Forskning visar att flera faktorer i individens miljö och karaktär har mycket stor betydelse när det gäller att sluta med missbruk. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur f.d. missbrukande kvinnor agerade för att ta sig ur tungt missbruk och hur de upplevde det sociala stödet ur ett genusperspektiv. För att fokusera på detta har författaren intervjuat personal om stödet som erbjuds inom frivård, socialtjänst och behandlingshem. Dessutom har författaren studerat vilken sorts stöd som personalen och kvinnorna i studien anser vara viktigast och hur samverkan mellan olika delar av den sociala sektorn fungerar.

For that purpose the software Capcal, which is a traffic model for intersection analysis on performance, is used in Sweden.

Transboundary protected areas are a fairly recent concept that have been increasing in popularity and are increasingly being integrated into large international organizations? environmental policy making. This essay examines the phenomena through the cooperation between two national parks, Parc National des Pyrénées in France and Parque Nacional Ordesa Monte Perdido in Spain. The theoretical framework used in this essay is based upon border theory, focusing on the different factors that influence the behavior of the border dweller and how the different social conceptions of nature influence the way it is managed. The results in this study result from researching published and private documents from the national parks and interviews carried out with staff from the park administrations from both countries.

Today, the organic egg production composes roughly 6 % of the total egg production in Sweden. This essay deals with the political upheavals which occurred in Japan with the Meiji Restoration of 1868 and its impact on the Samurai Class. This transitional period in Japanese history is portrayed in the film The Last Samurai from 2003, and it's the comparison between this Hollywood production and the current research on the subject on which this essay focuses. The purpose of the study is to describe and analyze how some users who publish training photos of themselves on Instagram experience how they present themselves within this forum and how these presentations affect/ are affected by their perceived self-esteem in their everyday life. The study is based on theories regarding self- esteem through Maslows? hierarchy of needs, the inner and outer self-esteem, and social comparisons.

Internet is therefore an interesting platform for investigating how information about religion is spread by researching religious behavior and expression. The focus of this essay is to examine visible, which includes text as a social practice, forms of religious expression shown by the discursive struggle between the Facebook-group Christian Women Against Femen and its counterpart feminist movement Femen. The essay seeks to answer how notions of femininity on the Internet are formulated and reproduced based on the discourse between these two women's movements.The essay highlights how the women?s movements, with their bodily manifestation and by their usage of words, construct and reproduce different images of gender and womanhood.

Suicid räknas till en av de mest tragiska händelserna i mänskligt liv. Det orsakar enormt stort lidande bland närstående såväl som stor ekonomisk förlust för hela samhället. Som sjuksköterska inom somatisk hälso- och sjukvård är det essentiellt att arbeta preventivt och identifiera suicidbenägna patienter. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att utröna faktorer som inverkar på vuxna patienters benägenhet för suicid och exemplifiera hur allmänsjuksköterskor inom somatisk hälso- och sjukvård kan förankra och tillämpa denna kunskap i praktiken. Arbetet har baserats på vetenskapliga artiklar sökta och funna genom databaserna CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct och PsykINFO.

SammandragBakgrund:Sexualitet är en väsentlig del av att vara människa och varje individ har rätt till en trygg och hälsosam sexualitet. Upprepade studier påvisar dock förändrade sexualvanor hos ungdomar med mer tillåtande attityder och ett ökat risktagande kring sexualitet. Konsekvenserna av ett sexuellt risktagande kan bli allvarliga och det förebyggande arbetet blir alltmer viktigt.Syfte:Syftet med studien var att identifiera vilka faktorer som har samband med ett sexuellt risktagande hos ungdomar i årskurs 2 på gymnasiet, samt att undersöka om könsskillnader förelåg.Metod:En empirisk studie med kvantitativ metod har använts. Studien bygger på ett redan insamlat material som är byggt på en enkätundersökning. Materialet har analyserats i statistikprogrammet SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) och via Chi-square test testades där huvudvariabeln, >3 sexualpartners under det senaste året, mot relevanta variabler i enkäten.
