Medling innebär att gärningsman och brottsoffer träffas för att tillsammans samtala om hur de ska hantera följderna av en brottshändelse och dess verkningar i framtiden. Båda parterna får en central roll där de får återge sin version av händelsen utan att bli avbrutna. Syftet med rapporten är att undersöka vilka effekter medling eventuellt medför för brottsoffret. Materialet som används är både svenska och utländska studier som behandlar ämnet. Rapporten bygger också på två intervjuer med medlingssamordnare i Sverige.

Smärta är en vanlig orsak till mötet med vården. Syftet: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka faktorer som vårdpersonal och patienter uppfattar som viktiga när det gäller uppfattning och skattning av smärta i olika vårdsituationer.

Möjligheten att snabbt kunna utvärdera system är något som blir alltmer aktuellt och populärt. Två metoder som ofta kombineras för att kunna få svar på användares upplevelse och specifika problem med system är användbarhetsenkäter och prototyptestning. Frågan är dock om det finns någon användbarhetsenkät som utvärderar lo-fiprototyper bättre än andra, och hur pass lika lo-fiprototyper utvärderas av olika användbarhetsenkäter.Denna uppsats handlar om hur pass lika användbarhetsenkäterna System Usability Scale (SUS) och Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) utvärderar en lo-fiprototyp och om det finns några praktiska skillnader med enkäterna som underlättar eller försvårar när man utvärderar en lo-fiprototyp. Lo-fi-prototypen som testades var en tidig, pappersbaserad version av en att-göralista för handläggare. Testdeltagarna fick först testa att utföra ett par scenarion och interagera med prototypen under 10-15 min, de fick sedan fylla i båda enkäter.Resultaten visade på indikationer att poängen som produceras av SUS och PSSUQ vid lo-fiprototyptestning är lika, men att det skulle behövas vidare studier med fler testdeltagare för att kunna säga detta säkert.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine male social workers experiences of working in a female dominated work. The aim with this study was to find out how men perceive working with mostly women and how this effects their construction of masculinity. The theories that have been used in this study are a social constructive perspective on gender, Chodorows (1995) Theory of Socialization and Connells (2008) Theory of Masculinities. The method used in this study is qualitative interviews based on the experiences of five male social workers in Sweden.The interviews have been recorded and retailed in text in its full version, to enable analysis out of the above mentioned theories and earlier studies. The result of the study shows that the men in this study experience mostly benefits from working with women and they feel appreciated as being men.

Personlighetsdrag har visat sig vara betydelsefullt för att förstå riskbeteenden hos individer, där drag av impulsivitet, aggressivitet samt umgängesbehov har kopplats till hög frekvens av risktagande. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka skillnader med avseende på personlighet mellan två grupper av ungdomar från en normal- respektive en klinisk population. Den kliniska gruppen bestod av 22 ungdomar placerade inom SiS ? institutioner. Jämförelsegruppen bestod av 111 ungdomar från fyra olika gymnasieklasser.

Arbetets syfte är att studera om en ansats baserad på serious gaming kan göra ett datorbaserat träningsverktyg mer självständigt och mer motiverande för användaren.  I detta arbete beskrivs erfarenheterna från en fallstudie där ett speciellt träningsverktyg, Eco2Trainer, utvärderades med hjälp av användartest. Eco2Trainer är ett träningsverktyg för sparsam körning med buss. Träningen görs framför en dator med en ratt och pedaler. Arbetets syfte är att med hjälp av serious gaming göra Eco2Trainer självständig och mer motiverande för användaren. Arbetet baseras på ett uppdrag av StageIT AB och innefattar flera intressanta och aktuella delar.

Choosing the right user experience evaluation method can be difficult, choosing the right one for mobile user experience can be even more so. One major cause is that mobile usage is context dependent. Another contributing factor is that there is not one widely adopted theory or framework for user experience due to its complexity.The purpose of this study was to evaluate an existing method artifact in its feasibility for evaluating mobile applications. The chosen method, AttrakDiff2 is a self-reporting semantic differential questionnaire to evaluate the user experience of an interactive product, based on its hedonic and pragmatic qualities.A study was conducted where the participants assessed one mobile and one web application, which were later rated with AttrakDiff2. The completion of the questionnaire was conducted as a think-aloud session subsequently followed by an interview.The results suggest that the participants experience was affected more by the evaluated application style than the different platforms.

Denna uppsats avhandlar de taktiska grundprinciperna och slagen vid Tannenberg och Somme under första världskriget. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda vilka taktiska grundprinciper som användes vid dessa slag samt med hjälp av dessa försöka ge en förklaring till dess utgång.De taktiska grundprinciperna är hämtade ur Doktrin för markoperationer, vilket skall ge en förklaring till huruvida dagens svenska version av dessa kan appliceras på gårdagens slag.Den metod som legat till grund för arbetet är fallstudier baserade på en litteraturstudie. Fallstudierna medför att en djupare analys och beskrivning av händelseförloppen kan ges än om längre epoker i första världskriget skulle ha avhandlats.Arbetet är uppdelat i en inledning, där det ovannämnda är beskrivet. Därefter följer en avhandling där teorin kring de taktiska grundprinciperna beskrivs samt fallstudierna redovisas. Därefter kommer en analys där teorierna appliceras mot fallstudierna.
