The competition for customers in today?s society is growing rapidly. Companies invest a great amount of time and recourses to establish and preserve a strong brand. Repositioning is a process that today is necessary for virtually all brands at some point during its lifetime and is about to change a customer's perception of a brand name, by changing its associations. The goal is to create a new, stronger position for the existing brand.

The purpose of this study is to portray conflict managing associated with children in a small class and what problems they may face each day at school. What types of conflicts and what consequences do teachers practice? This study is based on these following questions:Is there any difference for solving/measure for students with psychosocial problems or ADHD in a conflict or does teachers still works with the same methods?What types of conflict solving does schools use?What is important to consider with students in a small class who has psychosocial problems and ADHD to prevent conflicts?Summary: To answer my questions in this study, I´ve used qualitative methods, interviews and observations. I have used my cellphone for recording the interviews so that all content from the informers are accurate. My theoretical points concerns on having strict rules both inside and outside the classroom.

The aim of this study was to quantify the productivity and the costs of different harvesting systems (teams), containing harvesters equipped with accumulating harvester heads and forwarders, in first commercial thinnings were an integrated harvest of pulpwood and energy wood were performed. In the beginning the plan was to study and measure 20 sites before and after harvest. Due to storms during the summer of 2010, complete data could only be obtained from 8 of these 20 sites. Seven of these sites were privately owned and one was owned by UPM, all of the sites had been pre-commercially thinned. The mean stem density before harvest was 2578 stems per ha and the mean stem volume was 0.074 m3solid over bark.On average 1518 stems/ha was harvested.

There are several ways of conducting software testing where some may include users and others may include personnel whose work task is to execute test on systems. Although most developers and project managers understand the point of testing the system, it is not always being done and the most common reason is that there is no time for it. However, this is a false assumption as it may instead cause some bugs in the system that would not have been there in the first place if tests had been there to prevent bugs in the code.My purpose for this thesis was to find suggestions for changes in the development process in an ongoing project used by Acino and Svenska Försäkringsfabriken in order to increase the quality of the system used. In this thesis, I have approached the purpose by pursuing a case study of the two companies through observation and interviews. By doing this I acquired the relevant information to make suggestions for change.

Background: Home health care means that patients receive care in their home. Äldrevårdsenheten in Uppsala County treats people, over 65 years, in the patient's home and because of the fact that the quality of care from the patient´s perspective not have been studied previously, this study as part of the quality control of the business.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate how patients, and family members, who receive care within the Äldrevårdsenheten in Uppsala County experiencing the care provided in the home.Method: Interview study with qualitative analysis.Results: Patients who are cared for within the Elderly Care Unit in Uppsala County Council has a positive experience of home care. Being cared for in the home creates a sense of security and calm in the patients rather than the stress and fear of long waits in the emergency department and planning advice from medical appointments . In contrast, perceived lack of physicians in home care and accessibility to health care staff.Conclusion: In general, patients in the Elderly Care Unit in Uppsala County Council very pleased with the opportunity to the treatment they received at home. However, there are some weaknesses that need improvement. .

Direktivet är avsiktligen detaljrikt för att kunna nyttjas för utbildning. Samtidigt ska det utgöra ett verktyg för erfarna planerare att kunna värdera alla faktorer i komplexa operationer och därigenom ge högkvalitativa operationsplaner på både strategisk och operativ nivå. Framtagandet av ett koncept för ledning är en central del i framtagande av operationens plan. Men för att kunna ta fram ett koncept måste operationens ledningsbehov tas fram.

If no problems are registered, you cannot trace where the problems arise.This master thesis was performed at AcobiaFLUX and they have noticed an increased demand from their customers to trace problems raised in their processes. The aim of the thesis was to find out how a tool to monitor a process best could be developed. Then the most essential from the theoretical base was developed into a useful tool for operators. For the operators to know if the process utilizes the full capacity of a process, the tool presents a measure of the Overall Equipment Efficiency, OEE.

Till miljöanalyser går det att använda ortofoton från olika år för att göra jämförelser och se förändringar i miljön. Lantmäteriet har ett arkiv med flygbilder från 1930 fram till nutid. Med hjälp av självkalibrering är det möjligt att skapa ortofoton av de äldsta av dessa bilder som saknar data gällande kamera. Data för kameran som använts är nödvändig för att skapa ortofoton. Syftet med studien är att undersöka metoder för att återskapa kameraparametrar för den inre orienteringen i gamla flygbilder från 1940-talet.

This study is a part of a larger project where the aim has been to evaluate different methods to assure the quality in stallion semen, due to the fact that some stallions in horse breeding have poor semen quality. The increased use of transport semen requires new methods to ensure good semen quality. In this part of the project the viability and concentration in fresh and cooled semen was examined with NucleoCounter SP-100. A comparison between two different commercially available semen extenders, Kenney?s and INRA 96, was made.

The New York Times and Dagens Nyheter has been chosen mainly because they operates within different national media markets, secondly they are well known for their high journalistic standard. Based on the upcoming result, it's in our concern to illuminate these possible changes effect on the overall journalistic quality and discuss its importance. We aim to reveal the actual state of tabloidization in the two high quality newspapers The New York Times and Dagens Nyheter and thus answer the following questions:- In which way are the elements of tabloidization shown in The New York Times and Dagens Nyheter in a contemporary context as well under a twelve years period?- Based on the achieved results, what are the main differences between the two examined newspapers and what potential impact could it have on the journalistic quality?Method/Material: In order to perform this study, we have executed a quantitative study built on content analysis of the two newspapers front pages.

Sedan Plan- och bygglagen infördes år 1987 så har samtliga svenska kommuner haft översiktsplaner som fungerar som vägledande dokument för detaljplaneringen inom kommunen. Stockholms stad är vid skrivandet av detta arbete inne på sin tredje översiktsplan, men någon djupare utvärdering av de två tidigare översiktsplanerna har aldrig gjorts. Denna rapport är därför en fallstudie av Översiktsplan 99, och valet av denna plan grundar sig på att den ligger nära i tiden, men den är sedan ganska nyligen ersatt av en ny plan och är därför enkel att avgränsa tidsmässigt under åren 1999 till och med 2010. Syftet med arbetet är att kvantitativt granska den bostadsbebyggelse som har skett i Stockholms stad under planens aktualitetsperiod och de av staden uppsatta stadsbyggnadsmålen sedda från ett bostadsperspektiv. If Internet earlier was used in the purpose to entertain it is now accepted as an essential business tool and companies are investing more of its resources in e-commerce activities. Everyone ?has to be on the net? today but that implies a challenge in matching e-solutions to the company?s business goals. It is necessary to have clear goals, carry out research and plan a strategy in order to operate an optimal e-commerce website for the company?s needs.The purpose with this dissertation was to see how well companies adjust to new demands in the rapidly changing e-environment.

Lite mindre än en femtedel av Sveriges befolkning utgörs av personer som är över 65 år och av dessa bor cirka 6,2 % i särskilda boendeformer. Syftet med studien var att undersöka faktorer som är av betydelse för livskvaliteten för äldre på särskilt boende. Metoden som använts var en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats som inbegrep åtta vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna analyserades med innehållsanalys inspirerad av Graneheim och Lundman (2004). Resultatet presenteras utifrån de fyra kategorierna; vikten av personlig trygghet, denna rubrik sammanfattar vad som påverkar om den äldre känner sig trygg på det särskilda boendet, betydelsen av mellanmänskliga relationer, denna rubrik innefattar hur äldre upplever kontakten med personal, familj och övriga vänner.

Scania is among the leading companies in the heavy vehicle industry. Scania also assemble engines for their trucks and buses, as well as to external marine and industrial applications. Wrongly assembled parts leads to quality problems, which makes it important to secure that the assembly is correct. To do this Design For Assembly (DFA) is used to describe how parts should become easier to assemble. Scania?s production unit for engine assembly has had a working method for DFA in the shape of a checklist, which is not used.

Syftet med vårt arbete har varit att beskriva hur kommunerna kvalitetssäkrar den interna kontrollen. Utifrån syftet har vi formulerat problemformuleringen. Kvalitetssäkrar kommuner sin interna kontroll och i så fall hur och med vilka aktiviteter utförs det? Vi valde att göra vår uppsats med hjälp av fallstudiemetoden. Vi utförde intervjuerna i tre kommuner och där intervjuade vi tre ekonomiansvarig/personer som arbetar med den interna kontrollen samt tre sakkunniga revisorer.
