This bachelor thesis describes why investors should invest in environmentally certified buildings instead of non certified buildings. The report provides an overview of possible factors influencing an investor in the investment process of an environmentally certified building. The report explains why building companies find incentive to build green buildings and how a cash flow method can be adapted so it can be used in the valuation process of an environmentally certified building. Environmentally certified buildings are used as a strategy to reduce emissions that threaten the environment as well as a strategy to obtain market shares for the building companies. This report focuses on the economic advantages of an environmentally certified building.The construction- and real estate industry stands for approximately 40 percent of the energy consumption in the world.

Producing a building is a long and complex process. It consists of several parts, from the feasibility study and design stage onto the construction and finally the management of the building. The design process is a critical part of the process where construction plans are made. The quality of the plans affect the production phase in great extent and faulty plans can pose a risk for extra costs for all parts in the process. The cost of producing dwellings has increased the last years and the detail design process is one of many phases where improvements can mean cost savings within the whole building process.This report aims to point at parts within the detail design process which could be more efficient, regarding communication, follow-up and time planning, and to give suggestions for improvements.

Musikterapi har förmodligen alltid funnits. Detta examensarbete beskriver musikterapins historia och Funktionsinriktad Musikterapi (FMT). Jag har under min utbildning till musikterapeut vid Musikhögskolan Ingesund, praktiserat på ett demensboende. Jag beskriver arbetet och resultatet med två adepter (de som tar emot terapin).Min slutsats är att FMT-metoden kan höja vakenhetsnivån hos den med demenssjukdom. Metoden ger stöd för strukturering och därmed minnesbearbetning.

Att arbeta med ART metoden är en kvalitativ studie med syftet att ta reda på hur ett specifikt arbetslag arbetar med modellen Aggressive Replacement Training (ART) i en skolverksamhet. ART metoden är en beteendeförändringsmodell skapad för kriminella utåtagerande och aggressiva unga. Utveckling av ART metoden och dess anpassningsbarhet har gjort den till en arbetsmodell som används inom skolan, då modellen anses kunna ge alla barn och unga verktyg och träning i dess sociala och emotionella utveckling. Metoden innehåller de tre huvudkomponenterna: socialfärdighetsträning, känslokontrollträning och moralträning. Arbetslaget Trädet som deltar i studien arbetar endast aktivt med ART modellens sociala färdighetsträning och pedagogernas arbete med denna komponent presenteras i uppsatsens analysdel.

Background: Businesses are traditionally valued with the so called Discounted Cash Flow-model. When valuing newly-started businesses, surrounded by high uncertainty, and whose capital mostly consists of unrealized business opportunities, the Discounted Cash Flow-model needs to be complemented if the total value of the business is to be captured. A valuation with the help of real options is capable of valuing these unrealized opportunities, which often exist in newly-started businesses. The unrealized opportunities are to be found in the business plan of the business, why this needs to be valued to capture the total value of a newly-started business. Purpose: To demonstrate what the use of real options can result in when valuing businesses.

For Skattkärr IF a turf field with warming has been projected to increase field?s utilization hours and to have a longer period for athletes to perform their activities outdoors. The technique chosen to heat the plan is a type of a geothermal heating system without a heat pump. The brine, which is water with 30% ethanol, collects heat from the borehole and discharges it to a coil in the field. There is at position 11 boreholes but it is planned to increase the number to 31, which is the design for the facility.

Storm water causes a number of problems in our country, particularly in city environment with its surfaces of non-absorbing ground materials. At heavy rain falls there are floods due to lack of capacity in the drain system when meeting heavy water masses over a short time. When the drain system is overloaded huge water masses reach the recipient untreated and there causing disturbances in the aquatic ecosystem. Due to emissions from mainly traffic, industries and other human activities the storm water is polluted. Earlier the problem used to be solved technically, by increasing the capacity of the tubes and by construction of reservoirs to delay the floods peaks.

Många barn lider i det tysta av oro och ångest. En del barn har fobier och rädslor som de kan ha svårt att sätta ord på. Deras rädslor kan ibland avläsas i deras kroppsspråk. FMT-metoden kan vara ett bra stöd och komplement till övrig vägledning och hjälp av t.ex. föräldrar och skolpersonal.Syftet med examensarbetet är att beskriva FMT-metoden, beskriva oro och ångest och se hur FMT kan stödja barn som har oro och ångest.

The use of vision applications are growing and the demand for integration and connectivity with other industrial automation control devices is increasing. Some businesses that are using vision technology follow US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) regulation concerning audit trail. This thesis investigates the possibility to use vision technology for counting objects, achieving connectivity and to follow FDAs audit trail regulation. A market survey has been used to select suitable hardware and software to be used in the design of an application that is able to count objects and that uses standard industrial network connection i.e. OPC data access and Microsoft?s .NET components over Ethernet.

During the last few years the alcohol consumption has increased and is now the highest in 100 years, one usually count that 10 % of the grown up population abuse alcohol and/or drugs and most of them are hidden abusers with families and work. This leads to great costs for the companies. But the much greater cost for the companies are the much larger group of risk abusers. According to the Swedish law the employer has a responsibility for the work milieu and also for the rehabilitate for the employed and drug/alcohol abuse applies to this.I have done qualitative interviews on four companies in the south of Sweden with one representa-tive for the management and one representative for the union. I have investigated their attitudes to alcohol and drugs and how they describe the alcohol culture at the company.The companies define alcohol problems when they are established and obvious and when it is dis-covered they put in resources and because of this they don't work preventive so much.

This thesis, in the field of healthcare logistics, has been carried out at Hjärt- och Medicincentrum (HMC) at the University Hospital in Linköping during the fall and spring of 2012/2013. The thesis is done by two students at Linköping University at master?s level within the framework of Industrial Engineering and Management.As Sweden's county councils should not make a profit or loss, it is important that the councils are aware of how much care processes cost. Kardiologiska kliniken at HMC in Östergötland?s county council is one of the clinics that are profitable.

Syftet med arbetet är att identifiera svårigheter med att argumentera för den agila projektmetodiken till en beställare. Arbetet har även till syfte att ge rekommendationer på hur en organisation kan stärka sin argumentation för den agila metoden ut mot beställaren. För att uppnå arbetets syfte har den kvalitativ forskningsintervju och en litteraturgenomgång tillämpats. Resultatet visade att svårigheterna är att alla yrkesroller internt inom organisationen inte har en och samma definition över vad den agila metoden innebär. Den nuvarande agila modellen ansågs också av flertalet respondenter inte vara tillräckligt utarbetad.

Att kommunicera och utifrån det ta initiativ och utföra en handling är för många barn svårt.  Tillkommer det dessutom en funktionsnedsättning försvårar det oftast situationen. Förmågan till samspel, initiativ och handling kan då behöva medvetandesgöras med hjälp av olika medel.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att beskriva FMT-metoden, samt att nå en djupare kunskap kring ämnet autism. I mitt arbete har jag valt att med FMT-metoden (Funktionsinriktad musikterapi) förmedla och beskriva hur man kan nå samverkan med barn med autism och autismliknande drag.Litteraturstudie har genomförts i ämnena musikterapi, FMT-metoden, autism och autismliknande drag samt utvecklingsstörning. En sammanfattning har gjorts av dokumenterad information, i form av videoinspelningar och fallbeskrivningar av två barn som jag följt under utbildningens gång.I min slutsats kom jag fram till att jag observerat en stor utveckling hos barnen vad gäller förmågan till samverkan, initiativtagande och utförandet av en egen bestämd handling med FMT-metoden som medel..
