Rules for damages that are effective are important to create legal security and a public procurement that fulfil economic effectivity. Those rules are effectivly created for example when the demand of evidence is possible for the damaged supplier to fulfil. Yet the rules cannot be too low without leading to an uncertain procurement for the public purchaser. Thus one have to balance the interests of a public purchaser against the interests of a damaged supplier. This examine illustrates the section heads' and caregiving staffs' perceptions of the influence of New Public Management (NPM) in public retirement homes in Malmö. A central theme is to investigate if the main features of New Public Management are noticeable and if that's the case, are the consequences an advantage or disadvantage? The aim of this master thesis was to find out about librarians opinions of childrens libraries on the Internet, if it is a resource to reach children. Qualitative interviews were conducted with three librarians who had participated in the construction and development of childrens libraries on the Internet. IT and the Internet play an important role in childrens lives and children are using it to a greater extent. Libraries have begun to integrate IT and Internet into their services and are offering service on the Internet. The public library websites are usually for grown-ups and very few are directed to children.

Motivation är en viktig komponent för att en person ska kunna genomföra en uppgift. Men hur personen handskas med uppgiften beror på vilken typ av motivation denne drivs av och i vilken grad. Tidigare forskning har visat att exempelvis stress har en negativ påverkan på motivation. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur kön, ålder, antal arbetade år och stress är relaterad till inre och yttre motivation hos poliser i yttre tjänst. Deltagarna bestod av 142 personer, varav 36 stycken var kvinnor.

Nöjesfält har ofta uttalade servicekoncept vars syfte är att dess gäster ska få en service av hög kvalitet för att nöjesfältet som helhet ska vara underhållande, och inte enbart de åkattraktioner och andra nöjen som erbjuds. Syftet med denna studie var att genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer undersöka hur ledarskapet ser ut som används av operativa mellanchefer på nöjesfält för att motivera de underställda medarbetarna att förmedla en hög nivå av service till gästerna de möter i sitt dagliga arbete. De respondenter som valdes ut för undersökningen arbetade samtliga på Skara Sommarland under säsongen 2012 och hade positioner som operativa mellanchefer vilka benämndes teamledare eller biträdande restaurangchef. Utifrån intervjuer med åtta elever undersöktes vad det är som motiverar elever i skolår 4 inför skolämnet matematik. Det som eleverna uttryckte kring sina tankar angående motivation analyserades sedan ur perspektiven inre och yttre motivation. Undersökningen visade att det finns en stark generell motivation hos de intervjuade eleverna att lära sig matematik - hälften av de intervjuade eleverna ansträngde sig maximalt för att lära sig matematik. Sex av eleverna upplevde matematiken som rolig, vilket var den vanligaste faktorn till att eleverna ville lära sig matematik. De yttre faktorerna som var vanligt förekommande och som påverkade elevernas motivation var elevernas föräldrar, deras krav och uppmuntran, samt de framtida belöningar eleverna kunde se med att lära sig matematik..

Syftet med studien är att försöka skapa förståelse för vad som motiverar elever i klassrumsarbetet. Som blivande lärare känns det väsentligt att ta reda på de faktorer som gör en elev motiverad. Metoden på arbetet är en kvalitativ studie som genomförts på åtta stycken elever i årskurs sex, som genomgick individuella intervjuer. This Masters thesis is concerned with the complex planning process of setting up a citizen bureau in a public library. The aim is to find out how citizen bureaux are designed and to suggest a simplified model of strategic planning. The planning process is studied from a business perspective in the library context, and this perspective is also used to study citizen bureaux and their written plans elsewhere. A combination of qualitative methods are used: observations, focus group discussions and interviews. Observations in the public library showed a great need for an environmental analysis as well as structure to the planning process.

The study aims to increase understanding and knowledge of motivation; this by examining how the leader experiences her capability to promote employees' work motivation. Also, how employees perceive that the leader influence and enhance their work motivation. Interviews were conducted with a manager and two employees of a government agency in Sweden. The results demonstrate different opinions between manager and employees in the manager's ability to foster motivation in the everyday work. The leader thinks that she promotes her employees work positively and believes that she is giving her employees attention and appreciation.
