Crowdfunding is a phenomenon that is subject to a great growth during the recent years, and the growth rate doesn't seem to stagnate. When new legislation named the JOBS Act in the U.S. becomes effective in late 2015, crowd equity will surely become a popular tool for financing businesses. Because crowdfunding great popularity is caused by the possibility to reach out to crowds through the internet, it is a global phenomenon, why it's relevant to examine current legislations in jurisdictions. This thesis covers an examination of Swedish laws of how they govern crowdfunding, and also suggestions on how the laws should be changed to more efficiently  correspond with the purposes of crowdfunding..

Laserdata i skogsbruket : - och möjliga tillämpningar för privata skogsägare

Data retrieved from airborne laser scanning represents a new source of forest data. Today, the technology has matured so that it can function in an operational environment. The aim of this study was to compile areas of application of laserdata in forestry. Moreover to analyze costs and accessibility of laserdata. The goal was to provide private forest owners information to support assessments of possible benefits of laserdata.

Växelkursens och BNP:s påverkan på den bilaterala handelsbalansen : En empirisk undersökning av Sverige och dess viktigaste handelspartners

I denna empiriska studie undersöker vi den reala växelkursens och reala BNP:s påverkan på Sveriges bilaterala handelsbalans med 11 länder mellan år 1995-2011. Med en felkorrigeringsmodell i ARDL-format testar vi för långsiktig kointegration. Därefter estimeras den reala växelkursens och reala BNP:s påverkan på den bilaterala handelsbalansen. Vi finner endast stöd för J-kurvsfenomenet och uppfyllt Marshall-Lerner villkor i 2 av 11 handelsförbindelser. Istället observerar vi ett starkare samband mellan real BNP och handelsbalansen.

With the advancing energy prices it is highly suitably for those whobuild and administer their buildings in long-term to build energy-saving houses. 40 % ofSweden?s total energy consumption constitutes of the energy in residences, therefore it iscrucial to take advantage of all the free energy as we possibly can. With crucial questions likequality of living and profit low energy building is a subject that concerns us all.Three proposals for apartment blocks are presented in this work on a real estate in Stockholm.Each proposal is developed through unique processes of design with the purpose to displaypossibilities to deal with the energy requirements of today and tomorrow through energybased architecture.The first proposal is an apartment block based on a traditional design process, the demands ofthe property owner and it?s affected by opinions from architects.

There are two kinds of solar collectors that are most frequently used todayand these are plain solar collectors and vacuum solar collectors. The plain solarcollectors are the once that are used the most but the vacuum solar collectorshave increased more as a percentage the last couple of years.The biggest question asked regarding an investment in solar heating is if theplant is economically profitable. This question has no direct answer because itis dependent on a couple of prerequisites.

Commercial expropriation occurs when real property is compulsory acquired by a private operator. This phenomenon is relatively new and has been criticized not only because of the rules concerning compensation, but also from the point of view of permissibility.An intervention in the protection of property must fulfill the requirement of important public interest set out in RF 2 kap. 15 § in order for it to be allowed. There is no definition regarding what constitutes an important public interest, the only thing that exist is a non-exhaustive list in the preparatory work. This in turn has led to the creation of a broad discretion when it comes to determining what constitutes important public interests.

Förlorad lönsamhet - en studie av PEAD:s förändrade egenskaper på den svenska aktiemarknaden mellan år 2000 och 2009

In this thesis we study the development of post-earnings announcement drift (PEAD) in the Swedish equity market from 2000 to 2009. By forming portfolios based on the stock price reaction to quarterly reporting we show that the characteristics of PEAD have changed. We demonstrate that negatively surprising companies show a positive drift during a holding period of six months sufficiently large to render the trading strategy unprofitable. This development holds from 2005 and onwards and these results contradict many a study which finds the same portfolio construction to be indeed profitable. We argue that this development is a trend that will not only affect our study but future studies as well..

Private Banking- Svenska bankers drivkrafter för etablering i Luxemburg

Konceptet kring kluster har fått mycket uppmärksamhet de senaste årtiondena. Dels beskrivet som ett viktigt fenomen, dels som ett bidrag till effektiva nationella ekonomier. I denna kandidatuppsats ämnar vi undersöka några viktiga drivkrafter som driver koncentrationerna av svenska bankers etablering inom kluster för Private Banking i Luxemburg. Finansklustret lever kvar trots ändrade förutsättningar och hårdare regleringar. Genom en kvalitativ studie av två svenska banker som har enheter i finanscentrum i Luxemburg, undersöker vi drivkrafter bakom etableringarna.

Fastighetsmäklarlagens tillämpningsområde : En analys av kommersiell fastighetsförmedling med utgångpunkt i Svea hovrätts mål nr B 4377-14

I skrivande stund föreligger viss oklarhet vad gäller fastighetmäklarlagens (2011:666) tillämpningsområde. I ett avgörande från Svea hovrätt[1] har problematiken kring huruvida fastighetsmäklarlagens bestämmelser är tillämpliga på kommersiella fastighetsförmedlingar konkretiserats. Frågeställningen har varit föremål för diskussion i motiven till fastighetsmäklarlagen, och efter hovrättens avgörande gett upphov till livlig debatt. Lagutskottet har i förarbetena till lagen framhållit att det inte kan betraktas såsom rimligt att man, i samband med en fastighetsförmedling vid en inkråmsaffär, ska vara tvungen att anlita både en företags- och en fastighetsmäklare eller att valet av överlåtelseform[2] ska tillmätas någon betydelse. Regeringen var av samma åsikt som Lagutskottet, men påpekade att det i praktiken ändå oftast anlitas advokater vid förmedlingar av denna typ.

Om remedier i upphandlingsrätten : särskilt om skadestånd

An investigation of the remedies in the Swedish Public Procurement Law. The result of this investigation shows that the remedies are not satisfactory in upkeeping the Procurement Law. The swedish legislator has not fulfilled the demands of the European Councils Regulations in this area. This results in ineffective use of public funding as well as discriminating actions against private suppliers. I have found that some changes must take place in the legislation and that an electronic procurement procedure makes the legislation easier for both the public and the private parties to understand..

Win-win : Samarbete mellan kommun och näringsliv

Our study is focused on how the public sector can collaborate with the private sector on a certain issue. The public sector wanted to create a project to increase bicycling in the municipality of Kalmar. Our problem was to develop a sustainable way to collaborate between the two parties. We managed to present a suggestion on how the public sector with communication could improve their Public Relations with the private sector and therefore letting the parties benefit from their differences, thus making it possible to release synergy.Using semi-structured interviews and a workshop, we could clarify the values and attitudes of the parties to bring forth the core values to develop a shared vision. Where the identified differences were found, we used a dialog strategy based on intercultural conflict management as a communication tool.

The process of European Integration and creation of the single market revealed many questions and boundaries on the development and improvement of the European Social Policy. Pension?s sustainability has become the priority issue especially during the EU enlargement processes. Different policy instruments and institutions available to governments of Member States in realization of social objectives resulted in a growing diversity of pension polices which produced different combinations of public and private provisions - ?private-public hybrids? , with the state exercising different degrees of influence in their development.

Kapitalstruktur inom Svenska industriföretag : - en studie av Modigliani & Millers teorem

This paper?s objective is to investigate whether Modigliani and Miller (MM) I & II proposition from 1958 with regard to capital structure, is still valid among public Swedish firms.We have chosen the 63 firms on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (OMX) that Affärsvärlden magazine?s general index (AFGX) has categorized as industrial firms. We based this selection on the assumption that these firms are relatively capital intense and have a clear focus on production and, therefore, mainly uses capital structure as a mean to finance their production and not as a means in itself.To be able to fully evaluate these firms we have calculated the current key ratios based each firm?s annual report. To make the figures comparable across the entire population we adjusted them to each firm?s turnover.The results we have reached concur with MM?s proposition I regarding capital structures independence of the firm value.

Faktorer som generellt påverkar bostadssäljares val av fastighetsmäklare

Utgångspunkten i denna uppsats är att konsumenters val av fastighetsmäklare är beroende av fyra faktorer. Dessa är enligt mig följande: fastighetsmäklaren, kundbeteende, objektet och fastighetsmarknaden. Fokus har alltså legat på dessa fyra faktorer vid framtagning av teori för denna uppsats. 33 stycken kvalitativa undersökningar har genomförts med respondenter över telefon och sju stycken med respondenter som träffades personligen och ombads att fylla i enkätundersökningar. Sammanlagt utfördes 40 stycken undersökningar.

Casha in - En studie av nyblivna entreprenörers inställning till exit

Entrepreneurship is a subject of growing attention, especially within public policy, media and research. Many studies have been done, but the subject of entrepreneurial exit has to a large extent been ignored. The aim of this study has been to investigate how entrepreneurs at an early stage in their career think about exit within a near future, and what factors influence their attitude towards exit. The study was conducted through a survey answered by 253 entrepreneurs active within business incubators in Sweden. Based on previous research on entrepreneurial intentions, a model of exit intentions was developed, and tested against several other factors.
