In this Bachelor thesis an animal bone material from Västergarn parish is analyzed and discussed. The purpose of this thesis is to gain more knowledge about the Viking Age/Early Medieval Västergarn. Västergarn has a few remains from former days which have been discussed throughout the years and are still a bit of a mystery for archaeologists. The main focus is to inquire into whether Västergarn was an urban, complex society or a rural settlement. This will be done by studying the animal husbandry from the property of Snauvalds 1:2.

The purpose of this essay is to examine different conceptions of God children express in speech and image. The essay also concern how children's images of God are shaped in a secular and pluralistic society, such as Sweden. The children included in the investigation are in first and third grade in middle-sized Swedish town's primary school. In the essay, two methods are used, which is picture analysis and qualitative interviews. The material consists of 47 children's drawings and a smaller selection of interviews with the child's drawing as a starting point.

The aim for this master thesis is to create an understanding of the intersubjective processes of how individuals are experimenting with their identities in social media and the consequences for the identity and embodiment. Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen är att se om, och i så fall hur, elevernas antal steg samt upplevda ansträngningsnivå under lektioner i idrott och hälsa påverkas av vilket tempo bakgrundsmusiken har. Metod: Studien utfördes på 83 gymnasieelever från två olika skolor (varav 35 elevers resultat slutligen kunnat användas). Eleverna genomförde två till synes identiska lektioner vardera, där huvudmomentet bestod av en stationsbana. Den ena lektionen genomfördes till musik med ett BPM[1] högre än 140, medan den andra hade under 120 BPM. Två av klasserna började med musik i det lägre tempot och två med musik i det högre tempot.

The aim of the study is to investigate what the members of the movement have in common and on what viewpoints their opinions differ. The material used for the study is Internet blogs written by Islamic feminists and the timeframe of the blog posts stretches from the start of the Arab Spring until today.

The main strategy of gender equality policies has since the 1990s been gender mainstreaming. Many government inquiries show how much the Swedish government, provincial governments and municipalities are working with gender mainstreaming. The purpose of this paper is to investigative how the municipalities within the county of Stockholm handle gender mainstreaming demands in relation to other demands that the municipalities face. This is in order to closer investigate the hidden factors that create barriers to gender mainstreaming efforts. Given the study's purpose and the formulation of research question, qualitative method is the most suitable method to fulfill the purpose.

Detta med hänsyn till stora pensionsavgångar de närmaste åren som innebär att allt färre skall försörja allt fler och en åldersstruktur som i ökad utsträckning kommer att efterfråga sjukvård i större omfattning. Med detta för ögonen står vi inför utmaningar inom arbetslivsforskningen för att hitta faktorer till hållbar arbetsförmåga högt upp i åren.Syfte: Denna pilotstudie har haft som syfte att inventera attityder och upplevda förutsättningar hos sjukhusanställda läkare och undersköterskor och deras arbetsgivare, som skulle kunna möjliggöra en hållbar arbetsförmåga hos äldre arbetstagare. Undersökt grupp och metod: Strategiskt valdes 14 representanter äldre än 50 år från arbetsgivarsidan (n=6) och arbetstagarsidan (n=8), män (n=6) och kvinnor (n=8) samt från grupperna undersköterskor (n=4) och läkare (n=4). Från arbetsgivarsidan ingick både verksamhetschef (n=2), avdelningschef (n=2) och sjukhusledningen (n=2).

This thesis processes the work of developing CPU code and GPU code for Thomas Kaijsers algorithm for calculating the kantorovich distance and the performance between the two is compared. Initially there is a rundown of the algorithm which calculates the kantorovich distance between two images. Thereafter we go through the CPU implementation followed by GPGPU written in CUDA. In 2013 a new emission standard for heavy trucks was introduced and hence a number of new parts was brought in to Scania CV AB. This created a need for modifications in the silencers flow. The flow is highly complex involving several suppliers, call off methods and different models of silencers. The aim for this project was to improve the existing silencers flow. The flow, from supplier to assembling, has therefore been mapped.
