AimThe aim of this study was to examine the views on bullying in the context of physical education among pupils studying at intermediate level through a gender perspective.The following questions where used in the examination.In what ways does the views on bullying differ between girls and boys?How is bullying manifested during classes in physical education?How do girls and boys experience cross-gender and same-gender bullying?MethodThe study is based upon a survey with questions of both quantitative and qualitative disposition. A total of 210 pupils from areas in and around Stockholm participated in the study, all studying at intermediate level. The participants consisted of 92 girls and 116 boys (two declined). The selection of participating schools where made out of convenience.

This essay revolves around the reformation and sectorization of Swedish psychiatry starting in the 1970?s. Psychiatry was to change from being based in closed asylums to being an institution in the middle of society, finding social solutions to mental illness and working through a dynamic network of various care givers, such as welfare officers, nurses and psychiatrists. This new kind of psychiatry was first tested in Nacka, where psychiatric reformers Johan Cullberg and Bengt Berggren were the heads of a six-year long pioneer project of sectorized psychiatric care. My specific purpose is to analyze the new ideas of mental illness and of psychiatry?s role in society which were introduced in this project and how they were expressed in the official reports presenting it.The reformation was preceded by a public debate concerning psychiatry, which had intensified a few years around 1970.

Manöverkrigföring är ett vedertaget begrepp inom militär teori. Jag har i denna uppsats valt att analysera och jämföra två operationer som baseras på manöverkrigföring.Vid Tysklands invasion av Frankrike 1940, Fall Gelb, utgjorde manöverteorin grunden för operationen. Detta var första gången som manöverkrigföring utnyttjades i stor skala för att slå en jämbördig motståndare. I den USA-ledda FN-koalitionens invasion av Irak 1991, Desert Storm, var manöverkrigföring ännu en gång den operativa huvudteorin i planerna för operationen.Den här uppsatsen är en komparativ fallstudie baserad på kvalitativ textanalys. Båda operationerna beskrivs för att sedan jämföras varvid skillnader och likheter belyses.Resultatet visar att såväl Fall Gelb som Desert Storm genomfördes som operationer baserade på teorin om manöverkrigföring, men att stora skillnader finns mellan dessa operationer. Orsaken till att jag har valt just detta anfall som Rommel genomförde i det tolfte slaget är att det är fascinerande och banbrytande hur löjtnanten Rommel med sin lilla enhet utmanövrerar stora delar ur den italienska armén.  Metoderna jag har valt är deskription och fallstudie då jag anser att just dessa två lämpar sig väl då en mindre del ur något stort ska återberättas. Det jag vill ta reda på är om Rommel användes sig av det vi idag kallar för manöverkrigföring eller om det är något nytt vi har skapat för att ha ett namn. För att få kunskap om slaget och fördjupad kunskap kring de olika teorierna har jag läst in mig på de olika doktrinerna som svenska försvarsmakten har och även litterära verk kring Rommels deltagande i slaget. Slutligen har jag analyserat de olika fakta och dragit slutsatser kring Rommel och huruvida Rommel använde sig av dem eller inte. Nurses need a deeper understanding of the importance and health-promoting properties of animal-assisted therapy.Aim: The aim was to describe the importance of animal assisted therapy for patients? health.Methods: A literature review was conducted based on ten nursing science studies with both qualitative and quantitative approaches, which were selected after critical review.

Den här studien undersöker didaktiska potentialer med att använda tv-spel i gymnasieskolans litteraturundervisning gällande värdegrundsarbete. I den första delen av arbetet presenteras tidigare forskning kring spel som forskningsområde och den relativa bristen av sådan forskning. Vidare presenteras begreppet intersektionalitet som analysmetod samt det svår- och mångtolkade begreppet värdegrunden ur läroplanen som i ett eget avsnitt diskuteras ur ett moralfilosofiskt perspektiv. I arbetets andra del tillämpar vi den intersektionella analysmetoden på tre olika spel: Dragon Age Origins, Rule of Rose och Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Resultaten är senare diskuterade i arbetets sista och avslutande del.

Due to the new demands put upon combat vehicles of today the development quickly strives for-ward. With developers and experts across the globe working to meet the needs of tomorrows armies. The question we ask ourselves is what will be the characteristics of these vehicles. In order to be able to categorize combat vehicle and analyze its characteristics we use the principles of war. Based on J.F.C Fullers theory from the early 19 hundreds that anything can be analysed using these principles, through a modern interpretation of the Swedish army, we can categorise the present and future abilities of combat vehicles.

The topic of this essay is the strategic importance of the Golan Heights during the period 1967-1973, specifically targeting the following questions;-          Why were the heights strategically important?-          What are the gains of either of the states in controlling the Golan Heights?A theoretical framework based on Jerker Widén´s and Jan Ångström´s Militärteorins grunder (The fundamentals in Military Theory) and its chapter regarding the strategic context will be used as an analytical framework.The framework has been applied on the specific conditions of the Golan Heights during a given and limited period of time; stretching from 1967 to 1973, however, the study will not deal with the war of attrition in 1970 as the impact on the Golan Heights and the surrounding geographical strategically important area was limited if at all. It is a great shock that changes her life and can include a sense of lost femininity and a decreased sexual desire which can be both physical and psychological. The basis of this literature review is from 17 scientific articles which evaluate the changes in cancer patient's body image and sexuality during their illness and treatment. This study illustrates patient's experience of the nursing and difficulties which obstructs the nurse from talking about sexuality whit the patient. This essay is about the tactical basic principles as they are mentioned in the Swedish Doctrine for land based operations (2005) and the German side during the battle of Verdun 1916. The purpose of this essay is to clarify whether the used doctrine is appropriate to use on future attrition battles.        This is done by a case study of the German side during the battle ofVerdun. In this case study indicators of the basic principles are then identified and analysed with the starting point at the two questions that the essay is based around. The essay starts with an introduction where above is attended, in the second part the basic principles, the background to the battle and the battle itself is described. Finally the tactical basic principles are analysed and discussed based on the questions that the essay is based on.In the analysis and the discussion the conclusion is drawn that the tactical basic principles were present on the German side during the battle of Verdun and that they are of a general character and may be applied on both attrition warfare of 1916 and modern battles of attrition..

In the future network-based Swedish Defence (NBD), attaining information superiority will be of great importance. This will be achieved by a network of networks where decision-makers, information- and weapon-systems are linked together. As a part of the development of NBD, we have performed a study of user interface design for a future network-based tool package for analysis of sensor systems, referred to as the C2SR-system. This thesis was performed at Ericsson Microwave Systems AB, Sensor and Information Networks, during the autumn 2002. A pre-study concerning the requirements of usability, trustworthiness and functionality of a user interface for the C2SR-system was performed.

Denna uppsats har skrivits som en del av de studier i krigsvetenskap jag erhållit under min tid vid yrkesofficersprogrammet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva sambandet mellan de grundläggande förmågorna ledning och rörlighet samt begreppet högt stridstempo vid förband av lättare karaktär.Den metod som använts i uppsatsen är en fallstudie som bygger på en kvalitativ textanalys. Genom en granskning av två valda operationer genomförs en analys efter varje skede. Den teknik som använts för insamling är litteratursökning. En frågeställning har behandlats: Hur såg sambandet ut mellan högt stridstempo och de grundläggande förmågorna ledning och rörlighet vid Operation Market Garden samt Operation Merkurius?Utifrån mina gjorda fallstudier visar resultatet på att i manöverkrigföring är begreppet högt stridstempo av stor vikt för att lyckas med striden.
