The forest owner cooperative has observed difficulties with keeping women as forest advisers/ buyers. This is a problem because the organisation wish to have both men?s and women?s qualifications. The organisation?s purpose in their equality and multiplicity plan is to increase the knowledge and awareness of equality and multiplicity, increase the credibility to the members and customers, and to be well prepared for the future need of qualifications. The purpose of this paper is to identify if there are any conditions that may limit female employees at this particular service.

Denna kvalitativa fallstudie undersöker hur svenskämnet på IB-Programmet regleras i styrdokumenten, hur styrdokumenten kan omsättas till undervisningspraktik samt vilka fördelar och nackdelar lärare som undervisar i både IB-svenskan och de nationella svenskkurserna Svenska A och Svenska B upplever med IB-svenskan. Fallstudiens metoder är en hermeneutisk styrdokumentsanalys av IB-svenskans styrdokument i relation till kursplanen för Svenska B, en halvstrukturerad observation av en lektion i IB-svenska och halvstrukturerade intervjuer med de två lärare som undervisar i IB-svenska på den undersökta gymnasieskolan. Som analysverktyg nyttjas ramfaktor- samt frirumsmodellen. De slutsatser som kan dras utifrån fallstudien är att de yttre ramarna för IB-svenskan i form av styrdokumenten är snävare än för kursen Svenska B. Kursplanen, betygssystemet, ?Prescribed Book List?, den tillgängliga tiden, elevunderlaget och gruppstorleken utgör alla ramfaktorer som inskränker lärarnas frirum, både det upplevda och reella, i utformningen av och undervisningen i IB-svenska.

Abstract AimThe purpose of this study has been to investigate the possible differences in grades and attitudes towards further studies that can be explained by the student?s level of physical activity. The questions we wanted answers to were:- Does students in more sports-oriented programs have better grades than students in more theoretical programs?- Is there a relationship between physical activity and study-results?- Are there any differences in attitudes towards further studies for students at the different programs?- Which other variables could be affecting the students grades?Method The extent of this study has included 3 municipal schools and 6 classes (2 from each school) ? in all 119 students and 6 teachers. 3 different social sciences programs have participated ? two sports-oriented and one without any sports-oriented concentration .

One originated from and still situated in Iceland, while the other is a subsidiary for Asia-Pacific market in Singapore with American values from its headquarters in United States. We wish to explore what are the meanings and implications of diversity for the employees of each company, how their discourses on diversity reflect hypocrisy in the organizations and if and how national context has an impact on discourse on diversity.Methodology: Interviews were conducted, transcribed and codified. Comparison and evaluation of the different discourses were examined around diversity and in the talk of interviewees within the two companies.

This project was started within the Market-Design Programme of Elforsk, with the aim of developing representative test systems of Swedish distribution networks. Using such test systems as a basis for reliability and customer interruption cost calculations makes it feasible to analyse the network tariff regulation of Swedish power  istribution companies. In particular, it enables studies of the incentives for companies to invest in system reliability. Until now, the available test systems are either not representative of Swedish conditions, or too small in scale and limited in function.Within this project we have created two test systems. In order to represent the diversity of actual Swedish distribution networks, we have created one test system for urban environments and another for rural environments.

Hans Olof Alsén, born 16 august 1926, is a Swedish Social Democrat politician who served as the County Governor of Uppsala from 1986 to 1992. During the 1960s, -70s and -80s he had several political commissions including Member of Parliament and government Undersecretary. In addition he had numerous Board of Directors assignments in different business corporations as well as in non commercial associations both prior to, during and after the County Governor period.This paper describes the organizing and cataloguing of Hans Alsén's personal archives. The documents at hand were deposited at the regional state archives (Landsarkivet) in Uppsala in 2008 and 2009 by Alsén himself. The documents almost exclusively cover the County Governor years 1986-1992.

In this study we examine five selected media organisations with different forms of productionplatforms that all appear in Stockholm's southern and western suburbs, which are part of themillion-construction project. Their stated ambition is to present an alternative image of thesuburbs than that found in mainstream media. They want to portray themselves instead ofconstantly being described by others.The purpose of the study is to gain a better understanding of the reason for the emergenceof these media, their visions according to the media producers themselves, and how theyrelate to mainstream media. The study is based on a theoretical framework that focuses ondiverse approaches of alternative media and the journalists' role in a democratic society.The wide data analysis from qualitative informant interviews, with small observations as acomplement, showed results indicating criticism against the misrepresentation of Stockholmsuburbs in mainstream media. Furthermore the results show that the overall dissatisfaction ofthis misrepresentation is one of the main reasons why the different media, which are bothrepresented by citizens and journalists, were founded.

Purpose This thesis tries to create an understanding of how male homosexual entrepreneurs, both as persons and as a concept, relates to the fact that entrepreneurship, as well as the society as a whole, is heteronormative. Moreover, it examines by what methods the male homosexual entrepreneurs cope with the seemingly paradox of a homosexual man who also is an entrepreneur. Method The method has been qualitative from a social construction-point of view. We have made semi-structured interviews with nine male homosexual entrepreneurs and structured the findings from the interviews with a computer Programme and mind mapping techniques. We have compared the structured findings with theories, in an abducting manner, to find out an answer to the purpose of this thesis.

The assignment was to design a family of products in which LED was to be used as a source of light. The main focus in the initial part of the project was to find a way to design the inside of armature which was suitable for LED technology. An armature, already in the range of products at Fagerhult, with the desired qualities that was to be strived after was the Zintra. The lighting source of the Zintra is a compact fluorescent lamp.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka uppfattningarna hos karaktärsämneslärarna på gymnasiet med inriktning mot El-Programmet, elektronik/datorteknik vad gäller de arbetsuppgifter som de utför inom karaktärsämnet, hur förberedda de menar sig vara för dessa uppgifter, samt i vad mån de anser sig behöva utveckla sin kompetens. Vidare var syftet att ta reda på vilken kompetensutveckling som erbjuds för dessa arbetsuppgifter. Studien bygger, utifrån frågeställningen i syftet, på en kvalitativ undersökning med hjälp av intervjuer. Intervjuerna genomfördes med sex karaktärsämneslärare inom avsedda program fördelat på fyra gymnasieskolor i fyra olika orter.Resultatet visar att samtliga intervjuade känner sig kompetenta i sitt verksamma karaktärsområde i och med att de har både relevant utbildning och arbetslivserfarenhet. Men de flesta utför helst inte frivilligt det administrativa arbetet utan de vill ägna sin tid åt den tekniska delen som intresserar dem mest.

Syftet med föreliggande studie är att utifrån ett lärarperspektiv försöka tydliggöra några värderingar och attityder som finns i Frankrikes och Sveriges läroplaner. Jag undersöker vilken kunskapssyn läraren, lärarstudenten och läroplanerna ger uttryck för i respektive land, vad läroplanen säger om kunskap, mål, riktlinjer och arbetsmetoder, samt hur lärarstudenten och läraren ställer sig till detta. Min studie innefattas också av att titta på hur begreppen «en skola för alla» och «en elit av staten» kan tolkas till min undersökning. Bakgrundskapitlet bidrar med en historisk återblick om hur skolan har utvecklats och vilka grundläggande värderingar Frankrikes och Sveriges skola bygger på. Mitt arbete ger en översikt av litteratur som tar upp begreppen «en skola för alla» och «en elit av staten», kunskap och kompetens.

Internationella mätningar utförda av Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2012, visar att svenska elevers matematikresultat, är betydligt lägre än genomsnittet. I skolan finns därför ett stort intresse att lyfta de sjunkande matematik-resultaten genom att exempelvis utveckla matematikundervisningen. Matematiksatsningen i skolorna har delvis handlat om att utveckla undervisningen genom att använda sig av utomhusmatematik (Orre 2009). Men vad innebär utomhusmatematik? Det övergripande syftet med denna uppsats är att synliggöra matematikdidaktiska antaganden i utomhusmatematik.
