Tidigare forskning visar att utrikeskorrespondenter inom svensk public service inte rutinmässigt använder sociala medier i sitt arbete och att det ökade kravet på multikompetens kan gå ut över journalistiken (Bogar, 2011, Nygren & Hvitfelt, 2008a & 2008b). Denna studie undersöker just dessa två teman: kravet på multikompetens, och användandet av sociala medier för utrikeskorrespondenter på SVT och SR, samt hur dessa två teman påverkar arbetsrutiner, nyhetsvärdering och källkritik.Genom kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med tio verksamma utrikeskorrespondenter på SVT och SR har vi kommit fram till att kravet på multikompetens ökar och att det, av journalisterna, förväntas öka även i framtiden i takt med att medieföretagen tvingas till ekonomiska nedskärningar. Utvecklingen upplevs ha negativa effekter för journalistiken och öka arbetsbelastningen för utrikeskorrespondenterna.Det råder ingen tydlig samstämmighet bland utrikeskorrespondenterna i frågan om hur de ställer sig till användandet av sociala medier i sitt arbete.De flesta korrespondenter vi pratat med upplever ett krav eller önskan från arbetsgivaren att vara aktiva i sociala medier, men än saknar de rutiner och metoder för att kunna använda det som ett effektivt verktyg i sitt arbete. De är också försiktiga med att uttrycka kontroversiella åsikter i sociala medier. This thesis is about how students see their education, creativity and future based on our understanding of the concept of entrepreneurial learning. The aim is to highlight if and how this relatively new concept in the school world is rooted in pupils everyday lives. To get answers to our questions, we talked to students about their thoughts and reflections on their schooling, but also their views on how they think their future will look like. We have also examined what students associate to the concept of creativity by letting the pupils make a mind map during the interview sessions. Research and theories are talking about how to conduct school education, but despite all this knowledge the results in today´s schools drops.

In this essay I have tried to come close to a probable answer to the following question: Is there a risk that the trust between the Swedish public and the Swedish medical services staff, including the doctors, will be severely damaged if euthanasia is legalized in Sweden.In order to try to answer that question, and some other relevant questions that has corresponding interest in the context that euthanasia marks, I have done like this: I have investigated experiences from the Netherlands and from Oregon. Since euthanasia is legalized - though partly in different forms - in both these sites. I have then tried to relate the most relevant parts of these experiences to a theoretical frame. This frame had been set up by three concepts: the sanctity of life, autonomy and trust.I have also tried to come close to understanding the impact that demands for autonomy has in this context. And I have tried to understand if the trust that the public has for a country´s medical services staff and the actual doctors is a form of trust that ought to be understood as a form of trust incorporated in social capital.I have come to the conclusion that there is no great risk that the trust between the Swedish public and the Swedish medical services staff, including the doctors, will be severely damaged if euthanasia is legalized in Sweden.

In the early 1990?s more and more companies of the Swedish public sector were exposed to competition, and this started the debate on how such actions might affect the business and even society.The first chapter examines how the public sector and especially health care, is financed and managed. This report is focusing on problems with introducing standard enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) in businesses. A study has been carried out on a service and support department at a Swedish heat metering company, SVM North Node. The study aims to help the company become a better customer in choice and customization of a new ERP system. We make a description of the department studied and the work carried out there, on the basis of learning, knowledge and cooperation. As a final point we present some ideas on how computer systems could support their work, hoping that this will result in them making adequate demands on a new ERP system..

In this thesis the marketing strategies of two public libraries have been explored and studied.The public library of Kalmar participates in the project GÖK which partly is a marketing project. The public library of Kalmar thereby differs from the public library of Trollhättan which is not involved in the project.The main aim of this thesis was to focus on their marketing strategies and see if there were any differences. The thesis was also concerned with the customers and their experiences of the quality of the services offered by the public libraries of Kalmar and Trollhättan, including the customers' perceptions of the operative marketing, and finally if there was a connection between marketing and customer-centered quality. Qualitative methods as well as quantitative methods were used for the collection of information .The preliminary assumption that Kalmar had a more explicit marketing strategy has been confirmed in the study. However, the customers at the public library of Trollhättan were more satisfied with the total quality of the services offered.

The process of producing a video game is one that goes through a number of phasesduring the span of the entire production. One of these phases is the concept design phase,which is part of the pre-production. This phase is an important aspect of the productionas it is where all the different parts and ideas concerning the game are brought togetherto define what the game is going to be. Though a clearly important part of the videogame production surprisingly little research have been done on the subject of conceptdesign. This study critically reviews four works of the artist Joanna Rytel with the intention to find out if and how she is provocative. In order to do that I have studied the reactions on these works, mainly through press material, which differs from letters to the editors and comments posted on discussion forums that's also been used. My conclusion is that Rytel provokes not just because of her choice of subject, but because of her concept of 'art' doesn't agree with the general public's, i.e. 'art' is supposed to be something merely beautiful. Based on a review of literature on evalution of public activities and in purpose to introduce amore general framework, this study describes a picture of the concept, context, motives,strategies, use and actors in Evaluation as these are experienced outside the field of libraryand information. The background is the increased need for" evaluations in public libaries and aneed for new LIS knowledge about it. The reviewed literature has its origin in differentdisciplinary contexts and the study include contributions from policy studies, sociologi,education research, business administration, philosophy and anthropology. The focus, though,is not placed upon differences in the literature but on similarities.The review is organised in six parts. In the first part a presentation is given of how evaluationsare conceptualized and its meaning in a historical perspective.

The Veiled Party: A Discourse Analysis of Sweden Democratic Texts aims to further the understanding of the underlying ideology of the Sweden Democratic party, by revealing whether or not there is any ideological content that include race, racialization, and racism in the party?s political texts. The study offers a background description of the discursive change in the social and political climate of debate in Sweden, which opened a policy window for xenophobic agenda setting. In addition, the study delivers a presentation of the public debate regarding the Sweden Democrats, as well as statements by party representatives.Through a social constructionist and discourse analytic framework, the study aims at understanding how the application of racial ideas are done and mapped. The core of the theoretical framework is a critical race and whiteness theoretical approach.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine and analyze the discourse concerning a new public library in Stockholm. The paper further discusses how this discourse corresponds with what is written about public libraries in a number of national and international documents. To do this I have utilized the discourse theory of Laclau and Mouffe. By using some of their instruments I have established the discourse around a number of keywords.

Grundtanken med examensarbetet har varit att genom kvalitativa intervjuer ta reda på om ett betyg i service och bemötande är aktuellt och efterfrågat inom hotell- och restaurangbranschen och vad införandet av ett sådant betyg skulle tänkas få för konsekvenser för eleven. Vidare belyses vikten av en god attityd i servicebranschen, en egenskap som värderas väldigt högt och ställa detta i kontrast till skolan och hur lärare och handledare arbetar för att stimulera en positiv social utveckling hos eleven. Jag valde att intervjua fyra yrkeslärare på hotell och restaurangprogrammet i en större stad och tre APU-handledare på tre skilda hotell i staden. Gemensamt för lärarna och APU-handledarna är gedigna branschkunskaper och aktivt arbete med elever/praktikanter i flera år. Undersökningen visar att lärare och APU-handledare är positivt inställda till ett betyg i service och bemötande, men reservationer finns angående vem som har behörighet att sätta betyget samt vem som ska få ta del av betyget. Forskningen tyder på att betyget i service och bemötande inte bör visas för APU-handledare före praktikperiodens start då det kan skada elevens självkänsla. APU=arbetsplatsförlagd undervisning.
