The connection between fluorescence and color management still is a relatively unexplored area. Thefollowing composition analyses the theory that when printing on fluorescent ink jet paper using ICCprofilesa more yellow print will appear. In theory the ICC-profile compensate for blue light that fluorescefrom the paper with the complementary color, yellow. The human eye apprehands this fluorescentlight as white.When categorizing a number of ink jet qualities some tests to indicate change of color in the final printwere made. Five qualities were chosen for further analyses, each with different white point.

Denna undersökning handlar om elevers kunskaper och uppfattningar angående höstlöven och nedbrytning i naturen. Studien har gjorts på två skolor i årskurs 3. Skola A har profilen ?Natur och Miljö? och skola B är en större skola utan profil. Syftet med arbetet är dels att kartlägga elevers föreställningar om nedbrytning i naturen och dels att undersöka hur man kan arbeta med ämnet i skolan för att få en god lärandemiljö.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Karlstad City Fiber Network visual elements in the form of a pair of speech bubbles fit into the organization's holistic external communication and branding. The study examines whether Karlstad City Fiber Network image of the organization and the speech bubbles match the stakeholders view and how the visual elements are perceived and recognized by stakeholders. The theory associated with the study is theories of corporate visual identity, image, identity and branding and visual communication. Summary:The Clinical Training Center at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala uses new methods for educating and training veterinary students. Among these methods are computer programs. The aim of this study was to create an interactive application based on data from horses CT-scanned at the Center for Medical Image and Visualization at Linköping University Hospital. The purpose of this application is for veterinary students to be able to use multidimensional visualization to study equine anatomy. The resulting application named "EQUINE VIRTUAL ANATOMY - Flash in the Tunnel" consists of data from six heads, one left foreleg and a wooden dalahorse.

Detta examensarbete utreder avståndsbedömning med hjälp av bildbehandling och stereoseende för känd kamerauppställning.Idag existerar ett stort antal beräkningsmetoder för att få ut avstånd till objekt, men metodernas prestanda har knappt mätts. Detta arbete tittar huvudsakligen på olika blockbaserade metoder för avståndsbedömning och tittar på möjligheter samt begränsningar då man använder sig av känd kunskap inom bildbehandling och stereoseende för avståndsbedömning. Arbetet är gjort på Bofors Defence AB i Karlskoga, Sverige, i syfte att slutligen användas i ett optiskt sensorsystem. Arbetet utreder beprövadeResultaten pekar mot att det är svårt att bestämma en närmask, avstånd till samtliga synliga objekt, men de testade metoderna bör ändå kunna användas punktvis för att beräkna avstånd. In July 2011 the journalists Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson are arrested in Ethiopia when on a mission to report the activities of the oil exploration company Lundin Petroleum. Following a trial, closely observed by media, the two journalists are convicted to a prison sentence of eleven years. The Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Carl Bildt, is now to act on their behalf to preserve their rights as Swedish citizens. However, doubts are raised as to whether Bildt has a conflict of interest because of his former engagements as a board member in Lundin Petroleum.

In this essay, I have interviewed six young women about their views on body image and how their views are affected by their surroundings, massmedia and social media. Also the relationship between body image and eating disorders is relevant in this context and has a part in the study. The purpose of this study is to build an understanding of how young women relate to the body ideal that exists around them. Theoretical auxiliary tools used are George Herbert Mead's theory of the generalized other, Erving Goffman's theory of dramaturgical perspective and impression management, and Du Bois's theory of double consciousness. I have also used two scientific articles to get a deeper understanding of the subject.

The aim of this work has been to investigate how it is that it sometimes can be difficult for special educators to gain access by teachers to the classroom/lesson to make observations. A partial order has been to determine whether the special educator can curb the negative response from the teacher in question, concerning access to the classroom/lesson. The survey has a phenomenological perspective as the basis of the test procedures and the analyses made. Phenomenology has as its starting point that the human does not perceive the world in the same way, and that she has different motives and intentions for her actions. In order to understand why the human act like she does, you have to create an image of the personal meaning behind this action. To create this image, I have implemented conversational interviews with five teachers at a high school, in central Sweden. The investigation revealed that it is missing that the school's teachers are clearly informed of which laws and regulations the special educator is subordinate to.

År 1978 bröt en vild strejk ut på Bil och Traktor i Boden, detta till följd av företagsledningens krav på införande av prestationslöner som villkor för löneökning utöver det centrala avtalet. Konflikten kom att bli utdragen och de strejkande ställdes inför arbetsdomstolen två gånger och ålades de högsta bötesbelopp strejkande någonsin ålagts i Sverige. Denna rapport beskriver skapandeprocessen av webbsidan aiducate.se, vars syfte är att stötta, motivera och vägleda gymnasieelever i sin utbildning. Projektet genomfördes självständigt utan någon uppdragsgivare och pågick under en tidsperiod om tio veckor. Till grund låg en förundersökning som visade på bristande motivation hos gymnasieelever. I en kompletterande enkätundersökning fastställdes det att eleverna önskade en modernisering av utbildningen med utrymme för nutida undervisningsmetoder. Som ett komplement till gymnasieutbildningen framställdes därför innovationen Aiducate som i framtiden ska omfatta olika verktyg för studierna.

In the making of a new profile it requires creativity to succesfully think in new directions and to separate from the competition.This practical report presents the production process for a designsolution to the new website Röstförmedlingen (Voice agency), a commission from the production and commercial bureau Bartos media. The task in this project was to create a graphic profile and a lofi-prototype that would represent Röstförmedlingen as a buissness.

Detta arbete har som syfte att undersöka hur en pedagog kan använda sig av musik och rörelse i läs och skrivundervisningen. I förskolans värld är musik och rörelse vanligt förekommande i språkutvecklande syfte, men när barnen börjar skolan försvinner mycket av musiken i undervisningen och det språkutvecklande arbetet går mycket ut på att lära sig läsa och skriva. Oftast genomförs detta arbete med ren träning i läsning respektive skrivning. Undersökningen genomfördes med kvalitativa intervjuer. Jag valde att intervjua fyra pedagoger, en rytmikpedagog, en arbetade efter Steiners Eurytmi som är en del av Waldorfpedagogiken, en Montessoripedagog och en som arbetade på en vanlig kommunal skola utan särskild pedagogisk profil.
