This investigation is aimed to analyze and gain insight into how young people of the "second generation immigrants" identify themselves in a society where they are seen as immigrants of the environment in view of the name. Also, how they identify themselves during trips to their home/country of origin are of relevance to see if they are affected in their own identification, depending on how they believe they are seen from the outside.Through a survey, the statistics were produced, which serves as a preliminary to the larger part of the investigation where six individuals were interviewed in order to give deeper answers to the questions sought. The answers that emerged were then analyzed in relation to selected theories.In connection with the investigation it has emerged that the young people in question often identify themselves in such a way that they think that the surroundings look at them. It is in relation to how others see them as they see themselves, which creates a distance between the surroundings and themselves. Aim: Preferential treatment and allocation of quotes according to sex are two current concepts due to the increasing demand for equality. One organization that may use preferential treatment is the fire department. This is why we chose it as a starting point for our study. Operationspersonal är en grupp som behöver ha ett bra teamarbete med varandra, speciellt när det gäller att jobba för en säkrare vård för patienterna. I en operationssal jobbar ett multiprofessionellt team, där tillvaratagande av varandras kompetenser är en förutsättning för ett bra resultat. Operationssjuksköterskan, med sin unika kompetens, har tillsammans med resten av teamet ett ansvar för att bidra till ett gott och välfungerande teamarbete inne på salen. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa operationssjuksköterskors upplevelser av att arbeta i ett team på en operationssal.

The purpose of the study was to examine possible aspects concerning the choice to play as good or evil with a focus on the players´ subjective experience. A form was constructed and the material was interpreted according to Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The games Mass Effect I and II were used as an example of the choice to play as good or evil since the choice between Renegade (evil) and Paragon (good) is present. The sample consisted of individuals who had played Mass Effect I and/or Mass Effect II and were over 18 years old. The end result concerning who played a Renegade or a Paragon came to be very uneven (15 out of 16 participants played a Paragon) which means that the result mostly relates to possible aspects concerning the choice to play a Paragon.

In Stockholm there are currently five women, out of a total of 102 employees, working in public sports arenas. In sports arenas men are numerically superior amongst the workers as well as the visitors. These arenas are in many ways male dominated, masculinized environments. In this essay I investigate the reasons behind the uneven distribution, in terms of gender, among sports arena workers. I do this by interviewing seven female sports arena workers (the five current and two former), and by observing their workplaces.

Academic research indicates that critical publicity can have a detrimental effect on brand attitudes. The negative effects have been showed to be buffered by cognitive bias elicited by strong favourable attitudes, commitment, brand certainty and brand identification. It has been proposed that the influence of such bias in a news reporting context should be studied, something that also is interesting from a brand perspective. The study therefore investigated whether a well-publicised scandal in one period can lead to increased critical publicity in the coming periods. A case study of Swedish grocery chain ICA was conducted.

Syftet var också att belysa vilka konsekvenser denna samverkan har för elevers delaktighet i ämnet idrott och hälsa enligt idrottslärare och sjukgymnaster.  Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med fem idrottslärare och fem sjukgymnaster. Intervjuerna transkriberades, analyserades innehållsmässigt och kategoriserades. Bearbetningen mynnade ut i 15 teman som beskriver idrottslärarnas respektive sjukgymnasternas subjektiva uppfattningar om idrottsundervisning för elever med funktionsnedsättning, om respektive profession uppdrag/förväntningar samt om samverkan mellan idrottslärare och sjukgymnast.

In organizations today Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming a common means to try to gain legitimacy and credibility for their business. A successful CSR strategy has the potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.

The management of assets in organisations today can be a challenging task and optimising their usage is critical to ensure maximum profit. For rental businesses offering tangible products efficient management of movable assets are an essential part of the business strategy. The main purpose of this study is to investigate how asset management and asset information management can be carried out in rental businesses and in what ways information technology can support it. By doing a literature review combined with a case study where three rental businesses and their use of information technology were examined we could identify several important aspects regarding asset information management. The results we have found is that rental businesses with a high degree of digitization in existing asset information management systems are able to rationalize existing work processes, which in some ways changes the roles of employees.

Mitt arbete tar upp varför förskolan är en kvinnodominerad arbetsplats. Vilka de bakomliggande orsakerna till att det är så belyses också i arbetet. I min undersökning ingår både manliga och kvinnliga förskollärare samt en kommunal tjänsteman. Deras tankar kring varför kvinnliga förskollärare är i så stor majoritet och vad det beror på att de manliga förskolärarna i förskolan är så få, presenteras. Undersökningen är genomförd på fem olika förskolor samt på ett kommunalkontor i Nordvästra Skåne..

The aim of this thesis is to examine the archivist's professional role in public authorities and discuss if, and in what way, the profession is effected by the new swedish process oriented archival description system. The study focuses on swedish authorities and does not make any international comparisons with other institutions. Neither does it investigate archivists workingin the private sector, but centers on public institutions.The survey is performed in five swedish public authorities, using interviews and observations. Grounded theory is used as a method initially in the purpose of keeping an open mark towards the object of study. The initial results led on to questions about how well the archivists perceived that communication within the authorities served, and how this in turn prepossessed their work situation and the professional roles in which they found themselves.
