This essay is about literature instruction in the last three years of Sweden?s compulsory school from one teacher?s and six of his pupils? perspective. The research is analysed from a socio-cultural perspective on learning and literature reception.The empiric material is based on interviews with the teacher and six of his students.The research shows that there is a difference between what the pupils read on their spare time and what they read during Swedish instruction. It also shows that the pupils wants literature full of action where descriptions of people and the setting don?t slow down the reading experience.The teacher is successful in finding literature the pupils appreciate but sees the value of literature on another level ? in the processing of the reading experience.

The aim of the study was to through empirical studies interpret the relation between three partially investigated house foundations, on an abandoned farm in Langhammars on northern Fårö. This relation focused upon two main questions; the time of use and the spatial distribution of the archaeological finds.Trough comparative analysis two of these houses can establish to have been contemporary, the third one is too roughly examined. A discussion about the hypothec idea of two or three contemporary farms was made with a negative result.In house 1 smaller processing of tools of flint has taken place near the fireplace in the larger room. A concentration of pottery was also visible near the fireplace, likely to be connected to cooking and eating. The smallest room in the northeast part of the house could have functioned as a storeroom and/or held workshop activities.The archaeological finds and the distribution of it, strongly indicates that house 1 mostlikely consisted of a dwelling house and house 2 functioned as a workshop; linked to activities with handicrafts.

This thesis aims to find a more cost effective model for purchasing and logistics at asmall company. The studied company is a BMX (bicycle motocross) and MTB(mountain bike) retailer. The questions to be answered are: How large parties shouldbe ordered and what mode of transportation is to be used? A literature orientation ofthe field was followed by visits to the company, obtaining information from twodifferent logistics companies and interviews of four other companies in the sameindustry. The study shows that it´s difficult to develop an optimum order quantity fora small company since there often are other factors affecting how large amountshould be ordered.

Uppsatsens övergripande syfte har varit att skapaförståelsen för unga kvinnors konsumtion avhandväskor. Vidare har vi undersökt hur och varfören grupp kvinnor använder och konsumerarhandväskor. Resultatet har belysts ur fem olika teman: synen på konsumtion, handväskans funktion, den trend-medvetna handväskan, handväska beroende på ekonomisk ställning, samt den kompletterande identiteten. Ur analysen av dessa teman har vi urskönjt två olika sorters väskkonsumenter: ?den praktiska väskshopparen? samt ?wannabe-fashionistan?.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur medier, så som TV, tidningar och Internet påverkar kroppsuppfattningen bland eleverna på designprogrammet. Samt att se om, och i så fall hur, lärarna arbetar med att förebygga den konstlade bild av kropp och kön som media visar upp. Som grund till detta arbete ligger en enkätstudie gjord med 54 elever på ett designprogram. Baserat på resultatet från enkätundersökningen genomfördes gruppintervjuer med lärare och elever på designprogrammets textila inriktning. Resultatet visade att trots att eleverna i väldigt liten utsträckning led av övervikt så eftersträvade de ständigt en slankare och mer vältränad kropp.

Högkänsliga personer sägs registrera fler nyanser i sin omgivning än andra människor och även bearbeta och reflektera kring intrycken på ett djupare sätt. Därför kan de också ibland bli överstimulerade av alla sinnesintryck. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad det kan innebära att leva som högkänslig. Med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer som hölls via chattprogrammet Skype samlades information in från elva högkänsliga personer. Samtliga deltagare var medlemmar i SFH, Sveriges Förening för Högkänsliga.

The aim of this study was to investigate for how long patients fast before thoracic surgery, plastic surgery and ear, nose and throat surgery, at the University hospital of  Uppsala, and what knowledge patients have about fasting and how they get affected by it. 30 patients were interviewed, 10 patients at each ward, according to a questionnaire. Data processing was performed with SPSS. There was no difference in fasting time for solids between the wards but the mean fasting time was 14 hours. In the thoracic ward patients fasted from liquids considerably longer than in the other wards.

Our report procedure identification of instability and disturbance in an automatic manufacturing line of processing and assembling of chair sliding rails at Sapas manufacturing department in Vetlanda.To obtain a stabile ground we have mapped the material flow to receive a comprehensive view and to visualise connections.We have examined cycle times at different stations in purpose to identificate bottlenecks. The result of our examination showed that the bottleneck of the line was the brush station. This leads to that the expected bottlenecks identificated by Sapa gets a delay time and by that a longer cycle time.Interruptions has a clear negative influence at the line performance so we have also assemble data through the operators report list and compiled these in order to find out the interruptions effect on the line. The outcome during our assembled period was that the reported interruptions corresponded about 30 percent of the total available production time. This has a clear negative effect on the line productivity and efficiency as we have calculated in order to get the present status..
