World wide globalization and the rapid development of the Internet have lead to significant changes for companies around the world. The world has ?shrunk? and increased supply of goods and services has lead to a more intense competitive situation. As the market changes, so does consumer behavior. Today?s consumers do no longer wish to be treated as a group, rather they are looking for products and services that specifically fit their personal values.Recent years, the consumption of digital consumer electronics has sky-rocketed.

Bakgrund: IT och Internet har under de senaste åren fått en alltmer ökande betydelse och påverkar idag samhället i stor utsträckning. Chile har anammat den nya teknologin men det finns idag problem för småföretagen att identifiera sig med IT och integrera det i sina företag. Då småföretagen utgör en stor del av den chilenska ekonomin är det viktigt att dessa företag inser vilken potential IT har och på vilket sätt IT kan gynna deras verksamhet. Syfte: Syftet med vår studie är att beskriva chilenska småföretags IT-mognad och belysa småföretagens möjligheter och begränsningar att använda sig av IT. Genomförande: Studien genomfördes i Chile i november och december år 2002.

Med den växande internet- och mobilmarknaden harpublic service bolagen inom media följt publiken till att erbjuda sina tjänster via både internet och mobil. För Sveriges Radio har de snabbt växande marknaderna inneburit en problematik för ekonomi- och verksamhetsstyrningen. Problematiken härrör i produktivitetsmåttet, som tidigare tagit hänsyn till sändningstimmar. I och med att Sveriges Radio utöver radiosändningar idag erbjuder tjänster på internet och mobil är det svårt att beräkna företagets totala produktivitet på ett tillfredställande sätt. Syftet med denna uppsats är därför att utreda den problematik som finns med att mäta produktivitet i public service sammanhang och att formulera nya mått för att mäta produktivitet i den internetbaserade verksamheten.

ABSTRACT Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to examine and explain which consumers who choose to, or not choose to, shop for clothes via Internet. This will give businesses, and the reader, a better understanding on the views, of customers, on E-business with clothes. Procedure: A quantitative market research has been performed through a survey. Also the gathering of the material and the analysis is done with quantitative methods. The primary sources dominate the thesis.

The use of Internet by children and teenagers has become a special field of interest. Certain risks are associated with young peoples use of this media and national and international measures have been taken to assess and counter these risks.Library and informationscience have approached the subject of risks by looking at different software´s, so called Internet filters, that is used to control and censor the access to Internet based resources. In the USA, where public services and institutions that provide Internet resources to children and youth have started to require censorship of the Internet, a debate has arisen concerning the use of so called Internet filters.The theoretical basis of this master´s thesis is related to the conception of risk, gender and childhood. The focus of the paper lies on young peoples use of information and communication technology (ICT) and how risks associated with young peoples use of the Internet is constructed by different parties involved in supplying Internet resources. By means of a case study at a primary school in Skåne and at the company Netscan in Malmö.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av ChalmersAppen, en applikation för smarttelefoner med operativsystemet Android. Studenter på Chalmers tekniska högskola har behov av att nå flera olika webbsidor på Internet. Med tanke på att smarttelefoner ökar bland studenter kan studietiden underlättas med hjälp av en applikation som samlar den viktigaste informationen från de mest använda webbsidorna på ett ställe. Målet med ChalmersAppen var att den skulle utföra denna uppgift och vara användarvänlig.Som underlag till framtagandet av applikationen genomfördes en enkätundersökning bland studenterna. Undersökningen visade att det fanns intresse för en sådan applikation och vilka funktioner som var viktigast att ha med.

The purpose of this study is to find out how some Swedish preschool teacher discussing how children's Swedish colloquial interaction can be enhanced in the free play. In this case where children are aged three to five.My research questions in the study are:-          What type of free play do preschool teachers talk about in relation to children's Swedish colloquial development?-          What do preschool teachers say about child's colloquial interaction?-           How do preschool teachers reason regarding in what environment children?s colloquial interaction occurs?In my study I have used an interview with elements of a visual method called The Diamond. The approach is that the participants in the interview will be enhanced to discussing about a wise certain number of images. These images are then to be ranked accordingly with a specific theme and terms.If a child has difficult to speak, you can take help of  the interest the child has, the child can tell you and the other children what he or she know about the interest.

I den här rapporten beskrivs hur elever mellan åtta och tolv år upplever användningen av datorn och Internet i skolan. Genom att studera användningen av Internet med hjälp av intervjuer, deltagande observationer och informella samtal har författaren i den här rapporten valt att utifrån elevernas perspektiv beskriva deras situation. Utifrån den etnografiska studie och de konstruktionistiska teorier författaren gjort utnyttjas sedan erfarenheter från utbildningstiden för att försökta skapa ett koncept om hur ett framtida klassrum skulle kunna komma att se ut. Undersökningar har gjorts om hur information, kunskaper och erfarenheter utbyts i klassrummet och vilken betydelse det har för användningen av Internet. Men även hur elevernas själva utvecklas och skapar sig ett kritiskt tänkande och att lära sig sortera, för dem, relevant information.

This project is about investigation and improvement of a V-plow for the company Swekip. A V- plow is used for snow removal but this product has been found to have deficiencies in its construction, breaking down and not living up to the desired objectives. This is because the product is ordered from a company in China where they have some problems with understanding the purpose of the plow.Initially the existing plow is investigated, all the shortcomings set out and examined, what is wrong and what needs improvement?When the solutions were done they were evaluated and examined that they actually live up to the desired requirements.This assignment is a pure construction project where the majority is implemented in CAD, where models are developed and FE analyses are carried out. But the project also includes a feasibility study, idea study and hydraulic design.The results are presented in the form of a CAD model and associated drawings that will serve as the manufacturing basis for the new V-plow.

The empirical material has then been analysed by applying a two step method, of first making a summary of the interviews and secondly making a comparison with a model of Lennart Weibull ?a typology of the Swedish mediasystem from an audience perspectiv? .Main results:Two different types of ideal media users can be drawn from the empirical research, the ?Investigator? and the ?Updater?. The updater search for news to stay updated and relies on the Internet as main source of information.

Avsikten med denna uppsats har varit att ta reda på vilken betydelse Internet har för ungdomar vad gäller deras formande av identitet och sociala relationer. För att ta reda på vilken effekt Internet har i dessa avseenden behövde vi ta reda på hur mycket tid tonåringar tillbringar på Internet, vad de gör på Internet och hur mycket insyn vuxenvärlden har i deras Internetanvändande. Vår undersökningsgrupp är tonåringar i åldern 13-16. Vi har bedrivit en tvådelad undersökning varav den ena delen utgjorts av en enkätundersökning och den andra delen av en fältstudie på mötesplatsen Lunarstorm. Enkäten, som innehöll frågor kring ungdomarnas Internetvanor, fylldes i av 65 högstadieelever.

Syftet med detta arbete var att utifrån det teknologiskifte som Internet inneburit och allmänhetens därmed ökade tillgång till musik belysa hur skivbolagens situation förändrats. En fallstudie av två skivbolag baserat på intervjuer genomfördes. Något kortfattat visar studien att ny teknologi skapat nya distributionsvägar, minskat etableringshindren till musikbranschen och minskat skivbolagens kontroll över deras produkter. Piratkopiering kan ses som ett hot mot skivbolagens verksamhet, men kan också fungera som en marknadsföringskanal för dessa. Skivbolag har med rättsliga åtgärder försökt hindra piratkopiering och fildelning, men den strategin kan ses som kortsiktig.
