AbstractIn the secondary-school program for hotel and restaurant complete courses or parts of courses are placed in workplaces so called workplace education (APU), this means that the content in the course plan must be discussed and be divided in a proper way between the school and the workplace, so that the students is gaining all the parts that is prescribed in the goals for the course.Interviews with tutors and teachers have been performed, with the purpose of investigating how the collaboration between the school and the workplaces should look like so that the APU fulfills the content and quality that are prescribed in the specifications of the education. The study shows that a better structure for collaboration between the school and the workplaces is needed. Lack of time and financial resources are the factors that according to the study reduces the possibility?s to (among other things) perform education of tutors, and for the teachers to plan and follow-up the APU-period..

We have made a qualitative study of what the students at Södertörns högskola use Södertörns högskola?s intranet Kurswebben for and how they experience the use of it. For this purpose we have made a qualitative interview examination with six students. The empirical material has been analysed according to our own analytic model which is based on existing usability theories and consists of the tree parts content, function and design.Our conclusion is that the students use Kurswebben mainly to keep themselves updated, download teaching material and schedules. According to our study, the students most of the time experience their use of Kurswebben as simple, but sometimes have a reluctance to visit it.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the content and work processes regarding the values written in the curriculum for Swedish high schools and compare it with theories regarding the individualized society and political moralism. After the clarification of the content in the values of Swedish high schools and the work processes that are supposed to give students fundamental understanding about them, I analyze and compere it to the theories that are presented in the study. The main questions of the study are the following: What kinds of values are found in the curriculum for Swedish high schools? In general, how do Swedish high schools work with the written values when focus have gone from education and learning to instrumental knowledge, results, abilities and flexibility?The result showed that the content and work processes regarding the values in Swedish high schools are purely instrumental and moralistic. Due to the fact, that the individualized society and the neoliberal ideology do not require reflection and real understanding regarding the values.

Previous research on Twitter use among nonprofit organizations has been centered on the US, thisessay Nonprofits on Twitter: a content analysis of Swedish nonprofits working for gender equalityseeks to expand that research to include nonprofit organizations operating in Sweden. I det här arbetet tar jag upp vad det finns för slang i Norrköping. Jag jämför slangord mellan fyra generationer i en undersökning som består av en enkätdel, där informanterna har fått svara skriftligt och en muntlig intervjudel som utgår ifrån svaren på enkäten. Jag har här intervjuat grupper där män är för sig och kvinnor för sig, fyra stycken ifrån varje kön och generation. Totalt är det 32 stycken informanter. De är födda i Norrköping eller inflyttade några få år efter födseln.

Men?s magazines is a form of media that has been present and popular among men for decades and even centuries. In the beginning of 1990 the popularity for men?s magazines boosted as the new ideal man was presented. The new lad represented a new masculinity that was more honest about its ideals and point of views.

The purpose of this essay is to examine and compare the news covering of Swedens three biggest cities (the metropolitan areas) and their surrounding areas with the covering of the rest of the country (the provincial areas) in two daily national newspapers, Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter. The aim has been to answer the following questions:- What amount of the news coverage in Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter concern the metropolitan areas compared to the provincial areas, and how do these two newspapers differ in the news covering of these areas?- Is there a difference in the news articles size and content, depending on weather they concern the metropolitan or the provincial areas?- How has the balance between news concerning metropolitan and provincial areas changed over the recent 20 years?The theories used in this study are News values, the media commercialization and Popular Journalism, and The Agenda Setting Theory. The method that has been used is a Quantitative Content Analysis.Despite the essays hypothesis, that the news coverage in the two newspapers would be dominated by material from the metropolitan areas, the result showed that a majority of the examined articles concern the provincial areas. It also showed that Aftonbladet has a bigger percentage of provincial news than Dagens Nyheter.

För ett par år sedan tog utvecklingen och fokuseringen kring Internet fart på allvar ute bland företag. Alla skulle ha en webbsida och anledningen till detta var ofta att konkurrenten hade en eller att man bara ville synas. Idag finns det ett antal så kallade Content Management System utvecklade för att hantera information på Internet, intranet och extranet. Det gemensamma för dessa system är att användarna skall kunna uppdatera, vidareutveckla och administrera lösningen utan någon teknisk kompetens. Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka om ett Content Management System effektiviserar uppdateringen av information, med hjälp av kategorier inom användbarhet. Användbarhet består av flera olika kategorier, dock har vi valt att begränsa oss till tre av dessa; effektivitet, syfte och tillfredsställelse. För att få djupare kunskaper inom ämnet användbarhet har vi läst böcker och artiklar, vi har även sökt information via Internet. Vi hittade information om användbarhetstest där vi fann en metod som hette utredning.

The interviews with the female leaders have a more personal character with a larger focus on their private life while men gets to answer more technical questions related to their company. Women are questioned about their children and home while men are not.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en ökad förståelse för barns tankar, känslor och uppfattningar om Pippi Långstrump som karaktär. Vi vill ta reda på vad det är för dragningskraft Pippi har som tilltalar barn generation efter generation. I tidigare forskning har forskarna, till exempel Ödman (2007) och Gaare & Sjaastad (2002), undersökt temat Pippi utifrån andra utgångspunkter än barnens perspektiv. Det är oftast de som läser böckerna eller får dem lästa för sig. Att vi tar in barns perspektiv är just det som gör vår studie unik. I vår studie har vi gjort ostrukturerade intervjuer med barn och utifrån barnens perspektiv har vi sedan utgått från olika sekvenser i böckerna och gjort en närläsning för att hitta kopplingar.

Bakgrund: Vården idag präglas av ett heteronormativt och heterosexistiskt förhållningssätt. Historiskt har kvinnlig sexualitet ofta varit tabubelagt, och många inom vården upplever svårigheter med att bemöta patienter med en annan läggning än den heterosexuella.Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva homosexuella och bisexuella kvinnors upplevelse avmötet med vården.Metod: En litteraturöversikt där tio artiklar rörande ämnet homo- och bisexuella kvinnor och kommunikation i en vårdkontext valts ut och analyserats enligt Fribergs (2010) metod för litteraturstudie. Den teoretiska referensramen för arbetet är Travelbees teori om mellanmänskliga relationer.Resultat: Fem faktorer som påverkar homo- och bisexuella kvinnors upplevelse av mötet med vården fanns:  Vårdpersonalens förhållningssätt, Vårdpersonalens attityder, Vårdpersonalens utbildning och kunskapsnivå, Faktorer av betydelse för hbt-personens beslut att komma ut och Faktorer som inverkar på kommunikationen.Diskussion: I dagsläget kommer nyutexaminerad vårdpersonal ut med bristfällig kunskap i frågor som rör hbt-personer. En större vikt skulle behöva läggas vid utbildning och fortbildning och det är viktigt att stävja negativa attityder som annars tenderar att spridas från generation till generation. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how five public libraries reason about the use of social media in their day-to-day work. This thesis aim to answer three research questions: What is the libraries use of social media today? How do libraries look upon their own use of social media? And have the libraries formulated any goals about their use of social media, and what are their thoughts on this? The methodology used in this thesis is a content analysis of the libraries social media and a questionnaire interview which was sent by mail to all of the libraries involved. The theoretical framework for the thesis is a model developed by Jochumsen, Hvenegaard Rasmussen and Skot-Hansen.The results of our study shows that the room of meetings, from the theoretical framework, are the most represented in the content of the social media used by the libraries. The libraries find that social media is a good way to connect and communicate with their users, but they feel that the time they spend on their social media is not enough.Our study also shows that most of the libraries have not formulated any goals for their use of social media, and that they do not have any intentions to do so..

The aim of this Master thesis is to investigate the similarities and differences between a traditional and a new classification scheme. Two classification systems are compared, "The Swedish Library Classification System" the SAB-system - and Yahoo!. The SAB-system has been used in Swedish libraries since the beginning of the 20^th century, and Yahoo! has been online since 1994. Yahoo! has a Swedish version of its international original, which is used in this study to get a similar starting point with the SAB-system. The method used for this is a content analysis, which in this case is not a quantitative analysis.

The purpose of this essay is to study the process of developing electronic subject guides for the Internet. Our focus is the content, structure and layout of the subject guide. The study has resulted in a number of guidelines that may be of help in the development of future subject guides. To achieve this purpose we have studied the existing subject guide at one of the faculties of the University of Lund, Sweden. We performed a series of interviews with the originators, and made a questionnaire for the users.
