Sjuksköterskor är från Venus, läkare är från Mars - En litteraturstudie om kommunikation mellan sjuksköterskor och läkare

Kommunikation är en stor del av sjukvården och det utväxlas varje dag tusentals budskap. Detta medför stora risker för säkerheten och vikten av att sjuksköterskan och läkaren har en bra kommunikation är tydlig. Att reflektera över sin egen del i kommunikationen och se till att rätt information överförs på ett bra och effektivt sätt är en del i sjuksköterskans profession. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som underlättar och försvårar kommunikationen mellan sjuksköterskor och läkare. Det gjordes en kvalitativ litteraturstudie som innebar en granskning av åtta vetenskapliga artiklar med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade uppskattning och ett tillmötesgående med den andra professionen, att kunna lyssna, jobba i ett likvärdigt team, ha en kunskap om den andres profession, känna tillit och att få vara en del i besluten kring patientvården var underlättande faktorer för att få en fungerande kommunikation. När sjuksköterskan uteslöts ut beslutsfattandet, när man inte hade kunskap om den andres profession, olika härkomst och bakgrund och när man enbart kommunicerade via datorn försvårades kommunikationen. Resultatet visar på att båda parter i relationen bör få lika stor plats och deras kunskaper bör vara lika mycket värda för att en bra kommunikation ska uppstå.

The contentious nature of war : an analysis of military theorists

The purpose of this essay is to investigate and assess, with Clausewitz?s theory as thebackground, how different military theorists interpret and relate to the nature of war.This essay illustrates the state of research into Clausewitz?s philosophical influences.Clausewitz?s theory of the nature of war is subjected to a qualitative text analysis that is followedby a critique of other military theorists interpretations of his theory. Subsequently a descriptive,comparative qualitative text analysis is performed where the factors identified by Clausewitz asbeing part of the nature of war (?rational thought?, ?passion? and ?chance?) are used as a meansto interpret and assess how other military theorists relate to Clausewitz theory. This essay ismainly founded on analysis of the works of Jomini, Delbrück, Fuller, Liddell Hart, Handel,Roxborough, van Creveld and Keegan.

The purpose of this study was to use qualitative interviews with students at Södertörn University to find out what drives the men who begin to study for preschool teachers, how they are treated and how they are influenced by others. I also wanted to find out what the informants believe is the cause to why so few men apply to the program and what they think need to happen to change this.This is a qualitative study based on the selected students' experiences. In order to get different perspectives, I chose to interview three students and former students. One of them chose to terminate their studies after half the time, the second is at the end of the program and the third graduated a couple of years ago and has been working for a while.I originated in the theory of ethical concepts of gender, gender contract, "token" and hegemonic masculinity. Previous research addresses that the perception of men in pre-schools can look very different.

The purpose of this paper is to explore how practicing teachers have included their education in their teaching profession. The five teachers who were interviewed expressed that they lack experience in dealing with administrative issues, conflict management, parental contact and how to manage stress. There has been prior research on how teachers perceive their everyday working lives. Those results showed that teachers are becoming stressed by not knowing how to handle certain situations.My results showed that the teachers were to busy so they created their own methods on how to deal with phenomena that the education have not treated or discussed. The interviews were analyzed with the help of two constructivist concept, authenticity and activity .Authenticity focuses on knowledge is created and constructed by everyday situations.

The purpose of this comparative study is to investigate how certified family therapeuts, with base professions psychologist and social counsellor respectively, construct boundaries through language. The study aims to demonstrate and analyse how the two professions present each other, through similarities and differences. For the purpose of definition and elucidation, the study comprises five main themes (see Appendix). The first theme is concerned with motives for choosing a professional career in family therapy. The second theme investigates conceptions of the professional role, while the third theme looks at professional practise and the implications of family therapy work.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe nurses' experience of occupational stress and factors that contribute to occupational stress. Method: The method used was a literature review. Results: The analysis resulted in five themes which describe nurses' experiences of occupational stress and factors that contribute to occupational stress.

The purpose of present study is to describe andanalyze the phenomenon of supportive conversation with elderly living in nursing homes,based on care personnel?s perspective. The study is based on qualitative interviews with thecare personnel working in special housing.

Qualitative group interviews were carried out with two student groups from the first and second year of the upper secondary school.

Diskurser och förhållningssätt bland skolsköterskor

Ungdomar i Norrbotten har en allt mer liberal syn på narkotika och elevhälsan på skolan träffar ungdomar dagligen. Jag valde att avgränsa mig till en grupp på elevhälsan, skolsköterskorna. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se hur skolsköterskornas arbete med elever som är positiv till eller använder narkotika fungera, behöver de mer kunskaper, vad kan förbättras/ förändras och hur bemöter de ungdomarna. Jag har valt en kvalitativ metod där jag har gjort semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex stycken skolsköterskor från två olika kommuner i Norrbotten, intervjuerna har analyserats med hjälp av diskursanalys. Professionsteorin används i bakgrunden och förklarar skolsköterskans profession samt hur arbetet sett ut från arbete med sjuka människor till att vara mer fokuserade på friskfaktorer.

Matematik och ingenjören : Utveckling av en aktivitet för att öka elevers motivation för matematik

This thesis primarily includes a study on whether companies can develop a mathematical activity that supports students' motivation in mathematics. The work was done together with Midroc Electro, a company that pays attention to the difficulty of recruiting and therefore was interested in investigating how the business world would be able to contribute.The thesis can be divided into three stages. The first part comprised by a exploration into research on student motivation regarding mathematics as well as numerous interviews with engineers to see how the research findings did fit with Midroc Electros reality. In these studies it became clear that the student who aims for a profession whose education or work requires math belongs to the group of students who primarily manage their studies in mathematics, that is, those that have the greatest motivation to work hard and complete their studies.Research information and interviews were compared and resulted in the thesis second part, Midroc Challenge. An activity where students primarily came to learn about the engineering profession and secondly how mathematics can be used in the engineering profession.

The background of this paper is the dual role that the social worker can have, of beeing both supportive and controlling in the meeting with clients. It is also about the power the social worker can have, how they handle the power in their profession and how they remain to it in the relationship with the client. The study is qualitative and built on interviews with eight social workers that work in different areas in the social services. We have chosen to see this dual role as if the social workers have to, in their daily work, handle the roles as one authority role and one supportive role towards the client.The purpose of this study is to understand how the dual role as the social worker has in the profession, as a helper and a authority, is expressed in the work and relationship with the client. We have turned this purpose into two questions: How do social workers with authority remain to the dual roles of the profession? How do the social workers describe and understand power?We don´t want to generalize in this study, we want to give an example of the social workers own experiences about the dual role.

This study contains how pre-school teachers talk about their mission as tutors and their assignments to educate student teachers in relation to the document that contains information concerning practice-based learning. The students are involved in communities of practice regarding pre-schools for children between one year and five years old. The pre-school teachers will share their daily work and pedagogical responsibility in the activities, meaning that the students are expected to show social engagement in interaction between children and adults. When teachers from the University visit the pre-school, the students are supposed to have a lesson or activity with the pupils in the practice class. And afterwards the students, the pre-school teachers and the teacher from University together have a developing discuss about the outcome objectives that the students are supposed to reach during the practice.

Lärare och skolbibliotekarie ett udda par som bör dra jämnt. En studie i samarbete på en högstadieskola

This Masters thesis concerns collaboration between teachers and librarians. Three theoretical perspectives, profession, power and legitimacy, are used to analyse the results of written interviews with eight teachers and one librarian at a comprehensive school. We did not find evidence of any deeper collaboration between teachers and the librarian. The effects of profession had little impact on the relation although the involved parties seemed to appreciate differences in education and points of view. The teacher retains power over education and grades while the librarian holds sway over the physical library and the purchase of books and other media.

In 1972 a national higher education for librarians was started. Up until then different categories of librarians got their education separately. The aim of this Master's thesis is to explore the attitude towards this new education for librarians. The study will concentrate on the attitude of the representatives from the research libraries. Researchlibraries had, until 1972, recruted their librarians amongst Ph.D-level scholars.
