The use of silicon carbide (SiC) as a base material in power electronics has manyadvantages, including high breakdown voltage and excellent temperature endurance.However, the packaging of such electronics presents major challenges and there is aneed for packaging that can operate in higher temperature. The purpose of this thesishas been to develop a test method and verify the functionality of SiC powertransistors prototypes with a new packaging technique developed by Swerea IVF AB.It includes setting up an electrical test-bed for power and high temperature cyclingand analysis of the results. Even though test confirmed functionality after thepackaging process, (at room temperature) the performance seemed to have been reduced. This could be a result of the measurement setup and the packaging process.In higher temperature the transistors failed to operate longer than a couple ofminutes which showed the weaknesses in the design and the challenges with this typeof packaging..

En studie av personalpolitiken hos ett mellanstort tjänsteföretag; dess syften, effekter och utveckling Syftet med denna uppsats är undersöka personalpolitiken hos Sparbanken i Karlshamn som är ett medelstort, enskilt tjänsteföretag. Vår avsikt är att utreda dess syften, effekter och utveckling. I uppsatsen har vi använt kvalitativ metodteori och utifrån denna intervjuat tre personer från fallföretaget. Respondenterna har noga utvalts och det empiriska materialet har baserats på personliga och fokuserade frågor. Vidare har vi använt oss av andra observationer och kontakter med personer väl insatta i området samt sekundärdata.

This study investigates how performance management in primary schools can facilitate learning, relating to theories of efficient schools. This is done through a qualitative study of the performance management systems in two public primary schools in Sweden. The schools selected were similar in all major aspects, except pupil grades, where there was a clear difference between the schools. The analysis revealed differences in how the schools handled the process of management by objectives, the professional development of teachers as well as routines, rules, and policies. We conclude that having a rooted process for management by objectives, professional development of teachers, and clearly formalized values, gives a school a good foundation to support a pupil's learning and development..

IntroduktionBröstcancer är den vanligaste cancersjukdom hos kvinnor i den svenska befolkningen. Vid icke spridd cancer är behandlingen alltid operation där en del eller hela bröstet opereras bort. Det kan vara mycket svårt för många kvinnor att acceptera bröstförlust och mastektomi upplevs ofta av kvinnor som ett trauma och ger en försämrad kroppsuppfattning. SyfteSyftet var att beskriva kvinnornas livskvalitet och psykosociala tillstånd efter mastektomi. MetodEn systematisk litteraturstudie baserades på granskning av 14 kvantitativa artiklar och en kvalitativ artikel. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades, analyserades och diskuterades och sammanställde resultatet med olika tema. ResultatAnalysen resulterade i två huvudkategorier: Livskvalité och psykosociala konsekvenser. De psykosociala konsekvenserna efter genomförd mastektomi bestod av tre subkategorier nämligen: sämre kroppsuppfattning, minskad sexuell lust samt ångest och depression vilket i sin tur ledde till försämrad livskvalitet. Slutsats    Försämrad livskvalitet, dålig kroppsuppfattning och psykisk ohälsa såsom depression, ångest samt försämrat sexualliv påvisades hos majoriteten av kvinnor som genomgick mastektomi.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how two separate museums have realised the task of digitizing their collections, as well as to learn what options, possibilities and resources have been available to them during this process. Additionally, the aim here is to find how the two museums have dealt with problems in connection to the digitization projects, since there are as-of-yet no established regulations or standards to guide them in their digitization efforts. However, national and international working groups seeking to establish better collaboration between archives, libraries and museums ALM institutions have recently begun to formulate recommendations and suggested standards. Some of these recommendations have been used here as a theoretical framework in the examination of the two museums. The research questions posed are: What options, possibilities and resources have been available to the museums in their digitization projects, in terms of economy, staff, technical equipment and time?; For what purpose are the museums digitizing their collections?; and How does their purpose influence the process and chosen procedures? Also discussed here is how the museums relate to some of the existing recommendations.

The general theme is performative art in public spaces.This text is a meta-narrative about this development and transformation process. Nurses have an important role caring with the suicidal patient as they often are the first to encounter these individuals. In order to develop their skills, nurses need to understand the complexity of the problem around the thoughts of wanting to die. The purpose of the study was to compile and elucidate research that describes how nurses can provide care to suicidal patients. The method used was a literature review. The results were divided into seven themes that can guide the nurse in the work: to be there, give time and listen, to recognize and assess risk factors, working in a team, to be attentive to own attitudes, to give hope, to be able to process their feelings, increased knowledge of the causes of suicide.

The aim of the project is to develop a tool for a management system at the advertising agency ofConfetti. The company has during a longer period of time felt a need of introducing a quality and environmentalsystem but have a lack in resources of knowledge, time and money. Their goal is to have aconcrete documentation which describes their quality policy and the function of the activity.The work has been performed by mapping and analyzing the processes of the company according tothe process model with focus on one pilot process. New routines have been developed and documentedin a management system.Confetti would like their management system to fulfil the ISO-standard so that they eventually inthe future can be certified. Therefore a literature study has been done according to management systemsand standards.

The purpose of this study has been to look how pedagogic process interacts in horse riding lessons. In order to research this problem I have used an ethnographic approach and during a week I observed ten riding lessons in two separate Riding house in the south of Sweden. In my theoretical frame I have used Michel Foucault ?Discipline and punish? as a toll to make clear how dominance and submission is present and active in the horse riding education. The conclusion shows how dominant power rules by its presence and creates submission, stability and feeling of security. The discipline is used to create a feeling that will bring the riders to new experience and develop their talent.

Computer use at work has risen considerably over the past fifteen years and is currently a relatively common phenomenon when 76 percent of women and 72 percent of men using the computer in their daily work (SCB Arbetsmiljörapport 2009).According to Gulliksen and Göransson (2009), Sweden is one of the countries which are more advanced in the procurement of computer systems at work. He means that Sweden has unique opportunities and conditions for user participation in the development of computer systems, when the user has the right to influence their working environment through a law in the Work Environment Act. The paper examines the importance of user involvement in system development and the Swedish company's approach and experience of user involvement. To highlight and explore the importance of user involvement, there has been a case study in which users have been representative of the development process. The case study has been conducted on a case company where the system IST analys was in need of a new interface.

Undersökningen syftar till att visa konkreta inslag av elevinflytande i undervisningen. Jag utgår i undersökningen från att elevinflytandet vilar på fyra ben som är beroende av varandra och som alla är villkor för lärande: engagemang, delaktighet, medvetenhet och ansvar. Med utgångspunkt i läroplanen (Lpo 94) har jag med hjälp av en metodtriangulering bestående av en observationssekvens, enkäter till lärare och elever i årskurs åtta med tyska som språkval sammanställt befintliga eller icke befintliga delar av elevinflytandet. Undersökningen visar på vilket sätt eleverna har inflytande över undervisningen och över sitt eget lärande samt hur denna process genomförs. Konstateras kan att det, när det gäller att förverkliga elevinflytande i enlighet med läroplanens intentioner, är fråga om en tidskrävande process som framskrider gradvis..

Bakgrund: Höftfrakturer hos äldre ökar varje år, både hos män och kvinnor, och är ett av de största hälsoproblemen. Cirka en fjärdedel av alla platser på ortopediska avdelningar upptas av höftfrakturs patienter och detta kostar sjukvården miljonbelopp varje år. I stort sett alla höftfrakturer uppkommer till följd av fall. Dessa fall behöver förebyggas och i detta arbete har sjuksköterskan en viktig roll. Osteoporos är en utbredd sjukdom som ger en minskad hållfasthet i benet och ökar risken för frakturer.

The report describes an ecodesign thesis performed by the author at the ÅF EcoDesign Center. The basic idea of ecodesign is to develop products with a minimized environmental load, without neglecting other significant product aspects such as function and price. During the last couple of years the public interest in environmental friendly products has increased, which has made it possible for companies to make a profit from their investments in ecodesign. To meet the increasing market for ecodesign services ÅF started the ÅF EcoDesign Center, where the company has gathered all of their competence in ecodesign in order to help companies to become greener. The task was to develop a tool for an Eco Screening.

Föreliggande studie är dels ett led i att kvalitetssäkra EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) som behandlingsmetod för barn och ungdomar och dels att utröna om behandlingen bidragit till ett förbättrat mående. EMDR som behandlingsmetod för barn och ungdomar har stöd i kontrollerade studier, men ytterligare forskning behövs. I den här studien deltog åtta barn och ungdomar med varierande diagnoser, vilka fått EMDR-behandling i barn- och ungdomspsykiatrisk öppenvård. Behandlingen ingick i en individualterapi i ett familjeterapeutiskt sammanhang.Barnen/ungdomarna intervjuades per telefon om hur de upplevt behandlingen och om sitt mående i efterförloppet. Information om diagnoser, C-GAS, antal EMDR-sessioner samt terapeutens bedömning inhämtades som komplement till intervjun.
