Under de senaste 30 åren har Kinas ekonomi utvecklats snabbt, vilket hänger väl ihop med landets fastighetsutveckling. Sedan den marknadsinriktade bostadsreformen 1998 har Kinas bostadsmarknad haft en snabb tillväxt med en kraftig prisökning under de senaste fem, sex åren. Denna uppsats har syftet att undersöka de kinesiska bostadsprisernas utveckling och utforska de faktorer som drivit bostädernas prisutveckling. Med insamlade årliga data från Kinas National Bureau of Statistics för perioden 1995-2010 genomfördes grafiska analyser och ekonometriska analyser. Studiens grafiska resultat visar att bostadspriset har en stabil utveckling under perioden 1995-2004.

The present study aimed to replicate Tversky & Kahneman's' survey of 1981 The Asian Disease Problem. A survey was conducted on the Internet (N = 200). An identical problem was added, yet with The Swine Flu as the disease. This was done to be able to investigate if there are any order effects, and also if it matters whether the mentioned disease is fictional or real. The results show the same results as Tversky & Kahneman already noted; positively and negatively framed problems generate different responses from the participants.

Sweden is facing a shift in generation where the people born in the 1940s are starting to retire which results in consequences. Before the year of 2013 more than 180 000 companies will have to change owner. A study indicates that the majority of all Swedes in the age of 18-70 can consider becoming company owners.Only ten percent of the companies for sale will reach the company broker and another 15 percent will be mediated by legal experts and accountants. This means that 75 percent of the companies for sale will not be available for the public market. As a potential buyer this is a problem.

Syfte: Huvudsyftet är att undersöka effekterna av införandet av IAS inom fastighetsbranschen och se om de nya principerna har lett mot en mer värderelevant redovisning. Delsyftet är att se på införandets effekter på det egna kapitalet, samt att utröna förhållanden före och efter införandet, då sett till två tidsperioder 2000-2004 och 2005-2009.Metod: Undersökningen är en totalundersökning som innefattar tio stycken företag. CAPM och Tobins Q används för att se om det finns skillnader i eget kapital samt eget kapital i förhållande till börskurs före och efter införandet.  Teori: Undersökningen utgår från Finansieringsteori, Effektiva marknadshypotesen, Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Tobins Q, Redovisningsteori, Beslutsfattande och Human Information ProcessingEmpiri: I kapitlet illustreras undersökningen i tabeller och diagram.
