Abstract: This study is focused on blogging from the perspective of the individual. Weinvestigate why one uses the weblog format, functions on the blog that are seen to work asdriving forces, attitudes towards self-disclosure and anonymity on the weblog and how therelation between an online- and offline-identity is interpreted by the bloggers themselves, forexample to what extent it is possible to get to know the blogger by reading the weblog.Finally, we investigate the weblog-readers meaning to the blogger, as well as their possibleimpact on both his or her personal blog-content and the everyday-life.The empirical material consists of half-structured interviews via MSN Messengerwith nine informants, being bloggers found on the Swedish website bloggportalen.se. Thetheoretical framework behind the interview guide focuses on the identity concept, containingidentity theories in psychological and sociological perspectives, symbolic interactionismconcerning the concept of roles, as well as Bauman?s liquid theory on postmodern societytendencies. This material is further included in related previous research articles, derived fromboth international and Swedish databases.

During the period 2002-2012, 74 people committed suicide within the Swedish judicial system. During the same period of time 702 self-destructive actions and suicide attempts were reported. The purpose of this work was to investigate and illuminate the causes which are responsible for individuals committing suicide while in custody or in prison. The theory of this  work is an ethnographic study of a special social context. A study of literature, statistics and earlier scientific research was used in this study.

Political decisions affect the social development and thereby also conditions for people to feel healthy. As the municipalities are working with its inhabitants they are an important part of the self generated health care activities. The most part of our life we spend in school or at work and this is the reason why these places are the most suitable to create healthy people. From these thoughts we created the following aim of the study:?The aim of this study is to investigate what kind of work regarding self generated health care that is performed by the municipalities of Helsingborg and Ängelholm towards the employed teachers and how the teachers apprehend this work.

BEPS-projektet startades år 2012 för att förhindra att skattesubjekt använder kryphål i skatteavtalen och staternas nationella lagstiftningar för att erhålla skatteförmåner. År 2013 utgav OECD en handlingsplan som identifierar 15 åtgärder som ämnas vidtas. Åtgärdspunkt 6 reglerar problematiken kring hur skatteavtal missbrukas genom att skattesubjekt ?shoppar? efter jurisdiktionen med det skatteavtal som leder till den förmånligaste beskattningen. Åtgärdspunkt 6 föreslår att en specifik LOB-regel eller en generalklausul, PPT-regeln, införs i OECDs modellavtal för att motverka det aktuella förfarandet.

Title: A study of how active therapist talks about the FMT method. FMT-therapists use music as a means of communication. The method is non verbal and uses musical codes to create a framework for the apprentice. The instruments that are being used are piano, drums, a variety of flutes and whistles. The FMT-method is a musical form of therapy that targets all functional disabilities.

Bakgrund: Distriktssköterskor som arbetar inom barnhälsovården möter i sitt arbete de flesta familjerna ute i samhället och har möjlighet att komma i kontakt med barn som far illa. Misstankar att barn far illa måste anmälas till socialtjänsten. Anmälan om misstankar kan leda till etiska dilemman där rättvisa, att göra gott och inte skada skapar konflikter.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att inom BHV belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter  av anmälningsplikten till socialtjänsten, vid misstankar om barn som far illa.Metod: Studien genomfördes utifrån en kvalitativ ansats. Sex distriktssköterskor inom barnhälsovården deltog vid semistrukturerade intervjuer. Data analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys på manifest nivå.Resultat: Studiens resultat presenteras i fyra huvudkategorier och elva underkategorier.

AbstractBackground: Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths, about 13% of all deaths, in 2008. Several factors can affect patients' quality of life such as physical and psychological symptoms, relationship to people around and the environment. In palliative care professionals need to have good knowledge in order to improve patient quality of life and to give them as good a life as possible in the final stages of life.Aim: The purpose of this overview study is to describe the experiences of quality of life in patients with incurable cancer.Method: We conducted an overview study that was based on ten scientific articles. All articles are qualitative studies, from the year 1995 - 2011, and are from Sweden, Finland, UK, Canada and the USA. Qualitative analysis was used to group the various themes and subthemes for overview study purpose.

Materialet analyserades med en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.Resultat: Utifrån analysen framkom det tre huvudkategorier med tillhörande nio underkategorier. Huvudkategorierna består av; När barnmisshandel misstänks, där det framkom att BVC-sjuksköterskorna upplevde oro vid misstanke om barnmisshandel, och att barnmisshandel uttrycktes i att barnen inte får sina behov tillgodosedda. Barnmisshandel ansågs även vara svårbedömt.

Sambandet mellan våld mot djur och våld i nära relationer är väl dokumenterat. Forskning har visat att en person som misshandlar sin partner kan använda djuren i hemmet som ett medel för att skrämma, kontrollera, hämnas och utsätta sin partner för tvång. Det kan ske genom hot att skada eller döda djuret och faktiska handlingar där personen ifråga gör det. Våld mot djur är också förknippat med eskalerande våld. Studier tyder på att djurens utsatthet gör det svårare för den våldsutsatta partnern att lämna förhållandet, då hen är orolig för vad som ska hända med djuret.

AbstractThe main objective of this essay is to come to an understanding as to why girls, together in groups, walk against the conventional image of women and take on more violent and aggressive behaviour against their surroundings. In this essay I hope to gain an understanding of how ?girl gangs? work as a social phenomenon as well as identify the characteristics of these gangs. Furthermore, this essay aims to understand what role the violence and aggression plays in the lives of these girl?s.The following questions are the focus of the essay:? Why have girls in groups become more aggressive and violent?? What is characteristic for ?the girl gangs? as a social phenomenon?? They perform this work in collaboration with the police and upper secondary schools in Örebro.The purpose of this essay is to investigate and describe this collaboration. More specifically, the purpose is to study the contents of documents of the municipality of Örebro concerning drug prevention aimed at youths through collaboration and compare with the actual work that is carried out by the Youth- and family team through collaboration. Further issues dealt with are possible improvements and if the parties concerned feel a need for a documented structure concerning their way of working.I have used a qualitative method and I have interviewed members of parties concerned.

This essay investigates the psychological aspects in students' experiences of their university library and the information seeking process. Focus of the investigation is library anxiety, a kind of fear towards the university library with cognitive, affective and behavioural aspects. Twenty students at Uppsala university, who was about to conclude or recently have concluded an academic essay, were interviewed about their experiences of the university library, Carolina Rediviva. Five respondents stated experiences of fear, anxiety and apprehension in the library and it is on these informants that the greater part of the analysis and discussion draws. The essay suggests a model of library anxiety where outer environmental aspects of the library, such as the library environment, roles and routines of the library and library staff, interacts with inner personal aspects of the individual such as personal experiences, intellectual capacity and sensitivity to stress and anxiety.

The understanding of the role of nature for rehabilitation of both physical and psychological afflictions has greatly increased in the last few years. There?s a lot of science that describes the healing effects of nature. The rehabilitation garden in Alnarp has contributed with very positive results from the treatments of patients with burnout syndrome. In the first stages of rehabilitation, the need for calm is very important and a demand-less and stress-free environment is of essence.

Denna studie undersöker hur gitarrpedagoger kan arbeta för att stärka sina gitarrelevers tilltro till den egna förmågan att kunna spela gitarr. Jag har valt att använda mig av kvalitativa intervjuer som metod och jag har intervjuat både lärare och elever för att uppsatsen ska innehålla både ett lärar- och elevperspektiv. Jag har använt mig av ett antal begrepp som enligt Albert Bandura (1997) påverkar individens tilltro till den egna förmågan. Dessa begrepp är: Reflektion, Tidigare framgångar (Mastery Experience), Positiv feedback (Verbal Persuasion), Trygghet (Psychological and affective states) och (Bandura, 1997). Det framgår utifrån lärarinformanternas intervjuer att elevernas förmåga att reflektera, se att de har utvecklats och tryggheten på lektionerna är viktiga faktorer för att stärka elevernas tilltro.
