A common health complaint affecting the quality of life in elderly persons are sleep difficulties. Physical activity is claimed to improve sleep quality and the maintenance of a normal circadian rhythm. Several studies have shown positive effects of physical activity on sleep quality, still the evidence of physical activity as sleep-Promoter is insufficient. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate associations between physical activities and sleep quality in persons ?60 years of age.

The aim of this master thesis was to examine a possible connection between chromatin functions and the DNA damage repair system, with the imprinted IGF2/H19 locus as a bait. Interactions can occur within and between chromosomes and it has been shown that H19 ICR on both alleles can communicate with alleles on other chromosomes. The methylation-sensitive insulator protein CTCF is bound on the maternal H19 ICR and acts as an insulator by blocking the IGF2 Promoter to access its enhancers. This is possible by formation of loop structures by CTCF that enables intra and inter-chromosomal interactions. CTCF is poly(ADP-ribosyl)ated by PARP-1 when it is bound to H19 ICR.

This master?s thesis aims at examining and structuring different viewpoints concerning the assignments of the Swedish public library system. The method used is ideology analysis.The main questions are: what are the overriding goals connected to each of the different assignments? How are these goals motivated? By which means are the goals to be reached? And how does our analysis relate to earlier research on the assignments of the Swedish public library? The thesis can be said to consist of three main parts. Part one is a theoretical framework introducing the concept ?ideology analysis? and the concept ?schools of thought?.

We wanted to identify relevant behaviors and actions of the leader that may increase the work with feedback.

Aim and scientific issuesThe aim was to identify potential health risks, for full-time working parents with small children, caused by time shortage. The intention was to better understand and help this particularly time-pressured group in society to achieve a healthier lifestyle. The identification was built upon their own opinions about possible health risks and upon an interpretation of the health risks from a health Promoter?s perspective.How do full-time working parents with young children handle time-shortage in a health perspective, specified in the categories: sleep, recovery, nutrition, physical activity, social health and mental health?What consequences for health does time?shortage have for full-time working parents with young children?What do parents with young children think could help them to obtain a better health in everyday life? MethodThe study was based on a literature overview and semi-structured interviews with 6 people who were strategically selected: the interview objects were all full-time working or studying, had one child under 7 and lived together with a partner. All interviews were recorded using two dictaphones and were implemented, transcribed and analyzed by both writers of this essay to increase the reliability of the results.ResultsTime shortage is shown to be handled especially through priorities in the respondent?s lives.

Övergången mellan projektering och produktion har identifierats som en synnerligen komplicerad övergång inom byggprocessen, där många aktörer lämnar projektet och nya tar över. Av den anledningen är det av betydelse att de handlingar som projektören lämnar vidare till entreprenören är av god kvalitet för att undvika missförstånd ute på byggarbetsplatsen. De fel som förorsakas vid projekteringen anses vara de fel som orsakar de största felkostnaderna inom ett byggprojekt och som dessutom leder till kvalitetsbrister i anläggningen. Våren 2014 kom Svensk Byggtjänst ut med sin rapport Besparingsmöjligheter genom effektivare kommunikation i byggprocesser, i vilken det konstateras att den bristande kommunikationen fördyrar byggprojekt med 32 miljarder kronor per år. Vidare förklaras att den tydligaste orsaken till den bristande kommunikationen är otydliga handlingar och anbudsunderlag. Med utgångspunkt i arbetets problemområde är avsikten att genom aktörernas olika perspektiv belysa problematiken med bristfälliga handlingar och anläggningar för att undersöka om det finns samband. Samt försöka utreda vad som avses med god kvalitet gällande handlingar och anläggningar. Vad är definitionen av god kvalitet gällande handlingar? Vad är definitionen av god kvalitet gällande anläggningar? Vilka fel eller brister anses vara vanligare i handlingar? Finns det samband mellan handlingars och anläggningars kvalitet? Litteraturstudie ligger till grund för arbetets frågeställning.
