Familjens livssituation när ett barn i familjen har cancer - en litteraturstudie
Background: When a child gets cancer it involves the whole family. The view of family focused care has change over the years. It has been shown that the family needs support to manage their life situation, when their child is ill. Aim: The aim of this study was to illustrate the family?s life situation, when a child gets cancer.
Organisationsförändring och attityder : En fallstudie i en offentlig myndighet
Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe the change at Myndigheten and analyze its implementation to identify the employees' attitudes towards the change. The survey of attitudes is important to provide indicators of how they may affect the continued implementation of the process-oriented approach.Research methodology: This thesis is based on both quantitative and qualitative method. Surveys have been implemented on co-workers/employees and an interview has been implemented on a project participant.Theoretical framework: This thesis uses theories of organizations, organizational changes and attitudes.Conclusions: Both positive and negative attitudes are found for the employees and these attitudes are mainly weak. If Myndigheten makes interventions, it can help to minimize the negative consequences that the attitudes may lead to. By doing this the commitment for the change will increase, which is critical for the change to succeed..

SammanfattningTitel: Implementering av CRM utifrån ett värdeskapande perspektiv Nivå: Examensarbete för kandidatexamen i Företagsekonomi med inriktning marknadsföring skriven på Högskolan i Gävle Författare: Anna Strandberg & My Östh Handledare: Lars-Johan Åge, Jonas Molin & Jens Eklinder Frick Datum: Maj, 2014 Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att utifrån ett värdeskapande perspektiv skapa förståelse för hur företag implementerar CRM. Metod: Vi har genomfört semistrukturerade intervjuer och som en följd av detta är denna studie av en kvalitativ karaktär. Våra respondenter arbetar på företag som jobbar med CRM. Insamlad data är analyserad med analysmetoden Well Grounded Theory. Resultat & slutsats: Vid ett värdeskapande perspektiv arbetar företagen med ett kundfokus samt en ständigt vilja att skapa förståelse för sina kunder. Studien visar att företagen poängterar vikten av att lära känna sina kunder och få dem att bli lojala, som ett sätt att skapa värde. Ledningen bör involveras och agera föredömligt vid implementeringen av CRM och på så sätt skapa goda förutsättningar. Förslag till vidare forskning: Något som varit återkommande under studiens gång från respondenterna har varit engagemang och acceptans vid implementeringen av CRM.

AbstractIn 2013, the diagnosis of Asperger?s syndrome will be eliminated as a stand-alone diagnosis, to be subsumed into the existing diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this paper, a study with the objective of emphasizing current opinions regarding the change in diagnosis is performed. Another objective is to examine the connection between identity and diagnosis. The study therefore targets people with a diagnosis, in this case Asperger?s syndrome.The empirical material of the study has been collected through a quantitative web-based survey.
Kan en teaterproduktion vara socialt arbete? : en studie om KRAFT-projektet
This essay describes how theatre can be a tool in social work. The essay evaluates the Swed-ish KRAFT-project, a course for unemployed people with the goal to make them grow as in-dividuals by using drama exercises and performing a theatre play in front of an audience. The essay is a quantitative secondary study of the questionnaire used in the KRAFT-project. Through analysing the questionnaire the participants answered this essay tries to explain the results from a social psychological perspective. The essay also discusses how the participants? self-concept and self-esteem could have been affected by the KRAFT-project.
Fast Service in Fast Fashion-En kvantitativ studie av kundrespons till självserviceteknik i fast fashion
The success of self-service technology in retail grocery stores cannot be ignored, and the fact is that every other grocery store in Sweden has implemented the self-scanning or self-checkout systems. The trend is that the technique is spreading into other markets with potential to increase productivity for companies and enhance the service for customers. Fast fashion is one branch that is left untouched by the development in payment processes, and despite the leading companies extensive focus on fast service, the concept of self-service technology has not yet been tested. This paper undertake a quantitative, experimental approach to the issue and examines the effect self-checkout would have on Fast fashion- customers. By presenting a scenario with and without self- checkout and afterwards asked about the respondents experience, we can provide the marketing world with new insights.

The technological development contributes to an increase in advertising when it comes to media. Those who are working to develop advertising are constantly looking for new ways to reach consumers in unexplored contexts. Web TV is a relatively new technique that involves the distribution of television across the Internet. This study intend to investigate how users perceive advertising appearing on web TV, and contribute to the knowledge about how advertising adapt to new media. To reach the results of this study, we used quantitative data, collected in the form of web-surveys and qualitative data collected through semi-structured interviews.
Två kommunistiska partier i Sverige : Finns det någon ideologisk skillnad mellan SKP och KP?
This essay examines two communist parties in Sweden; The Communist Party (Kommunistiska partiet [KP]) and Sweden's Communist party (Sveriges kommunistiska parti [SKP]). Furthermore, this essay is a comparative study where the two parties' political agendas are compared. The method with which the study was conducted is a quantitative content analysis, where the frequencies of usage pertaining to certain words and expressions have been measured. The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx has also been compared to these two parties' political agendas concerning words and expressions. This was done in order to determine which of the examined parties stands closer to the aforementioned original document from an ideological perspective.

The purpose of our essay is to investigate and compare the general and operational risk management in the private and public sector. As an introduction to the subject we describe the differences and similarities between the two sectors. Our survey is based on the term risk, the definitions of risk management, its development and finally the process of risk management. Since our survey is focusing on operational risks we also describe the operational process and the specific operational risks.The method we used to investigate the subject is a quantitative method. A survey was sent to 100 companies in Sweden, of which 50 were private companies and 50 were public companies.

The aim of this study was to get a survey and a deeper understanding of students? choice of language at upper secondary school, as well as their attitude and motivation to the German language. The rapports of diminished interests in studying languages at upper secondary school raised our interest in how to go against this and motivate students to actually choose to study a language. The study parted from a student perspective with focus on learning, attitude and motivation. A quantitative study with 168 pupils from 11 secondary schools in Halmstad as well as short interviews with their teachers have been used and analysed.Our study showed that students are not particular interested in German.

Facebook has over 665 million users worldwide and has created a new venue for companies to interact with their stakeholders. However, since it is a new phenomenon it brings some uncertainty and confusion as how to manage the communication on Facebook, and it is only recently that research and literature has become available on this topic.The purpose of this study is to investigate how three chosen companies within the travel industry communicate on Facebook. We also compare the results to the existing literature to see how they can improve from a theoretical point of view. We thereby hope to shed a light on, and add knowledge to, a research area where we have identified weaknesses. In order to fulfill our purpose, we used a quantitative content analysis as well as qualitative interviews.The major findings in our study on Facebook communication include a lack of strategy and target audience awareness, as well as a self-centered communication.

Vem dokumenterar? - Barnen!
Syftet med genomförda studie är att undersöka om barn kan få ökat inflytande i förskolan genom att med hjälp av kamera själva dokumentera sin verksamhet. Dokumentation i förskolan utförs oftast av vuxna, men i studien vänds detta på genom att låta barnen dokumentera. Utgångsdiskurs och perspektiv är kompetensdiskursen och barns perspektiv. I förskolans nyligen reviderade läroplan framgår det att förskolan är skyldig att dokumentera verksamheten och följa upp dokumentationen, samt att barn i förskolan har rätt till inflytande över verksamheten. Den genomförda studien använder kvalitativ metod för att kunna uppmärksamma det unika och avvikande i barnens fotografier, och för att kunna förstå hur barnen upplever sin vardag på förskolan.
Ungdomars syn på sex. En kvalitativ studie av sju invandrarungdomar
Syftet med vår uppsats är att intervjua ungdomar som har en utländsk bakgrund, tjejer och killar i 18-års ålder på en gymnasieskola i Malmö. Vi vill studera hur de tänker, resonerar och förhåller sig kring frågor som har med sexualitet och intima relationer att göra. Detta genomfördes med en kvalitativstudie och den grundas på sju ungdomar.
För att analysera vår empiri har vi använt oss av sociologen Anthony Giddens perspektiv på den moderna synen på sexualitet och kärleksideologin. Sedan även av Nader Ahmadi som diskuterar föräldrarnas svårigheter till att komma till en ny omgivning och möta en ny attityd till sex och Pierre Bourdieu begrepp, habitus.
Sexuell Hälsa i Nationella Kvalitetsregister
The aim of the thesis was to identify whether, and if so how, aspects of sexual health (reproductive health and cohabitation) are compiled in the National Quality Register and identify reasons for this. A quantitative method has been applied to go through the registers annual reports. In the first part of the thesis, the registers annual reports was mapped with the help of a checklist designed through World Health Organizations (WHO) definition of sexual health. In the second part, a questionnaire was sent to those responsible for each register to find reasons to why and how sexual health is included in the National Quality Registers. The result shows that sexual health is not usually included in the register data, although the survey showed that most registers brought up aspects that could affect the current target group's sexual health.
