Efter den rikspolitiska psykiatrireformen i mitten av 1990-talet uppstod runt om i Sverige rehabiliteringsverksamheter för psykiskt funktionshindrade människor. Att utveckla samverkan mellan olika myndigheter och andra organisationer kom då att anses som viktigt för att berörda personer inte skulle hamna "mellan stolarna". Inom Eskilstuna kommun uppstod bland annat en arbetslivsinriktad interorganisatorisk rehabiliteringsverksamhet kallad ArbetsDax, med professionella på operativ nivå som kallades samordnare.Syftet med framställningen har varit att utifrån olika materialtyper i sociologisk mening försöka bidra till begripliggörandet av verksamhetens diskursiva karaktär och samordnarens professionskaraktär. Det förstnämnda var intressant utifrån antagandet att den språkliga praktiken utgjorde något högst väsentligt inom verksamheten - särskilt med fokus på hur klienter, samordnare och samverkan framställdes. Det sistnämnda var intressant utifrån antagandet att ArbetsDax samordnare kunde bidra med något kvalitativt/kvantitativt annorlunda än professioner på de "rena" myndigheter, främst försäkringskassan och arbetsförmedlingen, som ArbetsDax samverkade med.Den diskursiva karaktären inom verksamheten framstod i analysen som ett komplext konsensusarbete.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att undersöka vad elever på högstadiet har för uppfattningar om hälsoarbetet i ämnet Idrott och Hälsa. Syftet med arbetet har tillkommit utifrån personliga preferenser där vi anser att det kan finnas en viss relevans kopplat till vår framtida profession. Examensarbetet kommer även undersöka hur eleverna upplever sitt och idrottslärarens arbete med hälsa inom ämnet Idrott och Hälsa främst utifrån elevernas perspektiv. Enligt den tidigare forskningen inom området anses begreppet hälsa vara ett väldigt diffust och komplext begrepp då det tolkas olika av olika individer, därför undersöks elevernas egna tankar kring begreppet hälsa. Undersökningen genomförs med hjälp av en kvalitativ intervjumetod på en grupp högstadieelever i en mellanstor stad i mellersta Sverige.

The main purpose of this Master?s thesis is to explore university librarians? thoughts about the future. The analytical focus is thus on the librarians? representations of the future. The theoretical framework used is narrative theory with a social constructionist viewpoint.

Introduction: Good hand hygiene practice is the single most important measure to reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses in healthcare. For nurses, this has become more important as the spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospitals is increasingObjective: To identify factors that are important for adherence to hand hygiene among health care workers with patient contact.Method: Systematic literature review. Original articles were searched in PubMed and Cinahl.Results: Factors of importance for compliance was profession, lack of time, knowledge/education, physical work environment, attitudes toward hand hygiene, and dry hands.Conclusion: More education, less workload and more visible placement of hand disinfectant containers are examples of actions that could lead to the improvement of staff hand hygiene and reduce the incidence of healthcare associated infections. Due to the fact that health care workers around the world have different training and approaches, the result of this study may be difficult to use. To increase adherence to hand hygiene, a similar study limited to a specific country, such as Sweden, would therefore be interesting to carry through.Keywords: hand hygiene, Infection Control, Compliance..

Vi riktar detta arbete till människor som i sin profession kommer i kontakt med individer som har neuropsykiatriskt funktionshinder. De som företrädesvis har hjälp av rapporten är de som jobbar inom områden som berör samtal och vägledning. Vi har intervjuat sju personer som har neuropsykiatriska diagnoser och två personer som jobbar professionellt med samtal och vägledning av neuropsykiatriskt funktionshindrade. Vi har även använt egen relevant litteratur, obligatorisk kurslitteratur, manuell sökning av lämplig litteratur på bibliotek i Vetlanda, Tranås och Ydre samt sökt lämpligt materiel via Internet, vi har även talat med personer som är berörda av vårt ämne. I vårt resultat kom vi fram till att personer med neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder behöver bestämda ramar, konkreta och tydliga mål som är nåbara, samt relevant information som är förklarande i sitt sammanhang.

Sexualitet är en central del av individens tillvaro, och ses som både ett behov och en drift. Flertalet sjukdomar, skador och medicinska behandlingar kan ge upphov till sexuella dysfunktioner. Sexualitet innefattas i en holistisk omvårdnad och patienter har en uttalad önskan att få information och kunskap kring sexualitet. Trots detta brister sjuksköterskor i att undervisa, stödja och råda sina patienter i frågor som berör sexualitet. Det ansågs därför betydelsefullt att belysa vad som främjar respektive hindrar sjuksköterskans professionella samtal kring sexualitet.

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject.    I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Through ?assessment for learning? we can help the students to improve their self-assessment and understanding of the learning process.

The aim of my work was, from the point of view from my respondents and literature, to create a picture of why so many highly educated people born abroad don't have an employment that coincides with their education.The question at issue was: How come highly educated people born abroad don't have an employment that coincides with their education from the native country?In my work, I carried out interviews with six highly educated people born abroad that moved to Sweden in the 1990's. In my results and my conclusion I started with the view of the respondents and the literature, linked together to some theories I have found fruitful for my understanding of the respondents' answers.The theoretical starting point for analysis of my work was the human capital theory, the theory of growth, the signal and filter theory and Habermas' theory.The result of my studies show that there are several factors that causes many highly educated people born abroad to have difficulties in getting an employment that coincides with their education. Such factors are weaknesses in the language, the lack of networks within one's profession and the fact that it takes a long time to complement the education..

The aim with this thesis was to investigate how the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet construct and reproduce imaginations of gender and gender order. An important premise for our work is the agenda theory, which states that media has great impact on what is on their audience mind. We chose to investigate how Aftonbladet wrote about two Swedish footballers, Lotta Schelin and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, during a European championship with each players national team. By using a method of critical discourse analysis based on Teun van Dijks idea and with gender glasses, we analysed eight articles and two chronicles regarding each player.Our results show that Aftonbladet construct and reproduce gender and gender order by its different ways of portraying Lotta Schelin and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Articles regarding Lotta Schelin tend to be more audience oriented, focus more on her and her teammates emotions and more often focus on things outside her profession as a footballer.

This master's thesis reports on our investigation of how the public librarian's professional identity is formed and what it is formed of. We have considered factors such as: education, competence and daily tasks. In order to fulfil this aim we have used a literature study on concepts such as competence, education, professional identity and profession. We have also carried out an empirical study where we have interviewed nine librarians on public libraries. The method of analysis is qualitative.

This paper conducts a qualitative examination based on interviews with six childrens librarians. The purpose is to put a perspective on the librarians competence and focal knowledge within the area of reading promotion and reading stimulation aimed for children, and also to examine how this competence and knowledge is constructed. The work is based on the following questions: How do childrens librarians experience reading promotion and reading stimulation within their profession? Which competence and what knowledge do childrens librarians experience as most important in order to make their work with reading promotion and reading stimulation function? What can be concluded regarding the construction of their competence and knowledge? The analysis is carried out from theories about competence, tacit knowledge and reading promotion. Following primary conclusions are drawn from the study: The professional role is mainly experienced as promoting reading as pleasure, but also as an important factor for childrens language development.

BACKGROUND: Mental disorders amongst students, has increased, and foremost amongst girls. One way to regulate their emotions, is by deliberate self-harm. Due to their profession, school nurses have the ability to detect self-harm amongst students, and can therefor give them a good professional support. AIM: The aim of this study is to describe the school nurse's experience of deliberate self-harm amongst students. METHOD: The study is based on thirteen interviews with school nurses, via e-mail.

This thesis deals with questions about competences and qualities that librarians inpublic libraries find that they need to be qualified suppliers of literature (books andmagazines).Our aim is to problematize the competence of the profession in relation to promotingliterature, knowledge in literature and reading habits. We want to know what librariansthemselves think about their own competences when it comes to supplying andpromoting literature. Does it have to be a leisure interest or do they get the possibility toread during working hours?What do librarians think it means to be a qualified promotor of literature and how dothey acquire the right competence? Do they believe that their competence correspondswith the occupational requirements? How much of their knowledge about literature andpromoting literature comes from personal interest and commitment?We primarily used the theories about competence by Per-Erik Ellström. One of thetheories is the one of implicit and explicit knowledge.

I denna c-uppsatts problematiseras området konflikthantering och anledningen till att människor hamnar i konflikter. Syftet är att beskriva hur pedagoger i den dagliga skolverksamheten arbetar med konflikthantering samt om de har några speciella metoder eller strategier. Vi använde kvalitativa intervjuer som undersökningsmetod till vårt arbete. Syftet bröt vi ner i tre frågeställningar som sökte svar på frågor hur pedagoger arbetar med konflikthantering, deras tankar, erfarenheter och upplevelser inom området. Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv på lärande där vi har tagit i beaktning, utifrån ett forskningsperspektiv, att människan hela tiden påverkas av sin omgivning.

Background. Immunohistochemistry is a useful method in the differential diagnosis between pleural mesotheliomas and metastatic adenocarcinomas in the pleura. Cytokeratin 20 and 7 have been used successfully as markers in studies determining primary location of adenocarcinomas from metastases. The current study is a complementary research of archived paraffininbedded material of cases with cancer origin. This study contributes a bigger statistical material that may facilitate the search for unknown primary site of adenocarcinoma by identification of metastatic cells in the pleura.Methods.
