Even if the main purpose is to decide if the companies profitability and financial position is a determining factor for its growth, the purpose is to determine if there are any differences between big and small companies in there economical positions then they grow, in the selected industry. This thesis is mainly a quantitative study. The selected industry for the study is extraction of turf. The financial measurement that most clearly differ the growing companies from the not growing companies or the companies that didn?t change there amount of employees was the returns of the companies own capital. It was also the returns of the companies own capital there the main difference existed between the big and the small companies.

Studien handlar om elevers tankar och upplevelser kring elevinflytande på fritidshem. Syftet är att se hur elevers tankar och upplevelser kommer till uttryck i verksamheten. Metoderna som har används i undersökningen är samtalspromenader där elevers tankar och upplevelser ska lyftas fram.Därför har vi valt demokrati och elevinflytande som argumenterande forskning för vår studie. Vårt teoretiska perspektiv är barns perspektiv som används för att se elevernas erfarenheter, uppfattningar och förståelse av sin livsvärld.I studien framgår det att eleverna har inflytande när det gäller vissa saker på fritidshemmet. Eleverna har även en viss förståelse kring begreppet inflytande och fritidslärarna har goda möjligheter att bygga vidare på detta utifrån elevernas perspektiv..

Background: In 2001 the European Commission presented legislation to require use of IASB standards named IAS/IFRS for all listed parent companies within the EU no later than 2005, to improve an internal market for financial services within the EU. This harmonisation of the accounting regulations answers to the social development of today with land-frontiers easier to cross, increased demands on an open financial market and the companies searching for risk capital outside the boundaries of the own country. International comparisons within accounting have consequently become more of current interest and necessary. When the requirement to use the IASB standards only is intended for the group accounting the remaining question is according to which regulations the parent companies will set up their annual financial reports. In Statens Offentliga Utredningar 2003:71(Swedish Government Official Reports) the parent companies are suggested to be given an opportunity to apply IAS/IFRS also in the annual financial report.

Syftet med denna empiriska studie har varit att belysa hur barn talar om kärlek, sexualitet och relationer, samt hur pedagoger arbetar och interagerar med elever för att utvecklas tillsammans i dessa frågor. Viktigt under studien har varit att titta på olika sorters relationer och hur dessa skapas i sociala sammanhang. Detta har skapat två frågeställningar som besvarats i studien: Hur arbetar pedagoger med dessa ämnen i lärandesituationer? Och hur resonerar några enskilda barn kring kärlek, sexualitet och relationer utifrån barns perspektiv?Den etnografiska fältstudiens metoder har applicerats genom observationer samt djupintervjuer med två barn och en vuxen har genomförts och sedan använts som grund för vidare analys och diskussion.Resultaten visar att barnen resonerar olika kring dessa ämnen och att pedagogerna arbetar på skilda sätt i lärandesituationer där dessa ämnen tas upp. Vidare belyses samtalet och kommunikationen som viktiga beståndsdelar för att skapa förtroende mellan barn och pedagog i skolans verksamheter..

The purpose of this study was to determine if wellness benefits led to any changes in exercise habits among employed postmen. The study was a cross-sectional study carried out by a quantitative method. The collection of data took the form of a questionnaire. The sample consisted of 30 postmen employed at a post office in northern Sweden. The results show that of the postman who use health care benefits, there has been a relatively small change in exercise habits.

This study intends to find out how you can make use of rhetorical models and techniques of photography to enhance the communication skills of photos of hotel rooms. The main focus was to understand the difference between informative and emotional photographs and what consumers themselves focus on when choosing a hotel, and also how to use the collected information to create a larger buying interest through hotel photography. Topics regarding social media, its impact on society at large ? both on corporate as well as individual behavior ? has been the focus of many research papers. The aim of our study is (i) to map how companies and/or organizations operating on the Swedish market use their company?s pages on the social media as a way of communicating with their followers and audience, as well as (ii) identifying whether ?Real-Time Marketing?, in our own definition, is used or not.Methods: The research methods used included both quantitative and qualitative content analysis.

Barns inflytande i förskolan är ett aktuellt ämne som dessutom anses vara otroligt komplext, både att förstå begreppet och att arbeta med. Vårt syfte är att synliggöra de normer som kännetecknar en verksamhet där barn får möjlighet till inflytande och vilka konsekvenser det får för verksamheten. Arbetet tar avstamp i kulturanalytisk teori och utifrån ett normkritiskt perspektiv diskuteras sedan resultatet. Vi har utfört en mikroetnografisk studie och data har samlats in med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer och observationer. Empirin har samlats in på två avdelningar på två olika förskolor.

AbstractSedan Kubas revolution 1959 har landet genomgått stora förändringar. Denna uppsatsundersöker hur utvecklingen av Kubas sjuk- och hälsovårdssystem mellan åren 1959-1996 harpåverkats av såväl interna som externa faktorer. Detta har gjorts ur ett empiriskt och ettteorikonsumerande perspektiv. Statistik har legat till grunden för den empiriska delen och deteoretiska perspektiv som används är hämtade ur legitimitetsteori, biståndsteori ochsanktionsteori. I denna uppsats har vi använt oss av ett avvikande-perspektiv på Kubas sjuk-och hälsovårdssystem.

Crises and scandals in companies such as Enron in the US and Skandia in Sweden have resulted in new regulations regarding how companies should be governed. These regulations have been established in Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) in the US, and in Sweden the Swedish code for corporate governance will be implemented in 2005. The regulations imply that companies must provide sound internal control and to accomplish that, companies should have an auditing and consulting internal audit function.
