The aim of this study is to examine which factors in a traffic wardens? situation at work that promote and which that inhibit satisfaction at work. The aim of this study is also to examine if there are any differences in the work experiences for traffic wardens that work alone versus those who work in a team of two. The following questions are examined in the study:?Which factors promote and which factors inhibit the work situation for traffic wardens??Are there any differences between traffic wardens that work alone and those who work with another colleague?The selection consisted of eight traffic wardens, of which four of them work with another colleague while the other four work by themselves.

This study aim to investigate the conditions framing the professional development situation for physical education teachers (PE) in a small municipality in the south of Sweden. The Swedish National Agency for Education declare that "focus must be directed towards strengthening the teachers' profession", and that "schools need well-trained teachers and good teaching to help students achieve good results". The study focuses both the schools? contribution and the way in which the teachers take own initiative and are motivated to develop their professional skills. The investigation is all based on teachers' perspectives.

Den här uppsatsen analyserar resultatet från en enkätundersökning bland ledare och medarbetareanställda inom Karlstad Kommun, ur ett genusperspektiv. Syftet är att se om det verkar finnas någrakönsbundna mönster i de anställdas upplevelser av att arbeta inom den kommunala organisationen.Uppsatsen utgår från andrahandsmaterial i form av resultatet från nämnda enkätundersökning samtregisterdata och rapporter gällande den aktuella organisationen. Främst är det tre av kommunensförvaltningar som står i fokus, två kvinnodominerade och en mansdominerad. Detta för att se omoch i så fall på vilka sätt förvaltningarnas genusmärkning kan spela in för de anställdas upplevelser.Även genomgående skillnader i upplevelse inom de olika förvaltningarna undersöks, utifrån dengjorda enkätundersökningens resultat. Registerdata och rapportmaterial som finns gällandekommunen används för att få en djupare förståelse kring den omgivning som de anställda sombesvarat enkäten återfinns i.

The swedish law of contract is fundamental within several civil law areas, among others labour law. The labour law contains more explicit legislation specificly adapted to the relation between employers and employees. Sometimes the labour law needs to rely on more general regulations, such as the law of contract. When the situation contains a specific contract relation dilemma it is logical to use the law of contract, when for example the law of employee protection does not reach an acceptabel solution.Transfer of undertaking is a situation were the employee protection is disregarded. The Euro directive 2001/23/EG prescribes, by its implemented rules in the law of employee protection, that rights and duties, such as employement agreements, passes on to the earner of the business.

Background: Each year approximately 30 000 people suffer from stroke in Sweden, often with substantial mental and physical consequences. Those who suffered from stroke handled the situation by mourning what they had lost and by accepting their changed body and life situation. For those who provide care for people who has suffered a stroke help and support was required. The caring science perspective was based upon caring and suffering. Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe family caregivers? experiences of caring for persons who had suffered a stroke.

An LSS officer?s activities are governed by laws and regulations and it has great power in influencing the individual's situation when reweaving its case. Officer?s actions have effects on the applicant and it can use its power and not look after the individual's best. Its interest can lie in community and his own position.

The aim of this study is to investigate which communication strategies and channels the mu- nicipal company Falu Energi & Vatten should use in order to become more efficient in com- municating with citizens between 18 to 29 years old. The company is owned by the munici- pality of Falun and manages community services in electricity, district heating, fresh water, sewerage, metropolitan area network and waste disposal. The following theories have been used in the study: convergence culture, digital natives, information overload, communication strategies and uses & gratifications theory. The methods used in the study are 4 focus group interviews and one informant interview. The members of the focus groups where within the age range 18-29 years and lived in the city of Falun.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur personliga handläggare inom sjukförsäkringen på Försäkringskassan upplever sin psykosociala arbetsmiljö och då särskilt vad gäller deras känsla av samhörighet med organisationen och det uppdrag som de ska uträtta. Jag ämnar också undersöka deras upplevelser vad gäller krav från ledning och i vilken utsträckning de har kontroll över sina arbetsuppgifter. Vidare vill jag även undersöka huruvida de personliga handläggarna känner att det råder en balans mellan den ansträngning arbetet kräver och den belöning som ges.De teorier som ligger till grund för uppsatsen är krav- kontroll- stödmodellen, KASAM- Känsla Av Sammanhang och ansträngning ? och belöningsmodellen. Tidigare forskning redogör för den komplexitet som ofta infinner sig vid undersökningar av den psykosociala arbetsmiljön.

I Sverige är risken att kvinnan eller barnet skadas eller dör i samband med graviditet och förlossning liten vilket inte är fallet i flera av världens länder. Trots säker mödra- och förlossningsvård är många kvinnor rädda för att föda barn. Att vänta sitt första barn och vara rädd för graviditet och förlossning medför stor oro och ängslan och utifrån ett vårdvetenskapligt perspektiv är det ett livslidande. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur förlossningsrädsla visar sig och vilka orsaker som finns beskrivna till att förstföderskor är rädda för att föda barn. Denna studie bygger på en analys av 12 vetenskapliga artiklar som beskriver förlossningsrädsla hos förstföderskor där så väl kvalitativ som kvantitativ metod har använts.

Bullying in workplaces has been a growing problem the last ten years. Anyone can be a victim or a bully. Either you are a leader or a worker a bullying situation can be activated. There is no difference between ages, line of business, education or the size of the firm. A person is defined as bullied if he or she is repeatedly subjected to negative acts in the workplace. However, to be a victim of such bullying one must also feel inferiority in defending oneself in the actual situation. Bullying often occurs when situations or conditions at the workplace are unsatisfactory. Employers are always responsible for the working environment at the workplace. Victims of bullying very often develop psychological stress. To prevent bullying you have to accept the fact that bullying exists. If the company has a clear policy against bullying and a plan for action if the problem occurs, it will be easier to handle the situation.

This essay is about children in grief. This subject is very wide, therefore I have chosen to focus on childrens questions in relation to losing someone close to them. I got the idée for this study in 2004 when the tsunami hit south Asia.The result in this study reflects three different pedagogues experiences about how they have experienced childrens questions when they have lost a person near to them. During this study I have reached the knowledge that as an adult you should answer childrens questions straight and honestly. It is important that children get information about what has happened, they must get a chance to participate.

Årligen insjuknar ca 30 000 svenskar i stroke. Studiens syfte är att undersöka sjuksköterskans uppfattning och förståelse för anhörigasas situation. När ens make/maka plötsligt insjuknat i stroke förändras hela livssituationen.

Background: When a child gets cancer it involves the whole family. The view of family focused care has change over the years. It has been shown that the family needs support to manage their life situation, when their child is ill. Aim: The aim of this study was to illustrate the family?s life situation, when a child gets cancer.

AbstractThe purpose of our study was to get a deeper understanding and a better knowledge about the study situation students with disabilities experience at the University of Kristianstad. Our choice was to focus on their experience of the supporting measures, the accessibility and how they felt they were met by both students and teachers. It was a qualitative study and it was based on interviews with eight students with disabilities at the University in Kristianstad. In the study we have used the theoretical concept of empowerment as an analysis tool. The different kinds of support the students with disabilities were using were in common described as positive and the students thought that the supporting measures helped them getting more independent.
