet och två på beteendeaktivering. Inom varje betingelse har rationalen manipulerats.

Diabetes typ 2 är en av vår tids stora folksjukdomar. Det är oftast inte sjukdomen i sig, utan komplikationer till sjukdomen som orsakar det största lidandet hos patienterna. Det är därför viktigt att patienterna inser betydelsen av en god egenvård och att de har förmåga att genomföra den. Sjuksköterskan behöver också en förståelse för hur hon kan hjälpa dem. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att få en uppfattning om hur empowermentbaserad undervisning påverkar patienter med diabetes typ 2 sett ur ett patientperspektiv.

This thesis describes how the chip space and coolant channels are designed in today?s mills, the ideas behind the design and what is considered to be the best method of cooling. It contains ideas on how the chip space can be simplified. It contains several concepts on how the cooling could be designed for better efficiency and manufacturability. There are also suggestions on how the cooling could be stopped when the cutter isn?t cutting.

Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka pedagogernas inställning till lek i skolans lägre årskurser. Vidare att belysa lekens betydelse för den kognitiva utveckling och hur pedagogerna använder leken i sitt dagliga arbete. Metodern är en kvalitativ, halvstrukturerad forskningsintervju med hermeneutisk inriktning och bygger på intervjuer med sex pedagoger. Jag redovisar intervjuerna i fyra olika teman, som kom fram under analysen av intervjuerna. Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultaten av min undersökning på att samtliga pedagoger är positit inställda till att lek och kopplar leken till den kognitiva utvecklingen..
