Stress är ett ökande problem i samhället. Av alla sjukskrivna är i dag närmare fyrtio procent hemma för någon form av psykisk ohälsa och antalet beräknas öka ytterligare. Besvären kryper längre ner i åldrarna och kan ses redan hos små barn. En redan utsatt grupp i samhället är ungdomar, vilka går igenom en stor omställning i övergången till vuxenlivet. Hur de påverkas av dagens samhällsstruktur är ännu outforskat.

SammanfattningSyftet var att jämföra personlighetsdrag mellan personer med funktionella mag-tarmbesvär (FGID) och normalpopulation och även mellan kvinnor och män med FGID. The Swedish Scale of Personality (SSP) som är utvärderat på både normpopulation och patienter med god validitet användes för insamling av data. Personlighetsdragen som undersöktes var psykisk ångestbenägenhet, stresskänslighet, irritationsbenägenhet samt verbal- och fysisk aggressionsbenägenhet. Totalt deltog 80 kvinnor och 51 män med diagnosen FGID i studien. Data analyserades med one sample t-test och oberoende t-test.

Efter verksamhetsförlagd utbildning har författarna till studien uppmärksammat att det finns en brist hos vårdpersonal att uppmärksamma barn till alkoholmissbrukande föräldrar. Tidigare studier och rapporter från bland annat Socialstyrelsen stödjer att det finns brister i att uppmärksamma dessa barn. Tidigare studier visar även på att barn som växer upp i ett hem där ett alkoholmissbruk föreligger löper ökad risk att drabbas av psykisk ohälsa. I Sverige beräknas 20 procent av alla barn leva i ett hem där det förekommer ett riskbruk av alkohol hos någon av föräldrarna. På grund av detta är studiens syfte att belysa vuxna personers upplevelser av att som barn ha växt upp i ett hem där alkoholmissbruk har förekommit.

Tonåren är en period av såväl psykisk, fysisk som social förändring. Levnadsvanorna förändras under ungdomsåren och matvanorna tenderar att bli sämre. De ungdomar som flyttat hemifrån inför gymnasiet har visat sig vara en särskild riskgrupp för bristande kosthållning. För idrottande ungdomar är det extra viktigt med en god kosthållning som täcker det ökade energibehov som följs av en hög träningsdos. Flera studier framhåller att hälsofrämjande insatser för bättre matvanor bör introduceras redan i ungdomsåren för idrottare.Studiens syfte var att beskriva måltidsordning, livsmedelsval samt alkoholvanor bland handbollsungdomar som går på ett idrottsgymnasium med nationellt godkänd idrottsutbildning (NIU) i Västra Götalandsregionen.

Social work has gone from being a primarily philanthropic issue to becoming an academic discipline at university level. To ensure its legitimacy social work must be founded on, and developed through scientific research and documented experience. The purpose of this essay is to review the various arguments on social work in order to evaluate their impact on education, which in turn affects students. In addition, it will demonstrate how different forms of knowledge are valued depending on the contexts. As a means of reaching this objective, the following questions are addressed: ?What are the requirements and recommendations on how the education of social work should be structured, and why are these requirements and recommendations important??, ?How has the education of social work been influenced by the perception of valuable knowledge?? and ?How does the education of social work affect students?? The collected material consists of various arguments concerning the development of social work and the education of social work's formation.

In this essay we have examined how social workers experience their positions as a public authority person in a society of democracy. As a public officer you have to follow rules and obey the law, which can be difficult if they don't agree with your personal opinion and values. In social work you work with people in a vulnerable situation and it may become extremely demanding to stand between the directions of established public administration and your own opinions. We have interviewed ten social workers working in social childcare division and analysed how they experience their situation at work. Our starting point is the critical theory of professor Lennart Lundquist about how democracy works in Swedish administrations.

Our study has its starting point in the Swedish social legislation (Socialtjänstlagen) and more specifically in the 6th chapter's 5th paragraph. That paragraph regulates that social workers should try to find a kinship care placement when they are about to do a placement of a child. Our purpose is to examine how social workers, before they do a placement of a child, understand the informal kinship that is not relatives, if they consider the informal kinship and if certain circumstances have an impact on the consideration. To get this information we have done five interviews with social workers. Recent studies show that social workers in past years have begun to think more positively of people's kinships and that they more often use the resources of the kinship.

Efter en traumatisk händelse är det viktigt att kunna ta hand om dem som påverkas av situationen, både fysiskt och psykiskt. Detta förutsätter att det finns en fungerande stödorganisation, med chefer som vet vad deras uppgift är i efterarbetet.Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att ta reda på hur det akutpsykologiska stödet är utformat inom den svenska Försvarsmakten och hur det har tillämpats under FS19, samt vilken roll plutonchefen har i den. Vidare har studien fokuserat på vilken utbildning plutonchefen har och bör ha. Studien har skett genom kvalitativ textanalys och genom intervjuer.De viktigaste slutsatserna som kan dras av resultaten, är att synen på hur det akutpsykologiska stödet ska bedrivas varierar. Studien har också visat att tillämpningen av det akutpsykologiska stödet har skiljt sig mellan enheterna och att utbildningsnivån inom akutpsykologiskt stöd, varie-rade mellan plutoncheferna..

Det har tidigare forskats på sambandet mellan tillfälliga anställningar och individers välbefinnande. Forskningen har däremot inte uppmärksammat om längden på den återstående avtalstiden har någon inverkan på de anställdas psykiska hälsa. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om längden på den återstående kontraktstiden kan predicera fotbollsspelares psykiska hälsa. Studien kontrollerade även om ålder, föräldraskap och planer för framtiden kunde ha någon inverkan på spelares psykiska hälsa i relation till återstående kontraktstid. Detta undersöktes genom en enkätstudie där 101 professionella fotbollsspelare från fem svenska elitlag deltog.

BAKGRUND:  Skattepolitiken kan bidra till att människors villkor förbättras eller försämras. Detta har sällan belysts i folkhälsovetenskapen. Skattereformen 1990/91 finansierades delvis med höjda indirekta skatter. De dynamiska effekter, som utlovades inför skattereformen 1990/91, uteblev. Snart efter reformens införande visade SCB:s undersökning av levnadsförhållanden en ökad oro för familjens ekonomi hos befolkningen.SYFTE: En jämförande analys före och efter skattereformen av lättare psykisk ohälsa med en beskrivning av skattereformens effekter på typfamiljer samt reformens effekter på samhällsnivå.METOD: Litteraturstudie och analys av tillgänglig statistik från SCB.RESULTAT: Under 90-talet ökade den lättare psykiska ohälsan bland såväl yngre som medelålders.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka ifall det fanns ett samband mellan föräldrars bristande omsorgsförmåga och ungdomars droganvändning samt kriminalitet. Kan en persons uppväxt påverka huruvida den börjar använda droger eller har ett kriminellt beteende? En hypotes formulerades som löd: Det finns ett samband mellan föräldrars bristande omsorgsförmåga och droger samt kriminalitet. För att kunna styrka hypotesen användes kvantitativ metod genom statistikprogrammet SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Datan som behandlades inhämtades via UngDok-formulär som rörde ungdomar mellan 12 till 24 år på öppenvårdsmottagningar i Stockholm, Göteborg och Malmö.

The main purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse how social worker on a specific Social Service Agency describe their experiences. My focus has been to concentrate on social worker, whose task is related to young people. The paper is presented from three different themes; work assignments, professional roles and projects in life. The central questions are; Which are the socialworker´s main tasks? How does the social worker see himself in his professional role? Have their expectations been fulfilled? Where do they get their motivation from? Which are the reasons why the job as social worker is so strenuous? I have interviewed four social workers (semi-structured interviews), and a qualitative method is used.
