This thesis work involves a quantitative study concerning secondary school students' understanding of older Swedish words in the lyrics in the Lucia song written by Elmfors way back in 1919th. The text has some old words and phrases that today's high school students do not really understand. The study includes surveys of two different classes in high school, a theoretical and a practical program. In some cases students can understand words by the context, but previous research shows results in general weakness in students' existing vocabulary. According to previous research, this is due, inter alia, that young people read and write less today.The results of all students are totally 38%, where the theoretical program has a slightly higher performance.

The purpose of this essay is to describe how Boverkets Byggregler has affected the cost ofnewly built houses from 2003 to 2012, to Boverkets Vision 2025. The purpose is also to findagent-principal relations in the construction sector.When investing in an energy efficient house the operating costs are reduced compared to aconventional house. But due to the lower operating costs, the investment cost rises. In thisstudy, we find out if it is economically viable to invest in an energy efficient house comparedto a conventional house from the customer's perspective.The study's approach has been qualitatively where we in collaboration with Derome Hus hadaccess to three conventional reference houses and a passive house and data that was necessaryto conduct viability assessments on houses. We conducted five interviews with people fromDeromekoncernen and Varbergs kommun.The calculation methods we have used in this study are present value method, annuity methodand a sensitivity analysis.

SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen är skriven för att undersöka vad gymnasieelever anser om en eventuell bedömning av ordning och uppförande i den svenska skolan. Den huvudsakliga forskningsfrågan är: skiljer sig elevernas uppfattningar inom ämnet beroende på om de går ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett studieförberedande program? Genom en enkätundersökning som totalt 127 elever från 3 gymnasieskolor i Gävleborgs län fyllt i har jag fått fram min empiri. Det huvudsakliga resultatet av undersökningen visar att elever från yrkesförberedande program är mer för en bedömning av ordning och uppförande än elever från studieförberedande program.     De har den gemensamma åsikten att bedömningen skall ske som ett separat dokument.

Energy issues are constantly increasing attention in today's society. People's impact on Earth isentered in more contexts. Many discussions are about how the entire social structure needs to bestreamlined in order to achieve sustainability. The residential and service sector accounts for 39 % oftoday's total energy consumption in Sweden and the increasing electricity prices have made buyersmore interested in energy issues.There are many buildings in need of refurbishment today, including all the apartments that werebuilt in the 1970s to reduce the housing shortage at the time. 650 000 apartments of one millionapartments were built during the so-called the one million program and is currently in need ofrefurbishment.

Denna rapport inriktar sig till ett mindre företag som vill tillhandahålla en egen fjärrbackuplösning. Backupen ska göras från en server placerad i företagets lokal till en lagringsenhet i någon av ägarnas hem med hjälp av VPN-förbindelse. För detta krävs ett program som har stöd för att göra uppkoppling automatiskt via VPN på en Windows 2008 Server, 64-bit plattform. Utöver det ska kryptering, komprimering och funktion för full och inkrementell backup finnas tillgängligt i programmet. Fyra fjärrbackupprogram har därför utsetts för jämförelse av hur de kan lösa företagets krav.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka om det finns skillnader i antalet dyslektiker mellan könen på de skolor som vi har undersökt. Vi vill även se om det finns andra faktorer som påverkar att det kan finnas skillnader i könsfördelningen av dyslektiker på skolorna. Det har framkommit i olika forskningsstudier om dyslexi att det är fler pojkar än flickor som är dyslektiker. De uppgifterna har på senare tid ifrågasatts av nya forskningsrön inom dyslexi. Det som intresserar oss i vår undersökning är hur könsfördelningen hos dyslektiker ser ut inom yrkesförberedande program i förhållande till högskoleförberedande program.

This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary collaborations between Art and Mathematics within the Arts program at the upper secondary school level. Grounded in sociocultural theory, this study explores learning through language, action, and context, drawing on the works of theorists such as Lev Vygotsky (1995/2016), John Dewey (1897/2011) and Roger S?lj? (2020). Through semi-structured interviews, educators in both Art and Mathematics discuss shared subject content and explore opportunities and obstacles in fostering a collaborative culture within the Arts program at the upper secondary school level. The study reveals common subject content in Art and Mathematics suitable for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Sweden is known to be one of the world?s most equal countries. Nevertheless, out  of  Sweden?s 262 listed companies, only seven  of  them  has  a  female  president, which  is  equal  to  3,4  percent. To  counteract  these  numbers  there  are  several  possibilities.  One  arrangement  that  is  highly  controversial     is  affirmative  actions.  But  there  are  other  options,  for  instance  more  and  more female  networks  are  starting  to  rise  and  many  of  them  also  offers  a  mentoring  program  where  the  mentee  gets  the  opportunity  to  learn  from  someone  with  more  experience.The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  examine  what  difference  the  female  network  Q80,  with  focus  on  its  mentoring  program,  is  doing  for  the  mentee.  As  an  underlying  purpose  the  study  is  also  examining  what  visions  and  attitudes  the  management  and  the  mentors  is  communicating  within  Q80.  The  focus  is  mainly  on  the  visions  of  Q80,  menas  mentors  and  business  exceeding mentorship.  A  survey  has  been  carried  out  among  mentees  from  three  different  seats of mentoring  programs  where  they  have  answered  19  different  questions  regarding  their  time  as  a  mentee.  Furthermore  interviews  have  taken  place  with the management  of Q80  and  two  mentors.  The  results  are  analyzed  based  on  theories  about  gender,  women  in   management,  leadership,  mentoring  program  and  organizational structure.  The  result  shows  that  Q80i  as  a  source  of  inspiration  and  a  support  for  the  category  of  "career  women"  with  its  core  mission  to  strengthen  the  participation of  individuals  on  a  personal  level  more than  to  work  to  even  out  the  gap  in  the  Swedish  labor market.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka vad svensk forskning de senaste 20 åren har för rekommendationer för en god grammatikundervisning, samt att undersöka läromedel för gymnasiekurserna i svenska. Utifrån de rekommendationer som utläses i forskningen har uppsatsförfattarna gjort en läromedelsanalys där de undersökt huruvida läromedelsförfattarna följer rekommendationerna i grammatikavsnitten. Uppsatsförfattarna har också undersökt om det råder en skillnad mellan läromedel som riktar sig till praktiska och teoretiska program på gymnasiet, för att se om den ena programinriktning följer rekommendationerna mer än den andra. Resultatet visar att de fem undersökta läromedlen inte följer forskningens rekommendationer i större utsträckning. Läromedlen som riktar sig till praktiska program har större likheter sinsemellan än vad läromedlen för teoretiska program har.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka elevers och lärares uppfattning om elevers utvecklingsmöjligheter på de yrkesförberedande programmen, och om svensklärarna på dessa program anser att deras arbetssätt främjar och utmanar eleverna till högre betyg i svenskämnet. Vi har valt att göra en kvalitativ undersökning där vi använder oss av två olika datainsamlingsmetoder, enkäter och intervjuer. Vårt material består av 86 elevenkäter, fyra lärarenkäter, sex elevintervjuer och fyra lärarintervjuer. Våra respondenter kommer från två gymnasieskolor i södra Sverige. Resultatet visar att eleverna på de skolor där undersökningen gjorts överlag har möjlighet och kapacitet att höja sina betyg.

Efter den genomförda enkätundersökningen kan det konstateras att frequent flyer program inverkar på och förstärker medlemmarnas mobilitet. En ökad mobilitet leder även till ökade påfrestningar på miljön. Klimatkompensation, med donation av frequent flyer poäng, skulle kunna vara ett sätt för att minska på den förstärkta mobiliteten men viljan hos medlemmarna att spendera sina poäng på klimatkompenserande åtgärder är låg. Frequent flyer programmen bör dessutom omstruktureras så att de i högre utsträckning fokuserar på kringtjänster som inte bidrar till att förstärka medlemmarnas mobilitet..

This examination work brings up opportunities to invest in a construction for heating with grain or pellets on farm level. As example we have chosen Fröberga Gård which is a farm located in Östergötland outside of Söderköping. The farm`s residential buildings is to day heated with oil and electricity. The result of our investigation shows that heating with grain is the best alternative, partly because of economical issues but also because you can grow the grain on your own farm and by that you can get better economy in your seed cultivation. To grow 16 tonne of grain as is needed demand gives a insignificant increase of work. Further an advantage is that no investment in machines is needed because all the machines witch is needed already is in use on the farm. In a situation where a new investment is needed as in the case we studied, is it often profitable to invest in a integrated furnace. Because all the components are well adapted to each other, and because that gives a high efficiency. If you already own a well working furnace is it often most profitable to connect a burner to it. It is important to know that heating with grain need more work than heating with pellets, because the high contents of ash in grain. Even if you choose pellets instead of grain the calculation shows good results. Because peat is an excellent but fairly untested raw material for pelletsproduction we have chosen to watch little more on its quality and conductions. We discovered that peat has a high heating value which makes it possible to raise the heat value in pellets through mix up peat and wood. Or you can make pellets with only peat and get a pellet with high heating value. Even the calculation with peatheating shows good results..

In the spring of 2014 Sweco Systems AB were commissioned to design a ventilation system for a newly built preschool in Linköping. Terms from the client was that it cost efficiency would cope with the energy demands that are placed on the building. The unit chosen was a cross-flow heat exchanger, and this work is to compare it with two other heat exchangers to see if a more energy and cost efficient could have been chosen. The heat exchangers that was chosen for the comparison was a rotating- and a counterflow heat exchanger. Simulations have been made to the different heat exchangers by the manufacturers.

SammanfattningSyftet med det här examensarbetet är att genom en läromedelsanalys jämföra betygsmålen för EN 1201 (Engelska A) med sex utvalda läromedel, varav tre läromedel för yrkesförberedande program samt tre för studieförberedande program, för att granska om de satta målen uppnås. Det har även undersökts huruvida läromedel avsedda för studieförberedande respektive yrkesförberedande program innehåller skillnader med avseende på hur de behandlar betygsmålen.Resultatet visar att inget läromedel når upp till alla mål och det är främst två mål som fattas i läromedlen: (1) att jämföra kulturtraditioner/levnadssätt/samhällsförhållande samt (2) elevers reflekterande över lärandet. Även texter och övningar utifrån elevers studieinriktning saknas ofta. Grammatik får stor plats i läromedlen fast att det inte finns med som ett specifikt mål.Slutsatsen är att lärare inte enbart kan stödja sin undervisning på läromedlen utan det krävs en professionell tolkning av målen och en lokal arbetsplan för läraren att stödja sin undervisning på. This work has been done by three development engineers and one computer engineer and in some cooperation with the company Phoniro. This report is written for computer science and is mainly oriented on the programming part in the project. The goal has been to develop a program that ensures the quality of the care that the home care organization delivers. The program is developed for cellphones and is supposed to be used in every visit. Several functions have been developed for the reason of reducing mistakes in patient visits, where the focus was on safe medication.
