Temperaturstyrning av aluminiumextruderingsprocess

In this final thesis a rough description of aluminium extrusion is made, the importance of temperature of both the raw material and the extruded Profile for a good Profile quality. The difficulty in controlling these temperatures are discussed and attempts to increase the control are described. The attempts are basically made by controlling the furnace that is heating the raw material. This is done in a manner that the raw material reaches its final temperature shortly before it is extruded. An IR-camera at the press can be used for Profile temperature measurements.

The following degree project deals with the production of an ICC-Profile, this in the form ofproducing ICC-Profiles for VTAB Backa. The company previously had their own Profile butthey weren?t satisfied, so earlier this year they started using the TU standard Profile, but theyalso wanted a complement to this in form of a Profile created for solely their printing press.The separation settings used when creating the new Profiles were based on information fromTU and their Profile. Two basic Profiles were created and then edited to obtain a better result.The test printings made with the edited Profiles showed that the less adjustments that are made,the better. It was also discovered that the TU standard Profile eliminates the highlight toneswhiles the new Profiles are somewhat darker.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to investigate whether Vara municipality has a continuous picture of their identity, Profile and image. Globalization has contributed to the increasingly growing of place marketing. Therefore, the study goes on to using the concepts of identity, Profile and image to find out if Vara Municipality communicates similar throughout the whole organization and find out their all through core values. Globalisation will be an interpretive framework for the work that describes why the place marketing is becoming more pressing. The sense of place will be a central part of this study as it is the feelings and images of different places that will be described by the municipality together with the identity, Profile and image.

This degree project has been done in parallel to the advertising agency Hera in Uppsala, and containsthe creating of a logotype and graphic Profile for Aircall, a new big chain of shops dealing with telecommunication.Aircall was found 1 February 2004, when three smaller companies became one. Thisnew company were in need of a common brand and a uniform Profile. The created graphic Profile hasbeen applied to visiting cards, letterhead, envelopes, letter cards, bags, cars and advertisement. Thegraphic Profile has also been used when designing the shop interior end exterior. Research has beendone on competitors graphic Profiles and advertisement.

Varför välja profilklass? : En kvalitativ undersökning om varför vissa föräldrar väljer att skicka sina barn till profilförskolor/skolor eller profilklasser

The aim of this study was to investigate how four families in the Stockholm area reason, what kind of preconception they have and what their horizon of expectations is when they make the choice between sending their children to the Profile class of municipal/free schools and sending them to the general classes in those schools. The main research questions asked were:What kind of preconception do the parents have about Profile classes?What reasons do the interviewed parents have to send their children to a Profile class?What are the interviewed parent?s expectations of the Profile class choice?The study is built on qualitative interviews with the parents of the families. The empirical data has been analyzed using a framework of theories drawing on the theory of reproduction, the forms of social capital, the ideas created from the word Profile and elite and the horizon of expectations. The results show that the parents of the families have a similar degree of preconception about Profile classes.

Aktiebolaget Marlot : Att skapa en grafisk profil och en Wordpress-sida.

Marlot Company Limited is a company in the sector household services. It is a new company where the owners, and also the clients, felt that the company was in need of a distinct platform where they could communicate with their current and prospective customers. The assignment was to create a platform consisting of a graphic Profile and a Wordpress site for the company. The graphic Profile's task was to distinctly Profile the company in the market, and visualizing the conceptions that the company wants to be associated with. The purpose of the Wordpress site was to create a showcase for Marlot towards their customers, and thecompany itself could manage after completion.These two products have been created with the help of a pilot study which included an analysis in which the competitors in the market has been scanned, and reports of the household services sector has been studied.

Utveckling av Flashapplikation - "Avatarskapare"

This report describes the development of an application in collaboration with Designingenjörerna AB. The company has worked for a long time with a community platform and they required an application where users can create their own unique Profile representations, called Avatar Creator. An Avatar Creator is computer based application, which makes it possible to create a virtual character. The problem area behind this is that, large websites require a lot of administrative work when people upload Profile pictures on different community pages. They can contain abusive material or pictures of other people rather than those who created the Profile.The questions in this report are, how can an Avatar Creator help user to get a unique Profile of himself? What are the advantages and disadvantages of an Avatar Creator? How to create a user-friendly application?To understand how an Avatar Creator works and get ideas to create an application, exiting Avatar Creators were reviewed on the Web.Collaborative work with Designingenjörerna AB was done to pin down the requirements for the Avatar creator application.

A strong brand can help a company to be easier to recognize and be remembered by their customers. Part of branding is to create a visual appearance which is called a graphic Profile and contains information on for instance a logo, colours or typography.The objective of this thesis was to create a graphic Profile for Stjørdal Tannhelsesenter that could serve as a base for a brand work in the future. It was important to analyze how the clinic wants to be perceived and how it is perceived today. The methods used to carry out this study were questionnaires, researches and a focus group.The work resulted in the generation of a graphic Profile that included a new logo, colours, decorative elements, fonts, templates for stationery, business card / badge, imagery, and examples of some publications.According to the test which was made to examine the results of the project showed that I was successful and that the new design meets all the requests from the previous questionnaires..

ICC-profilers funktionalitet vid byte av tryckfärgskvalitet

This degree theme work aims to evaluate the present ICC-Profile and printing ink of Dalarnas Tidningar AB. The companyhas changed printing ink quality and wants to evaluate how the present ICC-Profile work with the new printingink. Four different ICC-Profiles were included in the comparison.One test printing was accomplished with two different separations. Two new ICC-Profile was created, as a comparingmaterial. An densitometer was used to measure the technical parameters of the printing.
