Bristfällig kodförståelse resulterar i längre tidsåtgång vid underhåll och modifiering av koden, vilket för ett företag leder till ökade kostnader.Clean Code anses enligt somliga vara lösningen på detta problem. Clean Code är en samling riktlinjer och principer för hur man skriver kod som är enkel att förstå och underhålla. Ett kunskapsglapp identifierades vad gäller empirisk data som undersöker Clean Codes påverkan på kodförståelse. Studiens frågeställning varHur påverkas förståelsen vid modifiering av kod som är refaktoriserad enligt Clean Code principerna för namngivning och att skriva funktioner?För att undersöka hur Clean Code påverkar kodförståelsen utfördes ett fältexperiment tillsammans med företaget CGM Lab Scandinavia i Borlänge, där data om tidsåtgång och upplevd förståelse hos testdeltagare samlades in och analyserades.Studiens resultat visar ingen tydlig förbättring eller försämring av kodförståelsen då endast den upplevda kodförståelsen verkar påverkas.

The thought behind this bachelor essay regarding gender and rhetorical feminist criticism developed years ago out of the fact that I read just a little too many dirty chick lit-pockets as a teen. Those chick lit-pockets were my first introduction to sex, to gender roles, to how men and women react and are supposed to react to each other and, in some sense, even to feminism. Those chick lit-pockets, later turning into hardcore Harlequin-books, became my benchmark when I started to contemplate the fact that this is a man?s world, produced and reproduced by a male gaze which influences everything from sex, porn, advertising, gender roles, jobs and payment to dirty pockets for teenage girls.The essays aims to show how the male gaze-phenomenon could be to use for the rhetoric discipline: first combined with other rhetorical theories as a way to analyze and understand gender and objectification. The main question asked; How to put the male gaze on a rhetorical leash? Syftet med studien var att undersöka aktivitetsförmåga, symtom, smärta och tillfredställelse samt sambandet mellan aktivitetsförmågan, gipstid och antalet behandlingstillfällen hos arbetsterapeut efter tumbasartroplastik 1 till 2 år efter operation och efterföljande rehabilitering. Till samtliga patienter (n = 80) som opererades från jan 2008 till mars 2009 skickades självskattningsinstrumentet, hälsoenkäten Quick DASH samt ett frågeformulär gällande om man var tillfredställd/ nöjd med operationen. Hälsoenkäten belyser dimensioner av hälsorelaterad livskvalité och kan vara till god hjälp i det kliniska arbetet. Svarsfrekvensen i studien var 91 % och 86 % av patienterna svarade att man var nöjd med operationen. Quick DASH score räknades ut (n = 67) till medianvärde på 11,4 poäng .

This bachelor thesis project has been executed at Outotec Sweden AB in Skellefteå. Outotecs main business focus is selling mineral and metal processing technologies. A rest product from the metal process is particle-polluted gas and cyclone designs are today the most commonly used abatement device for particle control. A cyclone provides a simple design with high efficiency particle percolation by using air streams.The purpose of this work is to reduce the time it takes create new cyclone designs in Outotecs projects. An extensive construction work is needed for every new cyclone order due to new designs.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka mediebilden av Sture Bergwall i svensktryckt press och hur eller om mediebilden förändrats mellan 90-talet och idag. De frågorsom ligger till grund för undersökningen är vilka huvudkällor som använts, om det finnsnågra särskilda ord som är signifikanta i beskrivningar av Bergwall samt hur andraaktörer i hans omgivning beskrivs. De metoder jag använder för att söka svar är dels enkvantitativ analys för att få statistik om vilka källor som används. Dels en diskursanalys,där jag har blandat Roger Fowlers och Teun A van Dijks teorier för att bäst kunnaapplicera metoden på mitt material.De sex artiklar som är undersökta genom diskursanalys är hämtade från DagensNyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Expressen och Aftonbladet. De artiklar som är föremål fören mindre kvantitativ analys är hämtade från samma tidningar, från perioderna 1998-01-01 till 1999-12-31 samt 2009-01-01 till 2010-01-31.De teorietiska ramarna för uppsatsen är både mer allmän teori om det journalistiskauppdraget och mer specifik teori om brott i medier samt moralpanik.Resultatet visade att det finns stora skillnader i hur Bergwall framställs under de bådatidsperioderna.

This project is about development of virtual drums for iPhone and iPad. The project aims to provide the company Toontrack AB with a good foundation to build drumbased apps. The focus has been on getting a quick response when playing and that user interfaces should be easy to use, intuitive and customizable. The result is impressive and both audio and graphics are of excellent quality thanks to good collaboration with Toontrack, that previously has developed drum-based software. The drum kit offers a variety of articulations and even the ability to play various dynamics, although the screens are not pressure sensitive..

AbstractDenna uppsats handlar om elevers uppfattningar om fult språk år 2008. Syftet med uppsatsen är att blivande svensklärare ska tillägna sig en föreberedelse för den kommande lärarrollen, och få en medvetenhet om vilket språkbruk eleverna har. Sjuttio elever har svarat på enkätfrågor som handlar om vad de anser vara fult språk, om de använder fult språk och vilka platser de anser att de inte får använda fult språk. Elevernas svar har sammanställs och mönster har framkommit. Resultatet visar att majoriteten av eleverna använder någon form av fula ord.
