The aim is to describe the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement of pain in patients. Literature study based on 13 reviewed articles, searched in the Cinahl. Qualitative and quantitative articles were analyzed. Six themes were identified that can be seen as the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement. The themes were   pain education, nurses´ experience in the profession, nurses´ level of knowledge about pain relief, documentation about pain, nurse´s perspective on the patient, and pain measurement.

Background and problem: Corporate Governance is a well-known phenomenon which has been the focus of plenty of research where the board of directors and the CEO have been regarded as important actors. What's affecting decisions regarding these actors has been debated whereas media has been pointed out of having an impact. To decide whether or not media can affect Corporate Governance have shown to be problematic whereas it exists divergent views regarding this. At the same time this relationship is more explored in other contexts than the swedish one, although this one is considered suitable for this. Consequently there is a motive for examining medias impact on Corporate Governance in Sweden. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to explain if media has an impact on Corporate Governance at an overall level.

Studies in Sweden have shown that the districtnurses had no time for health promotion. The Swedish government also indicate that there is a lack of health promotion and preventive care in Sweden. The purpose of this study was to describe into which extent the districtnurses in the middle and southwest area of Region Skåne worked with preventive care in their profession and into which extent they documented their achievement. The inquiry was answered by 45 districtnurses about background, present situation, preventive care, secondary prevention, tertiary prevention, health promotion and documentation. Results of this study shows that the districtnurses worked mostly with tertiary prevention.

Forskningsfältet kring ungdomars psykiska hälsa är oenigt. Forskare är oense om den psykiska ohälsan hos ungdomar ökar? och i så fall, varför? En faktor som lyfts fram som förklaring till hur ungdomar mår idag är ungdomars livsvillkor i Sverige. I det samhälle som ungdomar idag ställs inför råder en stark tilltro till individualism, vilket i sin tur leder till ett stort eget ansvarstagande som kan upplevas pressande. Dessa faktorer i sig innebär inte att ungdomar bör uppleva ett sämre psykiskt mående, tvärtom, de flesta ungdomar i Sverige idag mår bra.

Kunskaps- ochkompetensnivån etologer emellan kan således variera, vilket bidrar till gemene mans dåligakännedom om etologer samt en något splittrad yrkeskår.

This paper examines a popular music song (Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez) as a sign system in television advertising. The study was conducted through qualitative questionnaires in connection to an audio-visual method of analysis called Masking. The method facilitates the analysis of isolated parts in the audio-visual spectrum by masking/hiding parts of the audio-visual totality.The survey had seven respondents where a hermeneutic epistemological approach was used. The study of culture is specifically relevant to libraries confronting changes. A variety of conditions makes it beneficial for libraries to understand the strengths as well as the weaknesses of the underlying culture. Such an understanding can help libraries in adjusting to changes easier, without losing the cultural values that they hold important to their identity and strategic strengths.Taking this as a starting point the purpose of this essay is to examine and describe what aspects in prevailing library cultures are important to pay attention to when meeting changes. To accomplish this we will explore the concept of library culture, its substance, meaning and expression.Culture is reflected in the artifacts, values and underlying assumptions of formal and informal groups. Culture can be found at various levels.

Landscape architects has many ways of transforming our cities and landscapes. Traditionally, most attention has been put to visual qualities. Pen and paper are well established as the way to present proposals and to analyse in the landscape architects profession and training. But are we perhaps missing out on other ways of seeing the landscape? The purpose of this paper is to present sound as a tool of transformation. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken kunskap lärare med elever i årskurs 6-9 har om elevers stress och vad de gör och kan tänka sig göra för att underlätta för stressade elever, och vad jag i min kommande profession som svensklärare kan ta med mig ut av deras erfarenheter. Metoden jag använt för att ta reda på svaren till frågeställningarna är kvalitativa intervjuer. Resultatet visar på att lärare är relativt kunniga om vad stress är, dock skulle de behöva mer kunskap för att se symptomen på stress hos sina elever. Lärarna har en hel del konkreta metoder för att förebygga och underlätta för stressade elever, och många av dem finner stöd i litteraturen. Jag har fått en del nya idéer om hur man just i svenskämnet kan förebygga stress. Slutligen är det viktigt att identifiera stress på ett tidigt stadium så att man på så sätt kan sätta in stressförebyggande åtgärder och eliminera stressfaktorerna så vi inte utsätter eleverna för mer stress än nödvändigt..

In relation to the development of IT-products it is very important that the software supplier is aware not only of the target group but also the field of application. Usability should characterize the whole IT-design process as, in relation to this context, design includes more than merely those aspects which are visible to and thus can be interpreted by the naked eye. The study examines the specific qualities and properties that substantiate the usability and the demands that a customer rightfully expects from an IT-product. The user and the customer are highlighted in the same context in order to demonstrate that it is through the customer that an IT-product is defined as being useful. Thus, from this perspective, the user and customer can be considered as being the same person.

Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen bland kvinnor, cirka 6 300 kvinnor i Sverige drabbas varje år. Ett cancerbesked innebär ett förändrat livsperspektiv för patienten. Syftet med denna kvalitativa litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnor upplevde sjuksköterskans stöd. Litteraturstudien planerades och genomfördes enligt Polit & Hunglers (1999) arbetsgång. Resultatet delas in i tre olika kategorier: Emotionellt stöd, informativt stöd och instrumentellt stöd.
