Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur lärare i gymnasieskolan arbetar med fiktioner av olika slag och om arbetssätten skiljer sig åt beroende på om undervisningen sker i ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett högskoleförberedande program. Fyra verksamma lärare intervjuades utifrån en halvstrukturerad intervjuguide. Resultatet visar att lärarna har frångått de gamla traditionella arbetssätten där man ofta arbetade i kronologisk ordning och där eleverna fick skriva recensioner. Idag läggs fokus på att hitta teman, koppla fiktioner till samhällets utveckling och elevernas egna liv och erfarenheter samt att analysera fiktioner via gruppdiskussioner alternativt helklassdiskussioner. Filmens roll i skolan har fått högre status och filmens språk har tagit plats i undervisningen.

The purpose of this essay was to develop a conservation program for the outdoor environment at the Zorn House (Zorngården) in Mora, Dalarna, situated in the upper central part of Sweden. In the conservation program the Zorn House garden?s origins and development process has been studied by historical studies of various kinds. As a result a status report also has been made and a description of the garden's values. This has resulted in an objective discussion that provides guidelines for how the garden can be developed in the future.

Skanska 21 is a student program for university students. The program runs for a year and a half parallel to university studies. It is aimed at those studying a few specific master engineering programs at Lund University, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Chalmers University of Technology or Luleå University of Technology. The program consists of a number of program meetings such as company presentations, a boarding school week, rhetoric training and project visits. The aim of the project is to evaluate the Skanska 21 student program.

To integrate environmental concerns into non-environmental policy making has become an important policy objective within the European Union. This essay investigates policy instruments in use to achieve environmental policy integration in the EU's transport sector respectively fisheries sector. The point of departure is a theoretical discussion about governance and the use of different policy instruments for environmental management at the EU-level. The focal point is the argumentation that regulatory policy instruments alone cannot achieve environmental policy integration satisfactory. By using Jordan et al's classification of so called "new" environmental policy instruments (market-based instruments, voluntary agreements and ecolabels) as complements to regulatory measures, the essay investigates whether the first-mentioned are used within the two sectors.

The purpose of this work is to do an investigation on the customers in the pharmaceutical sector; mainly general physicians who have taken part in the education events have any impact in their prescription behaviour after the participation in the program. The settings for this study are general practitioners in the Swedish market who have taken part in the education program held by Novo Nordisk in the treatment of diabetes disease. Methodology: The methodological approach adopted for this work is quantitative; using secondary data from the internal database from the company. The analytical model is tested through statistical analysis using the data?s obtained from the databases.

Research shows that people with burnout experience a high degree of impairments in a range of cognitive functions including memory, attention and concentration. The overall aim of the present study is to investigate whether there is a correlation between subjective estimates of cognition and cognitive performance with objective tests in people with burnout with a focus on working memory and executive functions. Three specific questions were addressed; First, what cognitive problems are described and to what degree? Second, is the performance of executive and working memory tests related to self-reported cognitive problems? Third, are the self-reported cognitive problems related to measures of psychological distress? The study included 77 patients, 65 women and 12 men, with a mean age of 43.48 years. The results show that patients with burnout perceive themselves as having significantly impaired cognition in everyday life, which is clearly evident on the basis of the self-assessment forms PRMQ and CFQ.

Syftet med vår studie är att lyfta fram ämnesintegreringens positiva möjligheter för att få ele-verna mer motiverade i kärnämnena. Med hjälp av intervjuer med kärnämneslärare, karaktärs-ämneslärare, resurslärare och skolledare samt enkätundersökningar med elever på gymnasie-skolor som har yrkesförberedande program har vi försökt att komma fram till gemensamma metoder som skulle kunna öka ämnesintegrering och därigenom ge eleverna ökad motivation och förståelse för att kärnämnena är lika viktiga som karaktärsämnena. Vi har delat in resulta-tet i fyra olika delar: samtal och intervjuer med lärare som undervisar på yrkesförberedande program, en djupintervju med en skolledare på en skola som har yrkesförberedande program, enkätundersökningar med elever på yrkesförberedande program samt egna observationer un-der kurser med ämnesintegrering. Sammanfattningsvis tycker vi att lärare på dessa skolor är i stort intresserade av att arbeta mer ämnesintegrerat. Kärnämneslärarna tycker att det vore önskvärt att karaktärsämneslärarna försöker finna sammankopplingar från karaktärsämnet till deras kärnämne så att eleverna ser sambandet mellan praktiken och teorin.

Den här undersökningen syftar till att se hur olika undervisningsmetoder i matematik används i dagens gymnasieskola och hur de uppfattas av lärare och elever. Finns det några skillnader/likheter i åsikter angående matematikundervisningen mellan lärare, elever från studieförberedande och elever från yrkesförberedande program? Denna frågeställning är mycket aktuell eftersom det förs en ständig debatt om behovet av förändrade undervisningsformer i matematik för att elevers intresse i ämnet skall öka. Min studie visar att de så kallade ?traditionella? undervisningsformerna i matematik som t.ex.

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis ist to analyze the idea progress in the party programs in the swedish Centre-party during the time 1910-1959. The progress in the party program is compared with the evolution of society during the same period.The bachelor´s aim is also to analyze how each new program is described in newspapers, two newspapers were chosen to make the comparison; Arbetet (a social-democratic newspaper), and Skånska Dagbladet (a centre-party newspaper). The result shows that the party in the beginning was conservative and against both capitalism and socialism. The start of the party was a reaction against the new electionsystem which was introduced in Sweden in 1909.The party took a clear standpoint for the Swedish farmers, but after 1933, they were standing for the whole countryside. In the 1940´s and the 1950´s the party became more like a social liberal party rather than an agrarian party only for the farmers.The party programs are not given much space in the two newspapers.

Syftet med denna studie är dels att undersöka hur eleverna ser på sitt inflytande och sin delaktighet i idrottsundervisningen utformning och genomförande, i gymnasieskolans kurs Idrott och Hälsa A, och vad de har för attityd och inställning till elevinflytande samt att undersöka dels hur deras lärare arbetar med elevinflytande och vilka attityder de har till elevernas inflytande. Studien kommer att undersöka skillnader mellan studie- och yrkesförberedande program. Vi har intervjuat elever från fyra olika gymnasieutbildningar, två studieförberedande och två yrkesförberedande program, samt deras lärare.Resultatet visar att både lärare och elever generellt är väldigt positivt inställda till att eleverna har inflytande över idrottsundervisningen men att problematik med att utöva inflytande finns. Lärare anger tid- och resursbrist som två viktiga faktorer och det framkommer att elevernas inflytande kan vara begränsat till relativt obetydliga situationer. En majoritet av eleverna ser elevinflytande som viktigt men avsäger sig i många fall inflytande med motiveringen att de är nöjda med undervisningen och att de har ett stort förtroende för lärarna.Skillnader framkom mellan studie- och yrkesförberedande program, men man kan i denna begränsade studie diskutera huruvida dessa kanske snarare kan tillskrivas lärarnas olika attityder, arbetsmetoder och ledarstilar..

It is said that concepts of organizational management can pave the way to success. This is not accurate and it is something that will be shown in the following study. Its most prominent conclusion is that the valuation governance to some extent has an impact on the formal structures, but that it had no further effects on the employee?s way of work. The purpose of this study was to investigate how the valuation governance is applied in Medley AB and the meaning of it.

The aim of this study was to measure the castration coverage and the attitudes among people towards castration in an area in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, where a castration program has been running for a few years. Another aim was to review the literature to examine the link between castration coverage and rabies prevalence. Two areas (Area 25 and Area 23) in Lilongwe were studied through standardized household interviews. In Area 25, a non-governmental organization had been castrating dogs weekly to twice weekly for free for 3 years. In Area 23, no official organization had done castrations, and this area therefore acted as a control in the study.

Objective: The objective was to examine the incidence of constipation, and the preventive measures taken in relation with postoperative pain treatment with opioids at two orthopaedic surgery wards.Methods: The participants were patients that had undergone surgery in the back, hip or thigh. They were selected through systematic selection and a total of 46 electronic health records were examined. The factors investigated and tested for correlation with constipation were the usage of laxatives, daily fluid-intake and early mobilisation.Results: Totally, 26.1 % of the patients became constipated, and laxatives were prescribed to 65.2 % of the patients. Doctors prescribed 53.3 % of the laxatives, nurses 33.3 % and for the remaining 13.3 % it was uncertain who had written the prescription. Usage of laxatives seemed to cause constipation (p=0,025), whereas there was no correlation between constipation and early mobilization.

The purpose of this essay is to describe how probation service officers regard their professional role and their liberty of action within the motivational treatment program, MIK, and the probation organization. To answer the purpose three questions were formulated: 1) Does the probation service organization affect the individual discretion for the probation service officers, and in that case how? 2) Does the motivational treatment program, MIK, influence the probation officers? professionalism and their professional role? 3) What advantages and disadvantages do the probation service officers consider MIK being related to? The method conducted in the study was interviews with five probation service officers in Stockholm. The interviews were combined with a theoretical framework based on themes as organization, professional role, professionalism and motivation. The result showed that probation officers consider themselves to have a relatively high discretion within their work.
