Inställningarna till den del som gäller akutsjukvården är många. Bland några anses den som en av de viktigaste uppgifterna till att det endast utgör ett svagt intresse hos ?vissa poliser?.

Diseases associated with monocytosis in Swedish dogs - a retrospective study. The purpuse of this retrospective study is to determine which diseases are associated with pronounced monocytosis in Swedish dogs. Records of 153 dogs with monocytosis were evaluated. The most common cause was infectious diseases (49%) of which pyometra was seen in 23% of the cases, cystitis and fever of unknown origin each in 13% and gastroenteritis in 12%. Cortison treatment was the second most common cause with 29%. A sixth of the dogs had non inflammatory diseases such as neoplasia, renal- and heartfailure.

The aim of this master thesis was to measure the terminological consistency when indexing fiction. The study included ten participants, five librarians and five patrons who indexed two novels in three steps. Besides calculating the terminological consistency a typified index based on the term frequency was created.Subject heading list Att indexera skönlitteratur was used as a controlled vocabulary and to calculate the consistency the asymmetrical formula was used.The result showed that the study produced relatively high consistency values compared to other studies. The subject heading list increased the consistency value for all of the participants, for the patrons the increase was substantial. The librarians produced higher consistency values compared to the patrons in almost every step and they had in percentage lower amount of terms used only once..

Självstudier upplevs av många lärare och elever, även i denna studie, som en mycket viktig del av lärandet. Hemmet eller andra avskilda platser som bibliotek kan erbjuda en lugnare studiemiljö än skolans, vilket är essentiellt för koncentrationen. Flera av lärandets nödvändiga delmoment, att nå förståelse, lära in fakta och repetition gynnas av självständigt arbete enligt forskning om läxans fördelar och nackdelar. Denna forskning pekar även på vikten av att gradvis öva upp den mentala och praktiska förmågan till självstudier. Det senare kan anses vara avgörande inför ett självstyrt livslångt lärande i yrkesliv och högre studier såväl som i den privata sfären.I det här arbetet intervjuades fem lärare individuellt och åtta naturvetarelever i grupp om vilka faktorer de ansåg var avgörande för att elever ägnar sig åt självstudier.

In this paper we investigate how the possibility of mobility affects the frequency of blogposts andthe use of pictures in blogs and the content of the pictures. The purpose of this paper is toinvestigate what bloggers do with the possibility of mobility and how it effects the blog. Here weonly focus on smartphones. We focused our theory on communications and what mobility can offerto communication. To investigaste our subject we chose an combination of a qualitative and aquantitative study.

Det här kandidatarbetet undersöker mönsterdesignens möjlighet att verka för hållbar utveckling genom att se till begreppet mönster ur ett bredare perspektiv, samt i relation till design för hållbar utveckling.

Den här högskoleavhandlingen beskriver designen av ett IF-filter samt hårdvarukonstruktion av en ny 77 GHz FMCW-radar demonstrator. Syftet med demonstratorn är att illustrera hur kisel germanium-, SiGe, teknologi kan användas istället för den mer vedertagna men dyrare gallium arsenik-, GaAs, teknologin. Den gamla radar-prototypen vilken Acreo AB utvecklat är funktionell men behöver konstrueras om för att bättre kunna utvärdera radarprestandan. I avhandlingen presenteras grundläggande radarteori och ekvationer för att underlätta förståelsen av de olika systemblocken. Rapporten beskriver också systemarkitekturen och hur dess funktionalitet kommer att testas.

This is a descriptive paper based on a questionnaire- and literature study regarding how dogs are trained, what type and frequency of injuries that occur as well as how the dogs are best prepared for work. Using the results from the questionnaire, an overview is given on how members of Working dog clubs train their dogs and what kind of injuries that occur most frequently. The average age among the dogs included in the study was only about three years. This could indicate that older dogs are not trained in the same extent as young dogs. The results show that only a third of the dog owners warmed up their dogs before training.

In this thesis some different modulation schemes for xDSL-techniques are compared. The investigated techniques are ADSL, G.lite, ADSL2, HDSL, SHDSL and VDSL. The modulation methods used are DMT, CAP and different versions of PAM. Several broadband techniques also use Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) to increase the coding gain of the transmission. For each one of the different modulation methods the signal-to-noise ratio is calculated for generating a bit error rate probability of 10-7.

Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har varit det fenomenografiska perspektivet. Kvalitativa intervjuer med speciallärare, samt ostrukturerade icke-deltagande observationer i undervisningssituationer genomfördes. En kvalitativ tematisk analys användes för analysen av intervjuerna och observationerna. De teman som framkommit är Ord i text och Muntligt arbete.

Radio Frequency Identification, RFID, is a convenient way to enable contactless identification which does not require any physical nor optical contact. As with any radio-based communication the signal can be intercepted, thus making the technology vulnerable to several kinds of attacks. Interception of communication is not the only threat. Since RFID tags might contain personal information or information that will grant the owner access to secure areas, skimming and spoofing attacks are also major threats against this technology. In this thesis report,  the perspective of an adversary is portrayed in an RFID-enabled environment by presenting where RFID is used and how it could be abused.
