Påverkas röstkällans egenskaper av förändrad stående kroppshållning? En experimentell studie av otränade mansröster
The aim of this study was to investigate whether a direct shift inpostural alignment results in changes in voice source characteristics. Ninemales with untrained voices were recorded standing in ideal posturalalignment and in the deviant postures swayback and kyphosis characterizedby extended hips and a slump back respectively. The voice source wasderived from the audio signal by inverse filtering. The parameters pulseamplitude, maximal flow declination rate, level difference between the firstand second voice source partials, closed quotient and the normalizedamplitude quotient in relation to subglottal pressure were compared betweenideal postural alignment and swayback and kyphosis respectively. Resultsindicate an impact of changed postural alignment on the voice source.Swayback posture gave significantly less pulse amplitude and maximal flowdeclination rate and significantly higher subglottal pressures thus resulting ina less effective phonation.
Nordisk compliance - En studie av de nordiska EU-medlemmarnas implementeringsnivå
The following thesis is examining compliance with EU-law from a member state perspective. The variation in the compliance level between the member states from 1995 to 2005 is analyzed to prove the fact that the Nordic member countries during the measured time period experienced a low number of infringements. The infringements that did occur were resolved faster and more efficient in the Nordic countries then in the other member states. The theory used to explain the Nordic compliance rate is divided between external and internal pressure in a Pull and push model. The external pressure is illustrated with argumentative persuasion from the EU-commission to the individual member states; how the state responds to the persuasion in order to act compliant.

Särskilt väl kan den antas fungera för tidningsföretag som utlåter annonsutrymme i form av så kallade reklambanners på sin mobilanpassade webbsida då dessa i regel ger ett högt observationsvärde såväl som en hög klickfrekvens. SMS-utskick kan även de fungera väl, förutsatt att mottagaren gett företaget tillåtelse att kontakta dem på detta vis helst på eget initiativ.

A common problem related to this is an over-reliance on the technology, where there's not taking into account that some informal and communicative means are difficult to occur through digital resources.The aim of this study is to examine the use of an intranet in a municipality, which consists of many different employees with various work situations.
Produktionsstyrning med datorhjälpmedel
Examensarbetet utfördes på Liko AB som tillverkar handikapphjälpmedel, främst s.k. vårdlyftar. Arbetets syfte var att utvärdera företagets produktion och ge förslag på förbättringar, samt att undersöka om något slags datorhjälpmedel skulle effektivisera produktionen. Problemen som företaget har idag är att det har expanderat kraftigt de senaste åren vilket har medfött att den planering och styrning av produktionen som finns idag inte är tillfredsställande. Detta resulterar i många expressleveranser och mycket övertidsarbete för arbetarna.

"Utan If, ingen podcast" : En analys av sponsring i svenska podcasts
Internet and convergence culture has changed the terms of the media landscape. When old media converge and new ones take form, questions about how these should be classified arise, which is accompanied by new challenges in terms of ethics and regulations. One of these newfound mediums is podcasting; an expanding auditive Pull-medium available through streaming or downloading on the Internet.This study, which was conducted as a quantitative content analysis, examines the use of sponsorship in four of the most popular Swedish podcasts. This was done as an attempt to understand how producers of a new and unregulated medium choose to go about presenting their sponsor, without having any ethical guidelines to follow. Traditional media is already regulated and have ethical guidelines, that for example regulate how to address a sponsor, but in the new and expanding world of podcasting there are no ethical rules and guidelines.Our study shows that the placements of the sponsorship messages tend to vary and that there is very little consensus regarding how these podcasts choose to present their sponsor.
Historiska återspeglingar : En studie om svensk turismhistoria genom fallstudier på Åre och Mölle
The idea of this thesis emerged from our common interest to explore the life cycle of Swedish tourist destinations. This study has historical features since we tried to identify crucial historical and current push and Pull factors, which influenced destinations upturns and downturns. In order to achieve our primary goal and identify those factors, we made two case studies. We chose Åre and Mölle as our cases and these two areas will represent Swedish destinations, and their life cycles, as a whole. The destinations? developing processes and their nowadays profile are not the same as for two hundred years ago which was a reason and motivation that made us start exploring this specific subject.
Akademiska utlandsstudier : En fallstudie om motiv till utlandsstudier bland svenska studenter på Södertörns högskola
The purpose of this study is to investigate the primary motivation for studying abroad among students at Södertörn University, and also examine how the time studying abroad will affect the students on a personal level. The essay is based on a qualitative approach of ten interviews with students who have already completed an exchange program. With the help of the theoretical concepts of push and Pull factors, motivation categories, human capital and previous research, the results and analysis showed a coherent pattern. It turns out that the majorities of students are primarily motivated by the opportunity to enjoy a nice nature, new environment and get to know new people. The time studying abroad mostly contributed to the student?s personal development and also gave an understanding of other people and different cultures.

Purpose: The Swedish correctional service is on the brink of its biggest expansion in history,
due to political investments related to battling a rise in gang related criminality. The purpose of
this thesis is to exam and understand the strategic competence supply work from an employer
perspective and investigate the elements included in the Swedish correctional service competence
supply form a regional perspective. The study specifically focus on what strategies the Swedish
correctional service employ to attract, recruit, develop and retain workforce.
Theory: The theoretical framework of the study includes among others, a model divided into three
different phases (within, in and out) within competence supply, the demand-control-support model,
push and Pull factors, as well as the two-factor theory.
Method: This study has a qualitative approach with semi structured interview as its specific
method. A total of seven interviews were conducted with personnel within the swedish
correctional service.
Results: The main challenges are related to recruitment, staff retention, support of managers,
and the fact that many correctional officers do not have time to complete their training before
leaving. The latter is particularly significant are of concern.

HAFA Bathroom Group has given us the assignment to develop a standardized back panel for their bathroom cabinets. This cabinet is going to be applied to most of their current and future cabinet solutions. To this point, they have constructed unique suspensions-and back panels for most of their cabinet models. They have also been forced to Pull wiring and assemble the cabinets differently because of factors like; position of the wall sockets, dimensions of the cabinets and their shapes.The company wants to distance themselves from their current solution, firstly because the cost of having manpower to design each individual suspension solution, secondly because they will save a lot of money when the manufacturing process requires a minimum of components to be constructed. As a result of this, the company can use their resources better to develop future products.The main idea is that the consumer isn?t required to change the suspension or back panel when they decide to buy a new cabinet.

Lattelement AB in Ornskoldsvik is one of the leading companies in Sweden in composite elements in walls, floors and roofs in particular. The company supplies elements to buildings located with a wide geographical variation, which means that the products are subjected to very different climate with regard to snow, wind and humidity. This places high demands and requires the elements to withstand large variable loads.The elements are made of lightweight beams with flanges of structural timber and beam webs made of OSB. These are bound together by nogging pieces with the same kind of structure. On top of the beams a nailed and glued plywood is added to absorb compressive forces and on the underside of the element a sheet of steel is added for tensile absorption.These elements are then attached to the building framework in different ways depending on the particular element height, loads and the structual supporting material of the frame work.

The project has been done in cooperation with Schenker Åkeri AB in Sweden, Halmstad. Theproject is based on an inspection made by Arbetsmiljöverket, where they found minorshortcomings with distribution of goods for the employees. The project is an investigation ofthe drivers? working environment.Schenker Logistics is one of the world's leading providers of integrated logistics services.Schenker Åkeri AB is a subsidiary to Schenker Logistics and transports 2.4 million tons ofgoods yearly.The project started with a background study to evaluate drivers working environment. Wehave studied goods receptions, the working environment, strain injury and injury mechanisms.Methods used was observations, tests, questionnaire surveys and ergonomic andbiomechanical calculations.One result of the study is a working model, which gives recommendations for the maximumweight a driver should push and Pull.

I tv och radio står innehåll om musikartister främst för underhållning, medan det i tidningar ochinternet främst står för information.

By doing this thesis I want to open up farmers and tractor drivers mind to see that there is
several risks with their work. There is a number of risks that everybody probably already
know about, and hopefully I will, with this work, help them to see a lot more risks, to make
them be more careful in the future. I?ve interviewed seventeen farmers in middle and south of
Sweden. I?ve also asked them for their opinion and what kind of changes they looking forward
to.
