New national curriculums are issued in order to change the present state of the educational system in a nation. In 2011 the old curriculum, the Läroplanen för de frivilliga skolformerna (LPF94) was replaced by the Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011 (GY11). As future teachers we are interested in how a new curriculum affects the work of teachers concerning planning, teaching and examination from the teacher?s point of view.We conducted interviews with five teachers working at upper secondary schools (16-19 year olds) in Kalmar county. Our theoretical framework is based on curriculum theory and concepts of Leonard Bernstein: framing and classification.

Today, about 15 to 20 percent of Sweden?s total emission of carbon dioxide can be traced to the household sector. By examining apartment blocks in a life cycle perspective, the origin of the carbon dioxide emission has been charted and analyzed. This information has been used to create a computational model that calculates the total emission of carbon dioxide from a specific apartment block. The results from the analyzed apartment blocks indicate that both the use of energy and the emission of carbon dioxide have been reduced since the 1960s. Through the examination of building materials, it is possible to lower the emission of carbon dioxide that origins from the construction phase of an apartment block.

This essay will examine the historical picture of the island Rapa Nui as it is portrayed in popular science and in ecohistorical literature of the university of Gothenburg. This historical picture states that the inhabitants of the island cut down a lot of trees in the process of transporting the big and heavy statues, moai, from the quarry to the platforms along the coastline of the island. During this process all trees disappeared and resulted in soil erosion. The cultivation was destroyed and brought hunger to Rapa Nui. The following rivalry for food led to a situation of war followed by a cultural collapse.

Det här examensarbetet har syftat till att få svar på hur kvinnor skildras i förhållande till män i mellanstadiets läroböcker i historia. Arbetet började i 1960-talets läroböcker och sträckte sig 50 år framåt i tiden för att kunna svara på frågan hur skildringen av kvinnor har förändrats över tid. Dessutom har läro- och kursplanernas synpunkter på jämställdhet i undervisningen undersökts för att kunna ge ett svar på frågan om hur väl läroböckernas framställning av kvinnor stämmer överens med dessa styrdokuments synpunkter. Arbetet är en kvalitativ textanalys, dock med ett kvantitativt inslag, som har tagit sin utgångspunkt i Hirdmans genussystem och teorier kring den stereotypa kvinnan. Arbetets främsta resultat är att kvinnan till stor del utelämnas från beskrivningarna i läroböckerna samt att hon jämförs med mannen och skildras som antingen mindre fulländad än honom eller som en annorlunda art med andra egenskaper.

The purpose with this examination is to build a measureequipment to AerotechTelub AB (AT), who will registrate fault in SRAM-memory in contact with cosmic radiation. The equipment will be created around developcard from Memec Design with FPGA from Xilinx. The logic in the FPGA will be implemented with the hardwaredescribed language VHDL. The SRAM-memory that will be tested is build in CMOS-teknologi. The memorycells will be loaded with a predecided bitpattern.

The aim of this Master´s thesis is to explore how public libraries in a successful way can work in projects with young people. It intends to point out different factors that in a legible way affect the accomplishment and outcome of the project. Another purpose of the study is to uncover the various approaches existing within the projects towards young people and to find out why it is seen as important to work with youngsters, considering the hard work that it requires and the reluctance of the young to visit the library. The examination is based upon eight different and fulfilled projects. I föreliggande uppsats jämförs karaktärsdragen i den vetenskapliga bedömningsdiskursen med den politiska och offentliga diskursen utifrån frågorna: vad talas det om och vad talas det inte om när det gäller: elevers prestation och motivation, utvärdering av skolan, tydlighet/ rättvisa, lärande/examination/undervisning samt urval? Frågorna ställs till de lästa texterna inom de valda diskurserna. Läroplansteori har använts som begreppsligt verktyg och till att synliggöra talet om en flergradig betygsskala. Jämförelsen av karaktärsdragen visar att båda diskurserna talar om en upplevd ökad motivation, prestation, tydlighet och rättvisa. Samtidigt rapporteras i den vetenskapliga bedömningsdiskursen om en ökad stress, svårigheter att språkligt uttrycka kunskapskrav och kriterier för sex betygssteg samt att variera examinationsformerna och samtidigt bedöma enligt en sexgradig skala. Det talas i båda diskurserna om en oro för ytinlärning och en större fokusering på detaljer, även om detta mest syns i den vetenskapliga bedömningsdiskursen.

The main purpose of the essay was to evaluate whether investments in index-linked bonds were suitable investments for smaller investors on the international finance market. To determine whether the index-linked bonds are good investments, the variables yield, cost and risk were used to measure the index-linked bonds against investments in stocks and funds. The reason for the interest in this subject is that investments in index-linked bonds have grown furiously the last few years. With the growth of the investments the criticism of index-linked bonds has also grown stronger. The critics? main point is the cost of the product, and they imply that investors can create their own index-linked bond and thereby avoid the bank fees.This study used a quantitative approach, because all the data of yield, cost and risk consist of numbers.
