Studien underso?kte hur taluppfattning varierar med, respektive utan top-down-sto?d och vad de kognitiva fo?rma?gorna uppma?rksamhet, minne och inhiberingsfo?rma?ga hade fo?r inverkan. Taluppfattningsfo?rma?ga utva?rderades med hja?lp av ett Speech-In-Noise-test (SIN-test) som bestod av tre deltest da?r enstaviga ord presenterades i en ofo?rdelaktig miljo? besta?ende av ro?ster som talande i mun pa? varandra.

Uppsatsen Män med män handlar om hur par bestående av män bildas i två svenska romaner, Jonas Gardells Präriehundarna (1987) och Bengt Martins Sodomsäpplet (1968). Det som studeras är gestaltningen av hur förhållandet mellan männen påverkas av heteronormen och hur heterosexuella förhållanden står som en motpol för parbildandet. Identitet och maskulinitet är andra ämnen som behandlas i uppsatsen som tittar på hur romanpersonernas identitetssökande gestaltas. Uppsatsen finner hur paret i Präriehundarna gestaltas att de starkt är påverkade av den heteronormativa och väljer att använda detta som ett sätt att utgå ifrån och ta avstånd från detta, men samtidigt har paret svårt att finna sig själva och vara bekväma i sin maskulinitet i en samkönad relation. I Sodomsäpplet finner uppsatsen tydliga bevis på att den kulturella kontexten påverkar stort i identifikation hos huvudpersonen och att Martins gestaltning är grundad i den samma.

This is a qualitative study based on interviews with teachers, social workers and school counselors ? with aim to analyze how norm critical social work is in schools. Gender and sexuality norms are in focus which is analyzed in a intersectional and queer theoretical perspective. The study shows that what is defined as a norm in the society varies both socially, historically and culturally. School is a reflection of its society and therefore also reflects its norms, such as heteronormativity and gender roles.

The aim of our study was to examine how homosexual and heterosexual men and women are represented in the Swedish magazine QX, a magazine for gay, bisexual and transgender people. We wanted to find out what kind of roles the persons in QX appears in, and inquire the relationships that exist between them.We analyzed the texts in twelve magazines, from December 2008 to November 2009, in order to get the most current results as possible. We used a discourse analysis, with focus on identities, relationships and the representation of the world. Representations, gender, hegemonic masculinity and stereotypes have been significant theories to analyze our results.The results showed that the successful gay man is the most important person in QX. He is the perfect masculine macho fagot, who is highest in rank.

This study deals with the compulsory reading of the public announcements in churches during the eighteens century. The focus is on the diocese of Skara. The ambition to make a comparison between the parish of Skara and the parish of Gårdstånga, earlier investigated by Elisabeth Reuterswärd, failed due to few archives from the parish of Skara. My study takes a broader perspective of the signification of the announcements to the reverends and to the churchgoers. It was an obligation to the reverend to read, collect and save the announcements and the churchgoers were by law obligated to go to church every Sunday.

This study constitutes an attempt to bring the notion of stupidity into relation with ethics and creativity, through a reading of Samuel Beckett's Endgame. Employing Emmanuel Lévinas' theories on ethics - the responsible responsiveness in regard to the Other and the concept of the Face - the objective is to demonstrate how stupidity, conceived as lack of control and knowledge, functions as a precondition for the ethical relation between humans, as well as that of the individual to her creativity..

The purpose of this study is to examine escort-business with a focus on sales of BDSM-services (Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, Sadism and Masochism). The study is based on qualitative interviews with three informants providing BDSM-services, as well as a survey with 96 men who requested domination of escorts (the survey was carried out by an escort in the 1980s). The analysis of this material resulted in the identification of three themes on which the study centers: The personal experiences of the three escorts, the interaction between the escorts and the clients, and the changes over time when it comes to the performance of BDSM-services. The study has a gender perspective with a focus on feminism and queer-theory. The important conclusions are that there are several differences between prostitution having a focus on BDSM-services and other prostitution.

This study aims to analyse textbooks used in the course Religious Education 1 in Swedish upper secondary schools. The textbooks were analysed by using qualitative content analysis. By using queer theory and the theory about ?homo religiosus?, the study examined which norms concerning sex, gender, sexuality and relationships the textbooks convey.            The study shows that the textbooks convey norms about sex and gender by portraying the men?s perspective when educating about the different religions. The women perspective is being discussed in a specific part of the chapters and is therefore being portrayed as different.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur Malmös högstadieskolor arbetar mot homofobi och heteronormativitet. Uppsatsen utgår från ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv och materialet består av två enkäter bland lärare och skolledare på sammanlagt tretton skolor. Resultaten tyder bl a på att kränkningar pga sexuell läggning och kön är vanliga på skolorna samt att lärarna nästan helt saknar utbildning och kompetensutveckling på området. Vidare saknas det sammanhållna strategier för likabehandlingsarbetet från skolledarnas sida, vilka i stället överlåter detta arbete på hugade lärare. Detta lämnar fältet öppet för de heteronormaliserande processerna upprätthållande av tystnader, patologisering av homosexualiteter och bevakning av genusgränser.

We conduct this analys by first reading through random seleceted ?Rocky? books and present some of the comic strips where men and women interact with each other or discuss the opposite sex..

The main purpose of this essay is to study how classroom interaction can take place in a class for Second Language Learners (SLL).1 I have applied a case study methodology on a linguistic method used by a Teacher in Swedish as Second Language working on a primary school situated in the Southern suburbs of Stockholm. The learning method is based on extensive reading of books which comprehend several learning techniques organized into a process that support the development of linguistic skills such as discussing in a group, writing, reading and thinking in a second language. The methodology applied is based on observations, on an interview with a Teacher in Swedish as Second Language and on a questionnaire answered by 11 students that participated on ?Boksamtal?.Based on a theoretical framework about socio cultural theories on learning and scaffolding,2 I attempt to integrate theory and practice to investigate how the Teacher succeed on applying effective methods for second language learning. Through the analyses of the data is also my intention to emphasize the advantages and disadvantages of such a method.

I den här uppsatsen undersöks fyra svenska som andraspråkslärares upplevelser av den australiska genrepedagogiken, vilken har nått stor framgång och spridits på skolor runt om i världen. Pedagogiken baseras på förvissningen att alla elever, i synnerhet andraspråkselever, behöver explicit undervisning för att utveckla sina läs- och skrivförmågor samt för att kunna tillägna sig kunskaperna inom de olika skolämnena.Mot bakgrund av genrepedagogikens spridning i Sverige, är mitt syfte att få kunskap om hur fyra verksamma svenska som andraspråkslärare upplever den australiska genrepedagogiken.Metoden som ligger till grund för min undersökning är fenomenografin och materialet utgörs av fyra ljudinspelade intervjuer, som sedan transkriberats.Resultaten visar att samtliga informanter är nöjda med metoden. Fördelarna är att genrepedagogiken lett till snabba resultat, tydliga måluppfyllelser såsom förbättrade grammatik- och skrivkunskaper, minskat klyftan mellan elever med olika bakgrund och bidragit till ett kollaborativt lärande. Det visade sig också att informanterna inte upplever några nackdelar med metoden, men däremot stött på några svårigheter. Samtliga upplevde att den stora skillnaden mellan deras tidigare arbetssätt och genrepedagogiken är att det tidigare arbetssättet var implicit till skillnad från genrepedagogiken som är explicit, vilket bidragit till att syftet med undervisningen blivit tydligare för både eleverna och lärarna.

This thesis investigates the reception of middle literature novels among critics in Swedish newspapers and at Swedish libraries. Works by three authors were chosen as representatives for middle literature: Helen Fielding, Nick Hornby and Tony Parsons. The investigation is based on interviews with librarians at the Gothenburg City Library, the total purchased number of books at public libraries in Sweden and analysis of Swedish newspaper reviews. The result is compared with theories by literary sociologists as Jofrid Karner Smidt, Janice Radway, Erland Munch-Petersen and Staffan Bergsten among others. It was found out that literary scientists and critics had a different way of looking at middle literature.

The aim of the study is to examine which present conceptions of sexuality there are in treatment of substance abuse for men. The intention is to examine how staff members in these environments perceive clients? sex and sexuality as well as studying if and in that case how they work with sexuality in treatment. A qualitative method formed the methodological approach and semistructured interviews were carried out for the collection of data. Four staff members from two different treatment institutions for substance abuse were interviewed.
