Sustainability issues have become increasingly high-profile and important in recent decades. In addition, quality issues have come to play a central role in corporate marketing, strategy and management. The word quality can be defined differently in different contexts. This paper focuses on the concept of quality, based on the Total Quality Management perspective, which in Swedish has come to be known as Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling has been described as a theoretical framework in which an organization continually strives to meet and preferably exceed customer needs and expectations at the lowest cost through continuous improvement, and in which all members of the organization are committed and focused on the organisation's processes. The purpose of this study was twofold. First, to clarify the applicability of the theoretical model Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling as a theoretical explanatory model. Second, to explore how Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB performs according to the values in Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. A multiple case study was conducted in order to explore these topics. The results showed that Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB is working in a dedicated and value-driven manner, aligned with the values ??that form the basis for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. The results also showed that the model for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling could serve well as a theoretical explanatory model, but that the model would benefit from being developed, enriched or integrated with other models.

Automationscenter & BrÄvalla Elteknik AB is a company that offers the market completed total solutions where the customer can operate and monitor their production from the terminal. In these total solutions they lack standard circuit which are developed by the company and which could manoeuvre/control/monitor controlled process objects. This report defines the work of developing the most common standard circuits.The report is initiated by a short theoretical part about PLC and the PLC system, with a connected terminal, which has been used. Thereafter, the turnout of the demands of specification is reported, after discussing with the supervisor in the course of the project. The report concludes with a disclosure of how the programming, the documentation and the testing have proceeded and a final discussion concerning the project and proposals on continuation.The result is a CD with the documentation of standard circuits and how they are implemented in a new project.

Sammandrag Syftet med det hÀr arbetet Àr att utifrÄn begreppen ?kulturarv? och ?kulturell mÄngfald? undersöka lÀrares val av texter som anvÀnds i undervisningen och hur dessa texter anvÀnds i undervisningen. Syftet Àr ocksÄ att ta reda pÄ vad olika lÀrare anser att eleverna behöver för ?kulturellt kapital? med sig i livet. För att undersöka detta genomförde jag en undersökning pÄ tvÄ skolor i en medelstor sydsvensk stad.

The aim of this report is to analyse the use of the capacity at the CNC (computer numerical control) cutters and show how the level of set up time for these cutters at StÄlöv AB. This assignment is concrete whereas there are no subjective questions to this matter and there are only cold figures presented.Production economy is getting more important as the competition hardens and there are several different ways to increase productivity and efficiency in a company. In order to increase productivity and efficiency work studies are used to, through an analysis, find developments in methods that result in improved work methods and to establish the time that are used. Increased production of different parts and customer driven production in combination with increased demands on rationalisation of capital have led to an enlarged interest for shorter set up times in the production.To point out the use of capacity and the set up time of the cutters at StÄlöv AB we used frequency studies. Frequency studies are work measure methods based on random observations on predetermined events to calculate the relative occurrence of these events.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att ge en ökad förstÄelse för Venture capitalbolagen och dess portföljbolag. Tanken Àr sedan att koppla ihop Venture capitalbranschen med den rÄdande lÄgkonjunkturen för att se om branschen pÄverkats, och i sÄ fall pÄ vilket sÀtt.Metod: Uppsatsen Àr byggd pÄ en kvalitativ studie. Den kvalitativa studien har utförts med hjÀlp av tre intervjuer, tvÄ via personliga möten och en via telefon. Litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar har anvÀnds för att bygga upp teorin.Resultat & slutsats: Författarna har kommit fram till att möjligheten att fÄ Venture capital har minskat under lÄgkonjunkturen. En stor faktor Àr att nedgÄngen pÄ börsen lett till överallokering hos bland annat banker och försÀkringsbolag som normalt Àr stora investerare i fonder med onoterade bolag.

The background for my thesis is the fact that with rising electricity and oil prices it becomes interesting to calculate on alternative heating systems. I have chosen to calculate upon my parents? farm, which today heats the dwelling house with wood. This is very time-consuming work, time which could be spent on other work. The main objective for this study is to compare three different heating systems to decide how they differ considering effort and cost. The result from the calculations was that grain-heating system demanded the least amount of work, but the total cost was a little higher compared to chips heating. Chips heating required half as much work as today?s wood heating and had a little lower total costs compared with the corn heating. Which system to choose largely depends on how the own work is valued.

Denna undersökning utfördes vid Malmö Högskola (MAH). Syftet med undersökningen var att kartlÀgga hur könsfördelningen ser ut pÄ socionomutbildningen vid MAH, ge en preliminÀr bild av dess manliga studenter utifrÄn deras attityder gentemot yrket och att söka svaret pÄ frÄgan: Vad Àr det som karaktÀriserar den manliga socionomstudenten? Som huvudfrÄgestÀllning valde vi: Varför vÀljer mÀn att lÀsa till socionom? Och följdfrÄgorna till huvudfrÄgestÀllningen var: Hur pÄverkar det kulturella kapital man bÀr med sig detta val? samt Hur pÄverkar den hegemoniska maskuliniteten detta val? För att svara pÄ detta genomförde vi en enkÀtundersökning riktad till samtliga manliga socionomstudenter pÄ MAH. Intresset för detta Àmne kom till i mötet med arbetslivet, dÀr det samtidigt rÄder brist pÄ mÀn och en önskan om ett ökat antal mÀn. Dessutom syns den skeva könsfördelningen Àven tydligt inom skolan dÀr endast ca 15 % av studenterna Àr mÀn.

Studies indicate that between 6-9% of all children has some type of voice problems. Voice problems in children may have different etiology and can affect all ages. In Sweden, there is a lack of a standardized questionnaire addressed to children with voice problems and their legal guardians. The purpose of this study was to translate and validate the Pediatric Voice Handicap Index (pVHI) in Swedish children aged 6 to 10 years. The study was carried out through an internet-based assessment form for children referred to speech and language pathologist/ phoniatrican due to voice disorders in Sweden and a matched control group of children without voice problems.

Uppsatsen handlar om second moverföretag och dess etablering pÄ marknaden. Sju 2Mo-företag har intervjuats för att finna gemensamma drag i dess etablering i tre steg: förutsÀttningar, strategi och hinder. De flesta 2Mo-företagen har vid sin etablering haft tydliga komparativa fördelar gentemot sina respektive konkurrenter. Det framgÄr att de komparativa fördelarna lÀgre kostnad och differentiering har stor betydelse vid etableringsbeslutet. Det har varit svÄrt att identifiera huruvida företagens timing varit god.

Att finna korrelat till vÄld har lÀnge rönt stort intresse inom den forensiska psykologin, inte minst med ambitionen att kunna predicera en persons framtida vÄldsamhet. I denna studie undersöks hur tretton variabler inom de fyra kategorierna substansbruk, impulsivitet, anknytning och upplevt socialt nÀt korrelerar med tidigare registrerad vÄldskriminalitet hos tvÄ grupper: personer inom kriminalvÄrdens frivÄrd respektive rÀttspsykiatrins öppenvÄrd. Signifikanta korrelationer Äterfanns mellan den tidigare vÄldsbrottsligheten och tvÄ av variablerna inom anknytning, en av variablerna inom impulsivitet och en av variablerna inom socialt nÀt. Inga signifikanta korrelationer Äterfanns mellan vÄldskriminalitet och substansbruk. De bÄda grupperna skilde sig Ät i frÄga om hur korrelationerna fördelade sig, sÄtillvida att för frivÄrdens klienter korrelerade enbart en av variablerna i kategorin socialt nÀt med vÄldskriminaliteten.

Denna uppsats Àr en framtidsstudie dÀr skillnader och olikheter mellan tre olika orter lyfts fram genom ungdomars framtidsdrömmar. Undersökningen bygger pÄ intervjuer med elever frÄn högstadieskolor pÄ olika orter. Syftet Àr att försöka besvara fyra olika frÄgestÀllningar inom tematiseringarna genus, platsidentitet, klass och tid för att slutligen göra en jÀmförelse mellan orterna. Orterna, som Àr Uppsala, Hedemora och Bergshamra, Àr utvalda för att fÄ en bra storleksfördelning frÄn stor till liten ort. Av mitt material har jag gjort en kulturanalys för att kunna studera erfarenheter, likheter och olik-heter i ungdomarnas synsÀtt och vÀrderingar.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.
