Considering that the price and demand for energy gradually has risen over the past decade and a wider discussion about the human impact on the environment has become increasingly more important and given a clearer role in modern society. This has contributed to increased incentives to reduce the use of fossil fuels and increase the use of renewable energy.The agriculture currently accounts for 20 % of Sweden's total greenhouse gas emissions. A way for an agricultural company like Wapnö AB to reduce their emissions could be to utilize existing renewable energy sources within their own premises.The report's aim is to create an energy audit of Wapnö?s existing energy system and how it changes with a future biogas plant in operation. The energy audit is used to illustrate how the company?s climate footprint could change.

The work thesis was performed at Assalub a company which is situated in Åtvidaberg. The company works with developing, manufacturing and marketing equipment for handling of lubricants for light and heavier industry. The work thesis it is based on a inquiry Assalub got from MacGregor which is a company within cargo solution, from port to offshore system.For unloading grain and other material from the ship cargo it is used combined inlet feeder and screw conveyor, there the inlet feeder is drilling down through the cargo and feed the screw conveyer with material to further destination. At the bottom of the screw conveyer and the inlet feeder there is a bearing that keep the parts together. However the lubrication of the bearing must be made manually.

SammanfattningBakgrund: Långvarig smärta är en individuell upplevelse och kan orsakas av skador eller sjukdomar, och är ihållande mer än tre månader. Detta kan innebära att det blir svårt att klara av sina vardagliga aktiviteter då funktionsförmågan kan försämras, vilket kan medföra ett lidande för individen.Syfte: Syfte med studien var att belysa individers upplevelser av långvarig smärta.Metod: En systematisk litteratur studie genomfördes och 14 kvalitativa studier kvalitetsgranskades utifrån Forsberg och Wengströms (2013) checklista för kvalitativa studier. Artiklar analyserades enligt Axelssons (2012) metod som innebär att gå från helhet till delar och till slut komma fram till en ny helhet, detta resulterade sedermera i sex teman.Resultat: Att leva med långvarig smärta kunde påverka och begränsa individens liv både fysiskt, psykiskt och socialt. Smärtan gjorde att individerna försökte anpassa sin vardag genom att hitta strategier för att hantera sin smärta. En del beskrev bristande förståelse från både anhöriga och vårdpersonal.Slutsats: Genom att lyssna och vara lyhörda kan sjuksköterskor öka sin förståelse för hur individer upplever långvarig smärta.

Gunsta is situated about 10 km east of Uppsala. Today there are plans to establish 1000 new households in Gunsta before year 2030. The required energy for heating houses and water would be distributed via a district heating system, which also includes 200 existing residences. The annual required energy, according to this study, would be 16.2 GWh with a maximal peak effect of 6.9 MW. To meet this need, the study suggests a system with heat Pumps to upgrade the 31?C water from a 1.8 kilometre deep borehole.

Stridsfordon 90 är ett militärfordon som BAE Systems Hägglunds i Örnsköldsvik har utvecklat och startades att produceras år 1993. Fordonet vidareutvecklas och tillverkas än idag och på grund av ökade krav på skydd och eldkraft har fordonets tjänstevikt ökat kraftigt. Från den första versionen av fordonet, Mark 1 (ca 23 ton) till senaste versionen Mark 3 (ca 35 ton). Den ökade vikten påverkar en rad av olika komponenter i fordonet och dess prestanda men det är framförallt drivlina och fjädringssystem som påverkas mest. Fordonet har i sin drivlina slutväxlar som växlar ned rotationshastigheten från motorns transmission och överför på så vis ett ökat drivmoment ut till drivhjul och band.

Alnarp?s Healing Garden is a place for rehabilitation as well as an ongoing multidisciplinary scientific research experiment. The garden is built on research results from the disciplines of Landscape architecture, Environmental Psychology and Garden Therapy. In the garden, people diagnosed with burnout syndromes are being rehabilitated. The participants need safe and calm environments which activate their bodies self healing systems. Theories show that water as an element, per se, increases the observer?s preference for an environment.

There is something magical about shoes?They can create an irresistible desire or be the one thing that we want to get rid of the most at the end of a long day. When people by shoes the chose more out of appearance rather then comfort. The result is a fact. The feet feel tired and soar after a couple of hours and the only thoughts are about the aching feet that firmly object to the way there being treated.

This report focuses on the upper slit. The upper slit is located between the impeller andthe drive unit. The slit design depends on Pump type and application. However it isuncertain why the design varies, The purpose of this report is to clarify why the designvaries and to recommend an improved slit design.A research has been done; information was gathered from interviews, but also fromsearching of databases and studies of drawings, reports and documents. The originalpurpose of the slit was to prevent twining around the driveshaft, and prevent dirt fromentering the cooling system.

Finnhamn is a group of islands that are located in the middle north part of Stockholm?s archipelagos. On the main island Stora Jolpan there is a camp called Sommargården, which consists of eleven different buildings in various sizes. The assignment given by the Archipelago foundation (Skärgårdsstiftelsen) is to analyze if it?s benefited to replace Sommargårdens current heating system that consists of electricity radiators, with a more energy efficient heating system. This research is done with help of the literature review and a visit to Finnhamn in order to map Sommargården?s current state and its energy usage.

Denna rapport redovisar ett examensarbete där en hydraulisk tvåflödesPump har konstruerats, ritningsdefinierats, tillverkats och provats i testrigg. Syftet med arbetet var att skapa ett komplett produktprogram av tvåflödesPumpar. Den primära kundgruppen för Pumpen är främst virkeslastbilar. Arbetet har utförts på Parker Pump and Motors i Trollhättan. En ny deplacementsstorlek av en tvåflödes axialkolvPump för lastbilar har tagits fram.

Bakgrund: När hjärtat förlorar Pumpkraft eller förmågan att fylla kamrarna tillräckligt med blod uppstår hjärtsvikt. Tillståndet är allvarligt och frekvensen av insjuknanden förväntas öka. I många fall är prognosen sämre än vid flera cancersjukdomar. Den palliativa vården är idag främst koncentrerad på avancerad cancer. Forskning visar på att patienter med svår hjärtsvikt har jämförbara upplevelser med de som insjuknat i avancerad cancer, men erhåller inte den vård som svårt cancersjuka får i ett palliativt skede.Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hjärtsviktssjuka patienters upplevelser av att vara sjuk i det palliativa skedet, för att med detta som grund utveckla god vårdkvalitet för denna patientgrupp.Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats.

Local charges may induce people to change their pattern of consumption by influencing investments and acts in certain directions. Some charges could for example give people incentives to use less natural resources. This study investigates four different local charges and whether they benefit an economical management with natural resources or not. This is carried out by investigating whether there is a polarity between local charges that may influence environmental actions or goods, and effective pollution control set to achieve certain nationally determined environmental goals. The study includes two economic perspectives and investigates on the one hand whether local charges counteract governmental subsidies and on the other hand whether the charges vary between the different municipalities since large differences may lead to cost inefficiency.

In Uppsala CHP Plant, there are six pressure reducing valves to reduce the pressure from 15 to 3 bars, before six absorption heat Pumps. During the process the energy is conserved but losses occur in form of exergy. The aim of this thesis is to reduce the losses of exergy. This can be done by letting turbines replace the pressure reducing valves.In this thesis an investigation has been done of the conditions today, the conditions after the change from pressure reducing valves to turbines and a comparison of three different types of turbine solutions. The three examined solutions are one turbine, several helical screw expanders and several small turbines in parallel with asynchronous generators.The six absorption heat Pumps have been divided into two groups; one group of four and one group of two absorption heat Pumps.

Periods of hypoxia are a recurring issue in Brunnsviken. Main factors that trigger hypoxia in Brunnsviken are eutrophication  due to anthropogenic emission of nutrients, stratification in the water column due to salinity and temperature differences  that prevents mixing and a sill inlet that prevents water exchange. As an attempt to improve the oxygen levels, bottom water is Pumped from Brunnsviken causing aerated surface water to flow back into the basin.  The objective of this Master?s thesis was to study the change in dissolved oxygen levels due to Pumping.

To provide our company a new business opportunity I have in this essay examined the economical possibilities to sell energy. I have chosen to do a case study on my own farm in this essay. The farm is focused to cropping and also have some properties for hire. The farm is situated in the village of Fjelie and that?s where the opportunity for selling heat are. Fjelie has about forty houses. The idea is to build a plant where straw is being used as fuel.
