Sustainability issues have become increasingly high-Profile and important in recent decades. In addition, quality issues have come to play a central role in corporate marketing, strategy and management. The word quality can be defined differently in different contexts. This paper focuses on the concept of quality, based on the Total Quality Management perspective, which in Swedish has come to be known as Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling has been described as a theoretical framework in which an organization continually strives to meet and preferably exceed customer needs and expectations at the lowest cost through continuous improvement, and in which all members of the organization are committed and focused on the organisation's processes. The purpose of this study was twofold. First, to clarify the applicability of the theoretical model Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling as a theoretical explanatory model. Second, to explore how Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB performs according to the values in Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. A multiple case study was conducted in order to explore these topics. The results showed that Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB is working in a dedicated and value-driven manner, aligned with the values ??that form the basis for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. The results also showed that the model for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling could serve well as a theoretical explanatory model, but that the model would benefit from being developed, enriched or integrated with other models.

Syftet med denna studie var att pröva olika teorier om stamning, avseende nivå av muskelspänning vid flytande tal. Tjugofyra försöksdeltagare ingick i studien, tolv stammande och tolv kontrolldeltagare. Försöksdeltagarnas muskelaktivitet i musklerna orbicularis oris (OO) och depressor labii inferior (DLI) uppmättes med hjälp av elektromyografi (EMG) vid flytande tal och vid en icke verbal uppgift, att puta med läpparna. De stammandes grad av stamning bedömdes med The Wright and Ayre Stuttering Self-Rating Profile (WASSP) och Stuttering Severity Instrument, fjärde upplagan, (SSI-4) för att korrelera denna med muskelaktiviteten. Ingen statistisk signifikant skillnad avseende muskelaktivitet mellan grupperna kunde påvisas, varken i flytande tal eller vid den icke verbala uppgiften.

The effect of total dietary fat on the blood lipid Profile: a reviewFat consumption has increased in Sweden in the 21th century, probably due to the advancement of the diet low car high fat (LCHF). Also, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of premature death in Sweden. Various blood lipids are used to evaluate the cardiovascular disease risk; total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides among others. High levels of total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides and low levels of HDL are believed to increase the risk. The purpose of this review was to examine the effects of high-fat-diet on blood lipids, cholesterol, LDL, HDL the ratio between LDL/HDL and triglycerides through a systematic review.

WHO:s klassifikation av funktionstillstånd, funktionshinder och hälsa antogs 2001. ICF är framtaget för att skapa ett gemensamt språk genom olika ICF koder som anses vara användbara både kliniskt och inom forskningen. Genom att länka mätinstrument som redan används, exempelvis självskattningsskalor, till ICF underlättas kommunikation och jämförelser av olika resultat internationellt.Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka vilken ämnesspecifik självskattningsskala inom hörselområdet som använts mest inom forskningen mellan åren 2000-2009 och länka den till ICF.Vi använde oss av en systematisk litteratur-studie i form av en totalundersökning för att hitta den mest använda självskattningsskalan inom forskningen. Vid länkningen av den mest använda självskattningsskalan till ICF utförde vi en kvalitativ latent innehållsanalys och länkade självskattningsskalans påståenden systematiskt med hjälp av ICF linking rules.Abbreviated Profile of Hearing Aid Benefit (APHAB) var den mest använda självskattningsskalan inom forskningen mellan år 2000-2009. Länkningsresultatet visade att APHAB utifrån ett ICF perspektiv mäter komponenterna aktivitet och delaktighet, kroppsfunktion och omgivningsfaktorer.Det fortsatta arbetet med utveckling av ett Core Sets for Hearing Loss kommer underlätta användningen både kliniskt och inom forskningen.

This study shows how to plan a pond with an ecosystem which although it will have turtles living in it will not need to be cared. I will also demonstrate how this pond would be designed to work in the natural landscape on Mallorca. The background to the study is that I am interested to investigate how plants that we in Sweden are using as indoor plants are growing in their natural landscape and how to build a land-scape with them. The study highlights different cleaning-systems that can be used to clean a pond in a natural way. A comparison will be made between the conditions of an exterminated turtle-species which will live in this environment and a species that is easier to care for.

Stressrelaterade besvär ger idag upphov till en stor andel av sjukskrivningarna. Omorganisation och automatisering av en process inom arbetslivet, kan ge upphov till stora initiala problem och därmed leda till stressupplevelser och sjukskrivning. Vid det undersökta ysteriet förändrades processen från manuell till helautomatisk. En rad problem uppstod till en början. Arbetstiderna kunde inte hållas, vilket ledde till flera sjukskrivningar bland personalen.

This bachelor thesis contains the findings of an investigation into the laying of wedge sawn wood flooring. The advantage of wedge sawn wood flooring is the usage of more material from each board reducing waste. The boards follow the natural Profile of the tree where the root part of the board is wider, and the top part is narrower. The technique involves placing boards side by side with adjacent boards in opposite directions. The thick base of one board is neighbored by the narrow top of another, this creates a pattern of wedges in alternating directions, known as a ?root and top? system. Existing literature into this type of flooring is sparce.

The ability to detect protein-based biomarkers, which are linked to different diseases like colorectal cancer, is very important as a diagnostic tool. Usually complex biological samples like blood are studied which will contribute to different technical issues when performing an assay. The aim with the project is to optimize and develop the high throughput protein detection technique Proximity Extension Assay, PEA, into a 96-plex panel, in hopes of discovering an expression Profile for colorectal cancer. PEA was developed by Olink Bioscience and allows specific proteins in a sample to be quantitatively transformed into nucleic acid sequences that are subsequently detected and quantified with real-time PCR. Two proximity probes containing oligonucleotide sequences bind pairwise to target protein and when brought in proximity, a DNA polymerase will extend a hybridization arm from one probe over to the second forming a double-stranded DNA sequence that can serve as a template in real-time PCR.

MethodThe method that has being used in the essay is a qualitative study where we have used semi constructed interviews to create a deeper understanding for brand building in a football club.

Bakgrund: Historiskt sett har fokus gällande hälsoinsatser främst handlat om förebyggande åtgärder samt att rehabilitera redan skadade och/eller sjuka. Denna syn på hälsa och hälsoarbete har på senare tid förändrats mot att nu ha en starkare tro på vikten av hälsofrämjande insatser. Vi tycker båda att förändringsarbeten är mycket intressanta och ville därför undersöka huruvida hälsoprofilsbedömningen är ett lämpligt verktyg för just friskvårdsinsatser i företagsmiljö.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka deltagarnas upplevelser under deltagande i en friskvårdssatsning med hälsoprofilsbedömning som metod samt om hälsoprofilsbedömningen kan motivera till en hälsosammare livsstil.Metod: Detta har undersökts med hjälp av en kvalitativt inriktad studie på ett företag med totalt tio anställda. Empirisk data har samlats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och sedan analyserats med inspiration från fenomenologisk analysmetod.Resultat: Deltagarna upplevde att hälsoprofilsbedömningen tillhandahöll ett nuläge att förhålla sig till då de ska påbörja eller fortsätta en livsstilsförändring mot ett hälsosammare liv. De ansåg att friskvårdsinsatsen vittnar om hur verksamhetscheferna värderar hälsa högt samt visar på en förståelse för sambandet mellan god medarbetarhälsa och framgångsrik verksamhet.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how two young adult departments at two public libraries work and what Profiles the young adult departments have. To examine the work and Profiles at the young adult departments I have used the following questions: What are the ideas about working with young adults? How are the two departments in this study working whit young adults? What or which are the Profiles of the young adult departments in this study?To answer the questions above I used a qualitative method based on interviews with the librarians responsible for the young adult departments. To complete the interviews I studied the libraries Internet sites and official documents. The examined departments are located at two city libraries and were chosen manly for their focused age group, 15-25 years and that the departments are well established.To analyse the results I used the theoretic model of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen about the role of the public library.

Background: Students, at a secondary upper school, attending a practical programme have a lower physical capacity than students from theoretical programs. Our physical self-esteem has a great significance for our motivation in being physically active and thereby also for our health. The purpose: of this study is to find out if there is a difference between perceived physical self-esteem and objectively measured physical activity between students attending a practical programme and a theoretical programme. Method: Four classes, in a medium-sized town in the southeast of Sweden, participated in the study, two classes from practical programmes and two classes from theoretical programmes. All the students were in their final year at the upper secondary school, when they were part of the study during the autumn of 2011.

Det visuella uttrycket har länge varit viktigt inom grafisk formgivning eftersom det förmedlar så mycket mer än ögat ser. Ett varumärke representerar inte bara namnet på företaget utan också dess syfte och idé. Därför ska den visuella Profilen utstrålar organisationens visioner på ett tydligt sätt och ge betraktaren en skön helhets upplevelse. Många gånger hjälper det att fräscha upp ett varumärkes visuella profil för att på så sätt kunna lansera företaget på nytt och i viss mån även öka dess konsumtion.Detta examensarbete redovisar för produktionen och designprocessen kring re-design av Sveriges Kommunikationsbyråers (Komm!) specialpris Titanpriset. Komm! tyckte Titanpriset behövde få en egen identitet och gav mig i uppgift att skapa detta.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the public libraries work towards SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) based on the views of the overseeing librarians. To study this we have asked the following research questions:What distinguishes the public libraries? work towards SFI according to the responsible librarians? What distinguishes the communication between SFI teachers and the librarians according to the responsible librarians? What opinions are held by the librarians in regards to their work with SFI?We have used a semi structured interview method with seven librarians in charge of the activities with SFI at small and medium sized public libraries in a rural area of Sweden. The theoretical framework is composed of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local public library Profile and the authors? definition of collaboration.

This is a 20 points graduation thesis, performed at the Department of Urban and Rural Development at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. The main aim of this thesis is to examine what it is like to combine studying with working and starting your own company. Furthermore, I want to be able to convey this knowledge to others. An important part of being a landscape architect is informing people, and making rather abstract issues tangible. The word 'entrepreneur' is originally French. Today, we think of entrepreneurs, or contractors, as energetic people, who dare to try new ideas. There are many reasons why people start their own company, but the most common ones are the wish to fulfil oneself and to be able to plan one's own time.
