How drinking behaviour in automatic milk feeders can be used as early disease detection
Healthy calves are the foundation in order to run a profitable diary production. Being healthy as calf results in a better start in life and good growth is expected to follow. Within dairy production it becomes more common to rear calves in groups and feed them by an automatic milk feeder. The milk feeder enables for the calves in greater extent to ingest milk or milk replacer several times per day and they are also able to perform natural behaviors in greater extent. Group rearing of calves Puts higher demands on the animal keepers to localize individual calves in the group pen, showing signs of illness.

Towards the end of the 1960s, the credit financed purchase was well established in Sweden. The legislator also introduced liability for damages caused by a creditor in the collection process.

"Malmös nya miljardkomplex" : Om strategisk kommunikation och förankringsmetodik i ett mångkulturellt samhälle
In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.
Konstruktion av serviceutrustning till tunnelborrningsmaskin
The Master Thesis work this report is based upon has been conducted in cooperation with Svea Teknik AB. Svea Teknik is a consultant firm which is developing parts of a tunnel boring machine on behalf of Atlas Copco. The machine is being developed to mechanically excavate hard rock by fixating itself in the tunnel and then press a large rotating cutter-wheel equipped with disc-cutters against the tunnel wall. The disc-cutters are the tools that are in direct contact with the hard rock and are therefore exposed to extensive wear and needs to be replaced on a regular basis.The purpose of this Master Thesis has been to develop a service equipment that will enable time effective and safe changes of disc-cutters. The disc-cutters have a diameter of 17 inches and weigh about 130 kg.
Utformning och visualisering av ett kvarter i tingvallastaden : brf. Panorama
Detta examensarbete handlar om utformning av ett kvarter som är gjort på uppdrag av Peab Sverige AB. Kvarteret Negern ligger i Tingvallastaden i centrala Karlstad och idag finns på platsen en gammal tryckeribyggnad och parkeringsgarage. Området gruppen utformat är 2600 m2 stort och skall inrymma ett 60-tal lägenheter. Målgruppen för arbetet är hushåll med två personer, därför kom det att bli tvåor och treor i alla plan utom i det översta där det kommer att vara två fyror.Arbetet resulterade i två punkthus (se figur 1) om åtta respektive nio våningar i varje och ovanpå dessa en stor takterrass. Fasaderna består av ljus Puts och bottenplan av granitplattor, för att ge tyngd åt byggnaderna och för att motverka klotter.På innergården finns det bland annat fontän, grill och lekplatser.

Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

Problem area and purposeNowadays, 2006, the downloading of music and movies is an increasingly more burning issue. But while the music industry has made great progress in using the Internet as a distribution channel the film industry has been at a standstill for several years. Recently however there has been progress in the form of a few film companies beginning to offer their customers legal ways to acquire films over the Internet. But with this progress one central question arises, which this report will try to answer; what are the important factors for selling films as the Internet moves from primarily being a information channel to also functioning as a distribution channel? The purpose is to examine what the consumers find important when purchasing film, and to establish to what degree there is a substitution effect between DVDs and downloadable films.MethodThe report is first and foremost based on an Internet survey with a total of 383 participants.

The topic of this master thesis in legal science is state law and constitutional law, or more specific judicalization, with the division of power and thus increased individual legal rights in various forms. Sweden has traditionally had a weak constitutional protection for the individual?s legal rights. The public power has been concentrated to the government and the courts have only played a marginal role. Since the implementation of the European convention of legal rights and with the ever-increasing importance of the legal system of the European Union, the Swedish legal system gone through changes of historical dimensions.This master thesis is based on the legal dogmatic method where laws, preparatory work, case law and doctrines have been systemized.
Nedfästning av oljemåleri på puts.En fallstudie från salongen på Mostorps slott i Halland
This thesis, designed as a case study, is about complications concerning conservation of a decorative oil paint on lime plaster from the drawing-room in Mostorp castle sited in the county of Halland in south-west of Sweden. The building was built 1878-80 with an exterior of granite. The interior walls were made of clay bricks, lime mortar and lime plaster. The oil paint is applied to a layer of putty. The combination of different materials, which are organic and inorganic, affects the movement caused by internal and external stress.

In the 1969 Le Thor seminar, Heidegger stated that his philosophical journey could be characterized by three different themes: meaning, truth, place. The first two of these have been the subject of countless studies and discussions, but the question of place is still relatively unexplored in Heidegger?s thought, despite the increased interest for this topic in his writings. Even though scholars like Jeff Malpas, Edward Casey, Stuart Elden and Miguel de Beistegui have written books and essays on the importance of the conception of place in Heidegger?s thinking, there are still many important aspects of this theme to be discussed, given the importance Heidegger himself ascribed to this topic.In this essay, I therefore wish to pose the question of how one can understand the relation between place and the role of tragedy in Heidegger?s conception of truth.

Fuktsäkerhet är ett växande begrepp inom byggbranschen och det läggs ner mer och mer tidpå att konstruktioner ska bli fuktsäkra. Fukt är komplicerat att beräkna och det kan därförunderlätta att använda ett beräkningsprogram som hjälpmedel. Wufi är ett tysktfuktberäkningsprogram som nyligen har utkommit i en svensk version. Detta program harWSP investerat i för att lättare kunna bedöma fuktsäkerheten i konstruktioner. WSP varintresserade av en studie av Wufi för att underlätta introduktionen av programmet i företaget.Målet med rapporten är att klargöra hur grundläggande parametrar ska beaktas i programmetoch hur tillförlitligt programmet är. För att möjliggöra en bedömning av programmet inleddes arbetet med självstudie avprogrammet, som avslutades med en kort utbildning i programmet.

We are currently more aware than ever about the impact of food on our health, but in the same time this trend put more pressure on the food retailers to do as much as possible to help their customers manage their weight and be healthy in general.
This study aims to examine the corporate social responsibility for consumer health in food retailing, in which ways the companies promote healthy eating; in what extent they do it and also the motives for companies for corporate responsibility. The empirical study is limited to the market leading companies in Sweden, Coop and ICA, because the performance of the leading companies Puts them in the strongest position to profit from shifting consumer trends, grow revenues and penetrate new markets and also enable them to make a strong case for the effectiveness of voluntary action, obviating the need for government intervention.
A qualitative method was used in this study to get an accurate understanding how the food retailers take social responsibility for consumers health. The study is based on interviews with experts in the food retailers Coop and ICA, and the companies reporting in this area, annual reports, corporate responsibility reports and websites.
Ett varv på Beckholmen
Reparationsvarv.Beckholmen kan på grund av sin historia anses vara en ofta hänsynslöst behandlad ö. Hänsynslös mot öns natur och egna ordning, för att ständigt fylla ny funktion och nya ändamål. Idag är ön starkt märkt av denna behandling, och i kontrast till tidigare, ansedd som en oerhört känslig plats, både i sin natur och exponering för staden. Staden själv ser olika värden i Beckholmen, vilka står i stark strid med varandra. Att vilja bevara Beckholmen som en ö med skärgårdsframtoning, som en förlängning av Djurgården, i kontrast till det kulturhistoriska värdet i Beckholmens tidigare varvsverksamhet som bör fortskrida och utvecklas, gör det nödvändigt att på något sätt välja sida i frågan.Vi har fått i uppgift att rita ett reparationsvarv på denna ö, och för mig kändes det mest naturliga att låta den dramatik och förändring som funnits genom historien fortskrida.
Event som Marknadskommunikation - Din Guide till Eventgalaxen: En kvantitativ studie som testar hur ansträngningsgrad påverkar uppkomsten av kommunikationseffekter
Event marketing's ability to create strong communication effects is a well-known fact and a contributing factor to its popularity in the world of marketing today. But while we know that it is the interaction between consumers and the brand within the scope of live marketing that gives rise to loyalty and purchase intention, we have no knowledge in how the company's efforts affect the outcome. As the investments in event marketing are growing at a comparatively high pace, it is urgent to obtain a deeper understanding and a sense of direction of the elements infuencing its success.In this study we investigate in what way and to what extent the amount of effort that a company Puts into the making of an event is used as a signal of manufactor credibility, ability (i.e., expertise) and consumer care. And in what way and to what extent the perceived effort influence purchase intent, attitude and word-of-mouth. We also analyze marketing events in terms of the theory of equitable exchange and "desperation", a subject matter thus far only touched upon.As we identify two different types of events on the market today, we include both in our study: the in-store promotion related event and the party event, which is held in an external venue.
